Nah, also considering the context (it looks like a random spot visually and even more so based on its location on the map) I'd say it's just a new enemy - not as exciting as Kanden but still, it's cool to learn more about this game in general in my book!
Don't see any contradictions either, Nintendo want to acquire developers as subsidiaries, but most likely they'll just keep on doing it "organically", i.e. sensibly (not indiscriminately unlike unfortunately other gaming companies) - anyway, seems like a great plan, fingers crossed it will be for the best for everyone involved including us players!
Nice, looking forward to checking this out when I have the time for it (although of course the base game and previous DLC come first also considering that I already have them - glad I finally managed to get a physical copy of the expanded edition)!
Nice, looking forward to seeing more of this DLC - fingers crossed my copy of the base game finally arrives one of these days (luckily it's the exception as several other games I've preordered from my usual retailer here in Italy arrived in the meantime, but still)!
Makes sense that most are Switch players (unsurprisingly to me regardless of when they got it despite some people's claims that mostly if not only "hardcore fans" are getting Switch 2 now), but I'm glad to see that there's a good amount of completely new players, too - hope that more and more will eventually get and enjoy Switch 2 and the games on it, absolutely including the enhanced Switch games in addition of course to those only on the new system!
Absolutely love to see it - looking forward to seeing which other third parties end up coming to Switch 2 (can't wait to start most of the ones already out when I can and even more so since I'm loving the ones I'm currently playing, i.e. Fantasy Life i, Guardians of Azuma and Yakuza 0)!
Definitely interested in giving this a try at some point - that said, I'll play the original Biped first and foremost also considering that I've finally got it in occasion of the previous article about the sequel here on Nintendo Life (even more so since it was discounted then, costed only €2,99)!
If people keep on buying Switch like they luckily are overall still doing despite Switch 2 then I doubt they'll discontinue it anytime soon - regardless, so glad it has sold that much throughout these years (both for Nintendo, third parties releasing their games on it and players of course)!
Had no doubt that would be the case, curious to see which IPs they'll tackle next (and in what way, have my fingers crossed for more animated movies personally) - looking forward to the upcoming ones in the meantime, especially the Galaxy movie!
The NSO members would most likely be higher if more shared a family subscription with friends and acquaintances (and so paid even less for it per year as much as the individual ones are already way cheaper than on other gaming platforms as others here have already mentioned) - anyway, love to see so many who have played something on Switch 1 and/or 2 in the past year up to the end of September!
Thanks for the review, still interested in giving this a try myself when I can considering its positives and that I don't mind the negatives (the visuals even less so) to the point of completely skipping it - that said, most likely not anytime soon also considering that I haven't played Shredder’s Revenge etc. also mentioned in the article yet and I'm definitely starting with those also considering that I already have them!
Will definitely check it out even just for the play activity (wish all these app features were also on Switch, but still) - anyway, pretty cool app in general!
Unsurprising despite the limitation (fingers crossed the randomly selected drawings will eventually end), but love to see it - hope I'll be able to visit it along with Japan in general myself sooner rather than later!
@roboshort Yeah, there being way less games definitely helped regardless of it not getting a physical release in that case - glad if confirmed though, Snipperclips was pretty awesome, indeed (would also love a sequel for Switch 2 at some point)!
Surprised that this is getting a demo now but still, better late than never - happy for those interested in it (not me included since I already have the full release, as usual it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it)!
I'm not surprised at all since Nintendo delivered what most (me included) wanted first and foremost: a more powerful Switch and so capable of running the great games already on the previous system better, allow even more third-party ones to be ported to it and of course its own exclusives - speaking of, luckily Nintendo's strategy when it comes to those continues to be the same, i.e. not focusing only on big games, but keeping a steady flow of exclusives and so they most likely and hopefully will be fine unlike unfortunately others in the gaming industry!
So overall it's a pretty good if not better game for most, glad to hear that's the case - hope others going for Age of Imprisonment will overall enjoy it, too (most likely I'll quite enjoy it myself)!
