@SalvorHardin In the '90s the Capcom versus series started, same kind of wording (just with vs. instead of x) and you could apply the same reasonings to it and yet those games were and still are overall beloved as shown by both critical and fan reactions to the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection - you do you, but many if not most appreciate collabs/crossovers to this day and that's exactly why they keep on happening...

Still on the smaller side especially compared to games by other companies, but bigger than other Switch 2 games by Nintendo (I bet because of the voices first and foremost etc.) - as usual yet another reason for me to get this physically, in particular I went for the collector's!
I'm voting for North America/Japan because it shows more of the background and so the setting along with the hands of the titular specter - I appreciate Europe showing some of the puzzles, but those are in all Professor Layton games while the abovementioned are aspects specific to this game (other than of course the former showing more of the beautiful art as already mentioned here)!
Glad that after the rough start here in the comments several people are potentially interested in this (and yes, as already mentioned it's weird after Netflix Castlevania and DMC) - hope this will also be great for those interested in watching it!

Yep, luckily just like other games by Rare (and also from time to time other companies) on N64 and GameCube this has native widescreen - don't think I've ever played it this way myself, I'll have to remember it whenever I replay it for my channel!

Still on the smaller side especially compared to games by other companies, but bigger than other Switch 2 games by Nintendo (I bet because of the voices first and foremost etc.) - as usual yet another reason for me to get this physically, in particular I went for the collector's!

I'm voting for North America/Japan because it shows more of the background and so the setting along with the hands of the titular specter - I appreciate Europe showing some of the puzzles, but those are in all Professor Layton games while the abovementioned are aspects specific to this game (other than of course the former showing more of the beautiful art as already mentioned here)!

Had no doubt there would be a Diablo 5 eventually but still, nice that it's now confirmed - not interested in playing it myself, but I'm still curious to see and hear about it (and of course happy for those who are excited for it, most certainly including my friends and in particular one who's a big fan of this series)!

@asdfghjklz Fantasy Life i came out way after Level 5's slideshow document submitted to a Japanese government study group so it's possible that they used it for that as well even though it isn't among the shown examples - even leaving that aside you said it yourself, it was used for sure in Victory Road and yet the game still sold well...

Yep, saw it when I watched the Japanese Direct on stream last night - glad that at least Japan keeps on getting such bundles as they also got a Raiders one etc. (would be great if they were as frequent elsewhere, too)!

Glad a restock is already confirmed in the UK (also in Italy as I've just seen on the Italian Nintendo Store so most likely Europe in general as usual) - fingers crossed those genuinely interested in any of these products will be able to get them sooner rather than later there or elsewhere!

@the_beaver What is officially confirmed is what they've shown in a slideshow document submitted to a Japanese government study group, what Hino-san mentioned in not one, but two interviews (maybe even more, but these are the ones that come to mind here on Nintendo Life) and its usage in making an April Fools' video - I hope those for whom it isn't automatically a black and white matter will consider all that first and foremost...

Overall great list, noticed most of these details myself (the Iron Boots for example even before that moment thanks to the equipment menu, interestingly enough there are 2 spots for each button there) while some I definitely missed - considering all that has been shown other than of course it being Ocarina I'm so excited for it!

Yep, luckily just like other games by Rare (and also from time to time other companies) on N64 and GameCube this has native widescreen - don't think I've ever played it this way myself, I'll have to remember it whenever I replay it for my channel!
