Jokes aside as much as I appreciate them, while one's most certainly Yoshi I wonder who will be included beyond that (could be relatively minor appearances and/or characters à la Pauline and Foreman Spike respectively) - looking forward to seeing/hearing about those potentially before the movie comes out, but for sure when I watch it myself hopefully day one!
Quite curious to see what this attraction will be - pretty nice surprise as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations (although personally I have my fingers crossed for games first and foremost, both new ones and rereleases)!
Haven't even just heard about this game before, definitely interested now that I know it exists first and foremost, it's coming also to Switch and based on the trailer - sad to hear about what Headcannon had to go through, wish them the best going forward (how I wish there were less of such issues and game developers could focus on making their games in general)!
Was already excited for FFVII Remake on Switch 2 regardless, but glad that all the reviews so far are this positive (for the reviewers themselves first and foremost, but also considering the influence they have on people and not just when it comes to what they say, unfortunately way too many still pay attention mostly if not exclusively to scores) - again, so looking forward to playing it as my first proper mainline Final Fantasy whenever my copy arrives and as soon as I have the time for it!
@Dm9982 Luckily in my case I don't suffer from motion sickness, but I'm not a fan of first person because I get more disoriented and feel less in control (as much as I've overall enjoyed Prime Remastered it absolutely applies to that as well compared to 2D Metroid) - anyway, glad to hear you ended up playing those games and enjoyed them, while not a priority I'd like to give at least some of those a try at some point!
Impressive that such a thing is possible, kudos to Xiao Ningzi for coming up with it - that said, personally I wouldn't be interested in this even if I had a PS5 and Xbox (not to mention that I'd rather get a Steam Deck successor whenever it comes out before those anyway)!
Thanks for the review, love to have further confirmation that the Switch 2 version is so good (other than of course the game itself overall beyond personal preferences, but that was already known) - so looking forward to playing it myself as my first proper mainline Final Fantasy when my copy arrives and as soon as I have the time for it!
Yeah, unfortunate but unsurprising considering everything that has already been mentioned here (them mostly selling merchandise etc. instead of games nowadays, other stores being better and so on just like GameStop itself in other regions) - that said, wish the best to those affected by this as usual!
Always nice to see games getting demos and this is certainly no exception - happy for those interested in giving Kiwami 3 a try before potentially getting it (personally, I'm getting it anyway so I'm not playing this and even more so since the save data won't be carried over... and again, I'm currently playing Yakuza 0 so I have to finish that, start and finish Kiwami 1 and 2 before this)!
Possible at some point due to the increased costs, but man would I love if Nintendo could prove those saying such things wrong yet again (so far they're the only ones not increasing the price of their latest console unlike Sony and Microsoft, just look at what Nintendo did because of the tariffs) - speaking of and again, would be great if people commented on what actually has already happened first and foremost instead of straight up hypotheticals like Furukawa-san said along with him straight up confirming based on the current situation those aspects having "no immediate impact on [Nintendo's] financial performance" as mentioned also in this article...
What a nice surprise, especially Dixie as while I could see a Switch 2 update coming at some point I certainly didn't expect her to be added - looking forward to all this whenever I replay Returns (most likely only when its time comes for my channel, I played and finished it on my own not that long ago)!
Since I've finally finished the game I could take part in this myself (we'll see if I actually end up doing so or I just focus on completing Sublayer 10 next time I play) - anyway, glad to see these events continuing for those interested in them!
Forgot about this game, nice reminder other than yet another reason for me to give it a try at some point - also, glad to see another game getting a Switch 2 Edition in general (even more so since the upgrade is free although it existing is what matters first and foremost)!
Oof having to deal with such a thing as soon as he got the job (and yeah, it's baffling that happened in the first place despite the popularity of Pokémon even back in the day) - anyway, thanks Reggie for sharing this, it's always interesting learning more about games including stuff like this!
Not gonna lie, my first thought was "Can Bowser please convince Hasbro to let Larian port Baldur's Gate 3 to Switch 2?" (most likely not but still, couldn't help thinking that) - anyway, good luck to both!
Love to hear it for those already playing Ball X Pit and looking forward to doing so myself at some point even more than I already was - quite curious to see what else they have in store beyond this, too!
As of course most have already mentioned fingers crossed we'll get more enhancements for Nintendo's games on Switch 2 (doesn't matter if free or paid depending on what gets added just like they've been doing, what's important is that they make them happen and the same applies to third parties) - by the way, I'm also glad that this video highlights these games and so also Gameshare, such an underrated feature!
Nice that another Zelda soundtrack is now on Nintendo Music no matter if it's Phantom Hourglass considering what has already been mentioned here about it for better or worse - anyway, fingers crossed the game itself eventually comes to NSO whenever DS games are added to it (in general and also personally since I've played it but never finished it)!
Not watching the video fully since it's relatively extensive footage, but it still looks great (and not just visually as much as that of course stands out) - haven't played the previous Planet of Lana yet so I have to catch up on that first but still, looking forward to this one coming out!