@LastFootnote I wouldn't say that a Direct is unlikely considering that most major Switch 2 first-party games got at least one, but of course we'll just have to wait and see - I can see where you're coming from, but I doubt they'd show big spoilers in it anyway... and personally smaller ones would only make me want to play this more than I already am (and hopefully it could also change the opinion of those on the fence à la Bananza)!
Nice trailer - looking forward to seeing/hearing more about Prime 4 whenever they're ready to show it (most certainly there will be at the very least more trailers if not even a dedicated Direct) and then playing it as soon as my copy arrives!
If only game mechanics weren't able to be patented by anyone (speaking of, look at Konami also doing that, not just Nintendo) and so we could avoid all this, not just in this particular case but in general... that said, good that a reexamination of at least this one has been ordered - fingers crossed the patent will be rejected and Nintendo will lose this case!
Thanks for the review, was already so excited for Age of Imprisonment (unsurprisingly since I overall loved the first Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity, but still), but definitely even more so after reading this - can't wait to start it as soon as my copy arrives!
@John_Deacon I can see where you're coming from, but that's exactly why I specified Welcome Tour and Drag x Drive being digital-only - 1-2 Switch got a physical release and that most certainly helped it sell more... along with there being way less games at launch on Switch than on Switch 2 (even not counting backward compatibility although I'd say it should be included), of course!
Most certainly TCG Pocket will continue for a while then and in that sense I'm definitely glad to hear this (while those spending way too much on it beyond the stuff that gives you exclusives like the Premium Pass etc. could and should restrain themselves first and foremost) - overall it's been a lot of fun for me so far and thanks to the latest changes it became even better!
Love to hear it and absolutely deserved based on the ones I've played (and am currently playing in the case of Tactica) - looking forward to playing more Persona games in general, starting with 3 Reload when my copy arrives and after having finished the abovementioned!
Unfortunate for those who wanted to play this on Switch if confirmed - that said, so glad it's still coming to at least Switch 2 along with the other platforms, looking forward to giving it a try myself whenever it comes out (and of course as usual when I have the time for it)!
@Kwyjibo_Kitsune Maybe because the offline issues - online is a different matter, but others and I aren't particularly if at all interested in that anyway - at least on Switch 2 far from make the gameplay "broken" according to reviews including Nintendo Life's and comments on this very site (just look at the comment right above this reply for example)?
Nice to see this both as further promotion of the upcoming New Horizons update and Switch 2 upgrade and of course for the soundtrack itself - as already mentioned by others here it's a great one (and fingers crossed New Leaf eventually comes to Switch 1 and/or 2 although I'd say most likely whenever 3DS games come to NSO, doubt they'd rerelease it on its own)!
Not interested in the pass myself (and already have access to Ghouls 'n Ghosts on NSO as already mentioned here) but still, it's cool to see a Ghosts 'n Goblins collab in Street Fighter 6 - hope those going for it will enjoy it!
If you're particularly bothered by games potentially having issues at first you could and should wait before buying them - personally, if the game is overall good despite those and even more so if the fixes are coming sooner rather than later I'll still take it (and even more so since in this and other cases I'm getting games discounted by preordering them, again for those bringing up yet again the starting prices you could and should look/wait for discounts instead of focusing on those)!
As expected Switch 2 keeps on selling really well, absolutely love to see it for the sake of both Nintendo, third parties releasing their games on it and of course all those interested in the system and the games on it (absolutely me included of course) and despite the obvious decrease Switch is still selling pretty well, too - as already mentioned by others here it's yet more proof that many if not most overall enjoy it and luckily regardless of the incessant negativity about it on the internet due to the vocal minority being louder, negativity selling and so on!
An impressive line-up already and of course that's just the beginning for 2026 releases - so looking forward to all of these, obviously starting with the closest games just because I'll get to play them sooner rather than later (of course not counting potential delays like it happened to me for Legends Z-A, but luckily those are the exception)!
