Pretty cool that they included different kinds of brush weapons - nice assortment in general (in particular it's appreciated to see Wart getting a figure as already mentioned here), happy for those going for any of these!
Love to hear it and nice picture with Metal Sonic (looks really nice) - I should finally watch the previous movies also to potentially see this one at the cinema!
It's certainly possible that both will arrive on Switch 2 this year, but we'll see - my guess is that even if they already know more or less when they could release them they're waiting for the next Direct to announce it (especially in the case of Duskbloods since it's an exclusive)!
@Gandleforth Glad to hear you've been enjoying it - also considering that most likely I'll enjoy it as well whenever I play it myself (other than of course being a fan of the Indiana Jones movies, especially the classic ones, etc.)!
Practically anything is "controversial" for one reason or another these days - leaving that general nonsense aside, I couldn't agree more about what's mentioned in the article and regardless, so looking forward to playing First Light myself when it comes to Switch 2 (and in the meantime hear how the full release of the game is when it comes out on other platforms)!
Love to hear these games are coming also to Switch 1 and 2 (as usual would be great if there were an upgrade from the former to the latter) - definitely playing them myself now that I'll be able to thanks to this!
Don't think we've seen Mildes in trailers before (for sure we knew they were in the game thanks to the box art), nice and also cool to see new creatures and more interactions with returning ones - looking forward to this game even more than I already was!
Thanks for the review, too bad the Switch version has so many issues - I'll wait to see how the Switch 2 one ends up being (it got delayed, most likely for this very reason) and if that is hopefully much better then I'll eventually give this game a try!
Good luck to those applying for this position - looking forward to seeing what other movies Nintendo and co. come up with (and before that of course the upcoming Zelda one)!
Great article Alana, thanks for sharing your experiences and memories - can't comment much about real-life photography (I personally suck at it, but of course I still have many photos taken by family, friends etc.) while I couldn't agree more with you about the Pokémon Snap games in general and especially what you mentioned about the original!
Unfortunate to hear, will consider getting it before it gets delisted (would've been great had it been further discounted as its all time low is €11,99 according to Deku Deals, but I'm glad it's not straight up at full price now at least) - will look up if it runs better on Switch 2 before doing so although I might get it anyway!
... I was wondering why people were mentioning the physical version, checked it out and apparently the American version is on cartridge (the European ones are all code-in-box based on what I've seen) - Italian Amazon has it so more likely than not I'll actually go for that!
Looking forward to seeing what others here think about this game and version so far (doubt most will have finished it unless they've already played it on other platforms) - regardless, excited to finally playing it myself when I can!
Not particularly surprising, so many games use Unreal Engine in general and now 5 in particular (and yes, this further suggests that the developer is Good-Feel) - regardless, so looking forward to this game!
Downloading the update immediately (don't think I've encountered any of these bugs myself luckily, but I'd rather not risk it) - as already mentioned, fingers crossed they'll eventually add contents to make Tomodachi Life even better than it already is for many, absolutely me included!
Wouldn't be surprised if it were related to the upcoming Yoshi game not only in the obvious way (the title says it all), but also them releasing a smaller soundtrack this week because they're preparing to release at least part of the new game's OST next week - anyway, I'm also happy about it in general especially considering that the composer is Masuda-san as mentioned in the article and also personally since it's quite nostalgic for me, I had the NES game as a kid!
Most likely I won't go for it myself then, unfortunate especially considering the minifigures and items (how I wish those were available also separately) - anyway, hope those interested in it will be able to get it in time!
Love to hear it for both Square Enix themselves and of course us Switch 2 players - so looking forward to playing all the games mentioned in the article myself (starting one as soon as I finish playing Dragon Quest III, still not sure if I'll continue with Dragon Quest I & II or start Final Fantasy VII Remake) and seeing what else they will bring to the system in the future... as already mentioned here I also really hope we'll eventually get native ports of Kingdom Hearts, in general and personally to finally play that series myself beyond the original Chain of Memories!
@MyUsernameWasTaken Couldn't agree more and that's why in my small way I try to counter that along with straight up lies etc. first and foremost (nobody is perfect me included, but that's what I strive to do) - it's really bad even just when it comes to things like videogames, not to mention even more serious topics...
The concept is really interesting on paper, fingers crossed it will be great also in execution - definitely interested in seeing/hearing more of it and then potentially playing it myself (so glad it's coming also to Switch 2)!
Already got the code for Outbound digitally as I've supported it on Kickstarter, will eventually get Sektori for sure, most likely also R-Type Dimensions III (physically so I also have more time to decide between the Switch 1 and 2 versions), maybe also Smalland and that should be it!