Unfortunate to hear and even more so considering that the 3DS Sonic Boom games were overall better compared to the Wii U versions based on what I've seen and heard (haven't played either yet myself) in addition of course to the other games mentioned in the article and comments - anyway, wish the best to those affected by this as usual!
Glad there will still be a couple of updates to further improve the game before the team gets disbanded (personally would've loved DLC, but at the same time I respect the decision) - anyway, happy for those already playing Air Riders and looking forward to doing so myself when I can!
Unfortunately it shows as the original Pokémon games are infamous for stuff like Ghost-type moves having no effect on Psychic despite strategy guides, the anime and even text in the games themselves saying that they're super effective, MissingNo. etc. - that said, man am I glad they made them as they're still fun regardless of that and so started the series as a whole (and as of course others have already mentioned fingers crossed they get rereleased on Switch 1 and 2 through NSO or whatever else, there's a genuine chance it could happen since they came to Virtual Console for the 20th anniversary and this year it's the 30th)!
Glad that people living in those countries can now get Nintendo Today (don't particularly use it myself since it's exclusively on phone and tablet, but still) - it's always great to see Nintendo products being made available elsewhere, fingers crossed they continue doing that like they've been recently!
This is one of the few Resident Evil games if not the only one I've never even just heard of before - nice to learn about it in occasion of its 20th anniversary (glad to hear others here in the comments enjoyed it more)!
Got the New Horizons upgrade as soon as it came out, will eventually get Beyblade, MIO, Trails beyond the Horizon, Rumble Fish 2 (voting for the games up to here in the poll) and Cassette Boy for sure, most likely also Overrogue and that should be it!
Thanks for the review, this piqued my interest when it was shown during a Direct so I'm glad to hear it's great (and I definitely don't mind the "familiarity", in fact I wonder if I'll enjoy MIO more than Hollow Knight and/or Silksong thanks to how the runbacks work etc. according to this although I'm still giving those a try when I can) - happy for those going for it, absolutely me included at some point!
As expected but still, love to see it (as in also having the actual numbers, always appreciate that about the Japanese charts) - personally happy for all the games mentioned here along with Switch 1 and 2 of course and fingers crossed they all keep on selling, especially those that haven't sold over 1 million yet!
Fingers crossed we'll see an improvement or at least not a further worsening to Nintendo of America (and unfortunately more often than not consequently Nintendo of Europe), their censorship including straight up banning games, again despite them being rated without issues and so ironically coming out on PlayStation while in the relatively recent past it was the opposite, is the antithesis of this speech - that said, good luck Devon Pritchard!
@ATMVF They're definitely not my preference still and I'm absolutely avoiding those focused on disturbing aspects as those are what affects me the most, but I'm interested in giving some horror games at least a try when I can - in that sense (other than of course considering how good it is based on what I've seen and heard) Resident Evil 4 seems like a great starting point thanks to its mix of action and horror... even more so now that I think about it considering my relatively little experience with House of the Dead (2 in particular if I recall correctly) in arcades back in the day, didn't particularly mind that!
Even more than because of the update to New Horizons I wonder if this is a consequence of the one to the "shared commitment to safer gaming", if that's the case it isn't promising at all - the silver lining is that only the dream address got deleted, not the island in itself and the videos about it haven't been taken down (for now, but you never know in the future when it comes to such mechanisms as shown by this very case)...
Waiting for official confirmation even though this is more likely than not, but great to hear - as already mentioned here fingers crossed the rest of the REmakes comes to Switch 2, too (as for which of those and Resident Evil games in general I might play myself we'll see, for now I'm starting with 4 for sure when I have the time for it)!
Makes sense considering the free update and Switch 2 Edition but still, love to see New Horizons in 2nd and even more so since these are the UK charts (in the Japanese ones it's regularly at least in the top 10)!
Also personally happy to see Mario Kart World still in 1st, Clair Obscur still in 3rd, Legends Z-A in 4th, 8 Deluxe in 7th, Cyberpunk back in 9th (bet it was on sale), The Witcher III in 11th, Bananza still in 12th, Switch Sports still in 13th, Jamboree in 15th, Trails Beyond the Horizon debuting in 16th, the Galaxy bundle in 17th, Wonder in 18th, Elden Ring in 20th etc.!
"Too often, though, the discourse felt less like measured appraisal and more like performative dunking", couldn't agree more and unfortunately it far from applies to only Prime 4, that happens all the time nowadays (in the case of YouTube "critiques" etc. more often than not just because negativity sells) - it's one of the many reasons why I constantly warn against binary thinking and encourage measure in both assessment and even more so behavior and I'm sorry, while there certainly are those excessive in their positive appraisal way more often it's the other way around, especially when it comes to rudeness if not straight up aggressiveness as proven yet again by this very comment section...
Doubt I'll particularly mind Sol Valley, the NPCs etc. myself when I finally play this myself, but about the latter it's worth mentioning that it's far from the first time it happened in Metroid games although in different ways and to varying extents and especially more recent ones so my guess is that the criticism about the latter is in part genuinely due to the execution in itself, but in part also due to people's preferences for the earlier titles which is perfectly fine as long as again they're measured as abovementioned!