Wonder why Generations is absent, would've been nice to know how much that sold as well - regardless, love to see Superstars and especially Frontiers selling that much, overall quite enjoyed the former and looking forward to finally playing the latter myself (as usual already have it so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it)!
Yeah, inevitably Switch will surpass the DS for sure (if it hasn't already) even just considering how much it still sells weekly according to the Japanese charts - anyway, love to see it as it's absolutely deserved and I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually surpassed also PS2... as long as Sony doesn't "find" more of those, of course!
I mean, did anyone expect minor, digital-only titles such as Welcome Tour and Drag x Drive to sell a million or more? Maybe they could get there at some point, but definitely not so soon.
Leaving that aside, so glad that Mario Kart World (even though it isn't particularly surprising) and Bananza sold that much - of course, happy those Switch games keep on selling, too!
Most likely way too early to rate them even for most of those who got and started it day one - leaving that aside, my copy arrived today, so looking forward to starting it myself as soon as I finish III (now that I'm far in enough to say that overall it's fantastic and even more so after the Switch 2 patch, how I wish there were one for this game as well instead of a completely separate release)!
Nice, looking forward to giving this game a try even more than I already was when I can - have seen/heard elsewhere that it's an overall good if not even better game and that's of course what matters first and foremost, but I'll gladly take a Switch 2 upgrade and even more so a free one (by the way, yet again it's proven that a game being published by GameMill doesn't mean it will be automatically bad despite what some keep on claiming, obviously it depends also on other factors starting with the developers etc.)!
If not in a Direct I'd guess on Nintendo Today and/or socials - anyway, fingers crossed this ends up being confirmed, so looking forward to seeing more of the Galaxy Movie (and of course watching it next year when it comes out)!
@Solid_Python I'll check all the options available here in Italy first (including potential discounts physically and/or digitally also considering that it will take me some time to finish Yakuza 0) but yeah, I'll keep the bundle in mind for sure.

Love to hear it and even more so considering what Horii-san said, couldn't agree more with him - so glad I've finally started playing Dragon Quest myself thanks to the remake of III and funnily enough my copy of I & II arrived today (looking forward to playing also that as soon as I finish the former)!
@Solid_Python Ah, unfortunate to hear especially since I've just seen that the upgrade won't be available for the physical version unlike the similar Hogwarts Legacy, will have to give it some thought then - anyway, thanks for telling me!
Wonder what the size of the Kiwami upgrade will be for those who got the game on Switch (me included if my physical copy ever arrives) - anyway, looking forward to finally playing all these games myself when they come out... after having finished Yakuza 0 which I'm currently playing first and foremost of course!
Would Jill/Chris actually be more befitting for a collab with a metal group beyond it being for the 30th anniversary? But yeah, personally couldn't care less either way about this "controversy" - that said, I hope those interested in the substance of this collab will enjoy it!
Unsurprising since these are the UK charts and considering that I'm glad to see Legends Z-A in 2nd!
Also happy personally for Mario Kart World in 3rd, Dragon Quest I & II debuting in 6th and selling the most on Switch, Bananza in 7th, Hogwarts Legacy in 8th and selling the most on Switch, the Galaxy games in 9th, 8 Deluxe in 15th, New Horizons in 17th, Jamboree in 19th, Generations in 20th, Switch Sports in 21st, Xillia debuting in 22nd (wish it were higher) etc.!
Nice, looking forward to giving this a try myself when I can - doubt anytime soon between all the games I'm currently playing and recent/upcoming ones, absolutely including Trails in the Sky which I'm starting as soon as I have a free slot in my gaming schedule in addition to the ones I need for the games I simply can't not start immediately like Nintendo ones (I should finally play Ys as well at some point, but I'm starting Trails first and foremost)!
Really nice that we got another back page article and even more so considering the theme of this one - my favorite fits by Jim are Gengar and Camerupt while by Alana Florges and Eelektross (I'll be back to vote in the first poll after having finally played Legends Z-A to at least some extent, unfortunately my copy hasn't arrived yet due to a delay)!