Love to see Tomodachi Life selling that much in Japan although Pokopia's sales are nothing to sneeze at, either! Also personally happy to see World in 3rd, Momotaro Dentetsu in 4th, Pragmata in 5th, the Galaxy bundle in 7th, New Horizons in 8th and 9th (so actually below World when combining its sales on Switch 1 and 2), Ultimate in 10th and of course Switch 2 on top of the hardware charts but still followed by Switch, the OLED one this week!
Glad also the physical releases are coming sooner rather than later - definitely getting it that way myself at some point (an Italian copy including the original English audio first and foremost and then a Japanese one, too)!
Thanks for the review, even more interested in giving this at least a try myself at some point (especially considering that I've never played Geometry Wars) - regardless, glad to hear it's so good in general and also on Switch 2 specifically!
So all the human creativity still displayed in games etc. that partially use genAI (and before that used stock assets etc.) shouldn't exist?
Should companies like Larian shut down exclusively because of that reason, even more so despite them using it just to "explore references" etc. and especially being hiring more artist including concept ones?
I'm sorry, but like most things in life I heavily disagree that it has to be all black and white - that only leads to extremism, aggressiveness and in the worst cases even violence instead of bringing more and more people together to try to counter at the very least the biggest issues most could agree upon, in this specific case I'd say the replacement of human workers first and foremost...
Even mix - actually, last time I've checked more digital despite having so many physical games - and while I prefer physical when available as long as I can play the games I want, I'm happy because that's what matters the most to me (and clearly also the silent majority as shown by sales)... and I'm not voting in the last poll as while I'd rather not see a fully digital future way too many forget the disadvantages of a fully physical one!
Yet another port further proving that so many games can come to Switch 2 with great results if properly optimized - anyway, so looking forward to finally being able to play Great Circle myself thanks to this version when I can (already got a physical copy)!
Definitely watching the MinnMax video when I have the time for it - anyway, glad to hear those mentioned here enjoyed Mina so much, looking forward to giving it a try myself when I can (will receive a digital copy since I've supported it on Kickstarter)!
Would be great if this delay somehow meant that they're working also on a Switch 2 upgrade instead of just a separate version - anyway, looking forward to seeing how this game ends up being (fingers crossed for the best in general and also personally since I'm potentially interested in it myself)!
Jack Bros. is definitely the highlight among these, but glad we got also the remaining ones and 5 (6 in Japan and so also for me) games at once - looking forward to giving them all a try myself when I can!
Not surprised at all but still, love to hear it - even more so considering which games they included in the "leading brands", looking forward to Ace Attorney (now that they've rereleased almost all past games it's time for a new one), Ōkami and Mega Man the most personally but also everything else whenever they're ready!
Looking forward to seeing if any of these end up being confirmed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they took inspiration from Ocarina first and foremost (and even more so if the remaining game leaks end up being confirmed) - regardless, can't wait for more official information whenever they're ready!
Nice that it's coming slightly earlier and even more so that we now have a precise release date - looking forward to seeing and hearing more of it whenever they're ready (by the way, why not wait even just for trailers instead of automatically hating on it?) and then most likely watching the full movie when it comes out!
Other aspects of games interest me more than graphics in the first place (contents, gameplay, music etc.), but even leaving that aside I couldn't agree more - that said, I'm glad that there are also games and systems with such a focus, the variety in gaming which makes it appealing to practically all kinds of people is one of the many reasons why I love it so much!
Drug dealers will never stop reaching lower lows, but that's not surprising considering what they're doing in the first place...
Really hope nobody ingested these by mistake while shame on those voluntarily taking these and other drugs - it's the same as for scalpers (but of course a way more serious matter in this case), if only people didn't buy from them!
Fingers crossed this will be another overall good Harvest Moon by Natsume like their actual latest one, Winds of Anthos - if that ends up being the case then I'm interested in playing it myself at some point (the latest games by Marvelous are my priority also considering that I already have them, currently playing Guardians of Azuma and after that Grand Bazaar)!
@MADLUDWIG11 I can see where you're coming from, but I'd say it was still worth mentioning considering people's reaction to its technically limited availability (luckily not in practice both in the sense you mentioned and of course other kinds of bundles coming after it, ironically now one potentially including Mario Kart) - haven't paid too much attention since I got a Switch 2 at launch myself, but based on what I've heard it's still available here in Italy, too!
Thought from the start when they showed it that this is a good idea if they want to revive Star Fox (and if that's successful then finally release a brand new game, fingers crossed that will happen) and honestly won't say no to better graphics and especially quality-of-life features, additional contents etc. - won't replay the original before the remake just because I'll play the older Star Fox games in order for my channel, in fact around the release of this I'd like to tackle the first Super Famicom/SNES game and even more so since I've barely played that myself unlike 64!