Europe/Japan for me without a doubt as it shows also the protagonist along with the other character and not just the latter like North America does (and as cool as the art itself is it makes more difficult to see what that character looks like) - in addition and as already mentioned in the article, the former is the typical Final Fantasy box art so you can immediately tell that it's a game in that series, too!
I guess several people didn't notice it in the body of the review based on the comments last time but yes, it was already mentioned there (regardless of stable 30fps being PJ's choice) - we'll see which option I end up going for also according to playing in docked and/or handheld, but man am I glad such a toggle is available so everyone can choose their preferred one!
Nintendo is undoubtedly overprotective of their IPs as shown by this silly instance and unfortunately also way more serious ones, but at the same time they did let the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Cadence of Hyrule etc. happen (and in the past also questionable collabs like the CD-i games for example which I bet contributed to this attitude of theirs) - as much as I wish they were better like I said so many times before, I can't help but feel that as usual some are so fixated on the negatives to the point that they completely disregard the positives...
On the one hand I appreciate the jokes about it here, but on the other hand man am I glad this happened to such a game and not something most would actually want to buy (I feel for the few who genuinely wanted to get it for some reason or another although I'd recommend playing it through other means anyway) - regardless of the game, this absolutely shouldn't be a reason for its price to increase!
By the way since the topic has been brought up, videogames can absolutely coexist with doing well in school, learning to play an instrument and/or developing art skills and so on - in fact, it's exactly thanks to them first and foremost along with manga, anime etc. that I put even more effort in my studies since I got additional games by doing so as a kid (although overall learning new things through studying interested me in itself anyway), started studying Japanese which has now become my field of study to the point that I got a master's in it and hopefully will be my job as a private teacher both in a more traditional way and by using videogames on my YouTube channel, learned to play the guitar... not developing art skills in my case as I've always sucked at that but others absolutely did so, just look at this article about Player’s Pulse art here on Nintendo Life for example!
These would be great for my niece (other than of course as collectibles for me, let's be honest) - definitely getting them myself if I can eventually find them here in Italy or at least import them without excessively increasing their cost!
Love to see such games getting included in Yakuza games (would be great if they were rereleased also separately of course, but still) and even more so in the case of this one since I've never even just heard of it - looking forward to giving them all at least a try whenever I play Kiwami 3 myself!

Thanks for the review, glad to hear that these are so good for those interested in a third-party pad (personally, I'll go for a Pro Controller 2 first and foremost to have all the functions, but I'll keep them in mind)!
Unfortunate to hear although unsurprising considering their focus and even more so being under Meta - anyway, wish the best to those affected by this as usual!
Love to hear it, deserved based on what I've seen and heard of it (haven't played it myself as I'm not particularly interested in it personally, but still) - fingers crossed the sequel eventually comes to Switch 2, too!

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift (DS)
Re: Random: Nintendo Apparently Wasn't Happy About Sonic's Foot Being In Front Of Mario's Foot
@Metazoxan Yep, couldn't agree more!
Re: PSA: Dynasty Warriors: Origins On Switch 2 Includes A Variable Frame Rate Option
Re: Random: Nintendo Apparently Wasn't Happy About Sonic's Foot Being In Front Of Mario's Foot
Re: Random: Disney's Terrible DS Game 'Cory In The House' Is Now Selling For Hundreds Of Dollars On eBay
Re: Nintendo's 'My Mario' Toy Line Adds Three Fisher-Price Playsets
Re: Nintendo's 'My Mario' Toy Line Adds Three Fisher-Price Playsets
These would be great for my niece (other than of course as collectibles for me, let's be honest) - definitely getting them myself if I can eventually find them here in Italy or at least import them without excessively increasing their cost!
Re: Sega Confirms Another Retro Arcade Game For Yakuza Kiwami 3
Love to see such games getting included in Yakuza games (would be great if they were rereleased also separately of course, but still) and even more so in the case of this one since I've never even just heard of it - looking forward to giving them all at least a try whenever I play Kiwami 3 myself!

Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Re: Review: Gulikit TT Pro / TT Max Controllers For Switch 1 & 2 - The New Standard For Third-Party Pads
Thanks for the review, glad to hear that these are so good for those interested in a third-party pad (personally, I'll go for a Pro Controller 2 first and foremost to have all the functions, but I'll keep them in mind)!
Re: Armature Studio, Founded By Metroid Prime Devs, Has Been Shut Down
@Olliemar28 There's a typo when you can fix it, "It soon ventured into the world of VR and was acquire".
Re: Armature Studio, Founded By Metroid Prime Devs, Has Been Shut Down
Unfortunate to hear although unsurprising considering their focus and even more so being under Meta - anyway, wish the best to those affected by this as usual!
Re: The Marvellous 'Ace Combat 7' Has Sold 7 Million Copies In 7 Years
@Olliemar28 There's a typo when you can fix it, "Bandai Namco confirmed the game had sold 6 million unir".
Re: The Marvellous 'Ace Combat 7' Has Sold 7 Million Copies In 7 Years
Love to hear it, deserved based on what I've seen and heard of it (haven't played it myself as I'm not particularly interested in it personally, but still) - fingers crossed the sequel eventually comes to Switch 2, too!
