Pokemon mystery dungeon red for me! But physical copy. I've got way further than I've ever reached in this run, almost all legendaries caught. Happy gaming everyone!
Gotta play it through the physical copy I got past week. Not sure if I'll even try for the 100%, I have a bit missing in the remake as well so maybe I'll finish that instead. But that Pixelart... ❤️
Would like to know the price of the dlc because that extra story REALLY interests me. At the end I didn't play the previous free dlc so I'll give a go to everything once I finish Okami (because my expectations of finishing it before dlc release is 0). The more lamb the best.
Bo is one of my fav games this year so far, gameplay is great and design wise is amazing. Also being a release without bugs and solid performance in general is a nice plus lately.
@Sephazon as someone who at this point has beaten the game and almost 100% completed it, I can confirm that not just game breaking bugs - I've not found any bug at all in my entire play through. That's certainly a good polishing work!
I have to double check but I believe my backlog on switch of already bought games is... maybe 6? Since a year ago I just buy a game if I'm going to start playing right away (apart of certain games I want to play 100% and get a nice discount, which I start playing a soon as I finish my current game), so my backlog starts to be under control. Still there are plenty of games I would like ti replay and old games I'd love to play for the first time, so no rush for the new console. If it has no backward compatibility and doesn't have a launch title that interests me, surely I'll wait for a while.
@Bass_X0 but being a silent hero doesn't mean character can't be expressive at times. Link is a silent hero but he can be expressive at times. I agree that a silent hero removes things, but there are several ways to manage.
At the same time more realistic games bring some design problems that in less realistic games are not present, which ends in yellow paint, characters moving "slow" in comparison to older games... realistic game design doesn't suit at all with most design ideas done for years.
@SBandy1 I hope so! For years I've been used to play on PCs under 15 fps so anything that goes smooth feels good for me. But the game goes pretty fluid so surely it's working on 60fps. Anyway all the platforming feels good with the fps it has!
@anoyonmus I bought and started it yesterday, I've not played too much so I can't talk for later parts of the game, but so far it's really stable and I've had zero troubles with the game. Maybe really minor drops on frame rate in certain points (let's say, from 30 to 26 for a second), but runs great overall.
Just downloaded it for trying it between Bo sessions. If English translation is that bad I can't even imagine the Spanish one... oh man, time to grab some popcorn, this gotta be terrible.
@Otoemetry thank you so much for letting me know! Finished yesterday a game so I'll be picking Bo today. That sounds good enough for me, I can't thank you enough for coming back and tell me about the game!
Still through trials of mana! My time for playing lately has been... oh well. If I manage to finish it during the weekend I'll grab bo! Happy gaming everyone!
I still have to beat the first one but... sometimes it doesn't feel difficult but unfair. Enter the gungeon is difficult, random afflictions and your own characters being able to go random is the game hating humanity and you paying the consequences. But at the same time it feels so good when a run goes well... oh man.
Almost completed moonstone island during past two weeks and loved it. Not sure what to play now, sure going back to trials of mana. Happy gaming everyone!
Not this week as this month is not giving me time for playing at all, but as soon as I can finish two games I'm into I'll get both Moonstone island and Dicefolk. Good times for us who like monster collector games!
@FawfulDX the major problem modding Nintendo games is that they are just available on its platform and they don't give any way to backup games, meaning that they've mostly need piracy in a first term. I like modding and think that companies could be more permissive about them, but in this case nintendo has the winner hand, surely not even official assets would make any difference.
@Anti-Matter it looks like Fairy Tail because it's designed by Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail. And I'm pretty sure he was said "took what you did, tweak it and let's do a game".
That said, the only reason I'm interested is because of this, I'll keep an eye on this game.
I loved this game when I played it on game pass and just like I did with Tunic and Sea of Stars I'll get the physical for switch. Or at least I'll try tho.
Surely not getting it on release since there are other indie games that have my attention for June and I already own this one on 3ds. It's a really good game, definitely getting it in the future.
I'm not really sure to be honest. Busy weekend and by now I'm playing runs of balatro whenever I can sit for resting. Maybe trials of mana if I have some free time. Happy gaming everyone!
In the complete interview they basically said (in corporate language, of course) the studios are not closed but that everyone working on them was fired. It's a similar situation with the bioshock studios 11 years ago, which was never oficially closed but... ya know.
Not interested. I've only played a handful of NES games and most of them have been thanks to NSO, so I have zero nostalgia for them. Also speed running games and competition in general aren't my thing, so by now gotta focus on backlog and some old games I still have pending.
Gotta have visit thus weekend so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to play. Just finished again Kirby nightmare in dreamland in my old gameboy micro and if I get some free time maybe I'll play some dead cells or have a nice death. Happy gaming everyone!
Stardew valley called me back after a year without playing it, maybe the news about the 1.6 update sounded like mermaid songs for me (still playing on switch so no update yet). Started playing again last Sunday and been playing every free minute I had. During this week I got to grab the golden clock, complete the museum and the sent items collection, just missing three fishes and gotta star focusing on quests and decorating my farm. Happy gaming everyone!
@sanderev actually Sony already said that there are not really big games for this year (at least first party). I feel like PS5 was launched before it should because it barely had big first party releases in these years, which is a bit sad.
Things Nintendo should do for a successful next gen: -Backwards compatibility -Simply more powerful machine -GameCube added to NSO day one Add any new function to this and surely almost any Switch user will gladly get next gen. OLED screen would be the perfect launch but my guts tell me it will not be available until later.
Tomorrow Silkson't. It's already said it will be Game Pass on release day so I don't expect it on a nintendo event. On the other hand, PLEASE, give Moonstone Island release date. It's confirmed it will arrive on spring so it's a good time to announce it.
Pokemon conquest! And maybe the Sackboy adventure game for PS4. Good lord I didn't expect pokemon conquest to have so much content. Happy gaming everyone!
@Pillowpants I remember there was a demo on steam and on Android some years ago, not sure if they're still available @PateloDim it's a pokeclone, ya know what to expect. There's no gyms but something more like boss battles (one per type available). The pixel art and the animations are great and a nice highlight. There's battle tower and online for post-game as "shiny hunting" (colors depend on the stats), and you can customize the game any time you wish to (difficulty, healing after matches, randomization, nuzlocking...). Not a game for a GOTY but will give you a nice time
Ironically 2024 is helping me clearing my backlog. The amount of released games since past year ended giving me almost anxiety and somehow it killed my interest in buying almost any game. But gaming mood was still present so I'm taking advantage to play backlog and other retro games I was interested and bought for years and never played. Of course there are games I plan to buy later this year (moonstone island I know you're coming at some point to switch and I'm waiting for you), but somehow I got more attracted to backlog this year.

@Otoemetry is it running good then? I'm really interested but I've not seen any switch review, so I've been waiting just in case.
