By the way, why not consider that each game has its own strength and weaknesses and so it's just a matter of taste instead of it being (objectively as that's what's more often than not implied if not explicited) "better", "under/overrated" and so on? Luckily there is at least some nuance in some comments here, but unfortunately way too often that's not the case...
Again, too bad the preview was limited to the multiplayer component because while that's great for those interested in it as shown by most of these previews it's the single player that might convince those on the fence to get it - personally, I'm interested in this as a whole so I'm glad to hear that most enjoyed that part (other than of course for the sake of those who took part in this)!
Pretty cool although yeah, it's clearly exclusively for business owners to purchase considering the price (happy for those who'll be able to play it whenever one becomes available at a business near them) - as for the Pokémon Pinball videogames, fingers crossed we'll get the old ones on NSO sooner rather than later and hopefully at some point a new one, too!
By the way, usually I mention whatever game I'll play for my Sunday stream only the next week to show what I did (and also considering that I'm tight on space for my comments as is), but this time it's worth mentioning that unless plans change I'm playing the Pragmata Sketchbook demo - if you're wondering why someone voted for Pragmata that's why!
... Now there are multiple votes for it so others must be playing the demo this weekend, nice!
Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Fitness Boxing (3, did the daily workout once; 3 did 4 Box-and-Bond for Lin - FotNS did Battle Mode);
Ring Fit Adventure (did 1 level and 1 mission of World 13; 8 Worlds completed and 5 finished);
GameCenter CX (continued the 8th game, arrived at the next dungeon; first GameCenter CX and 7 Games of the second one completed, second GameCenter CX 2 Games finished);
Freedom Planet 2 (did 1 stage as Milla; Story as Lilac and Carol - 25/63 Badges);
Dragon Quest III (barely started the postgame, arrived at the next dungeon; game finished, 18 Dungeons, 102 Mini Medals);

Soul Calibur II (completed Chapter 8 in Weapon Master; Arcade as 1 character - Weapon Master finished, 7 Chapters and 3 Sub-Chapters completed);

Pac-Man World 2 (completed 1 level; 5 Worlds, 24 Levels and 13 Mazes completed);

Trails in the Sky 1st (went around Rolent and did the currently available requests; Junior Bracer Rank 9 10/30, 2/?? Requests - Rewards 7/??, Achievements 2/43 - Standard Menu 1/28);
on YouTube Mario Party Superstars (played Space Land 20 turns offline);
Mario Advance 2 (played most of World 1; World 1 /04)!
Keeps on looking great and not just when it comes to the beautiful visuals - absolutely interested in it myself (have to play the previous game before this one also considering that I already have it, but still)!
Yeah, we're obviously getting closer and closer to Splatoon 4 (along with the already at least announced Raiders, wouldn't be surprised if we got the latter this year and the former the next) and so there will be less and less people available for even just such updates for 3 - glad they'll at least rerun previous events going forward for those interested in them!
Guessed it was the evolution of Pro Evolution Soccer considering it's by Konami, didn't know it's a spin-off - seems like it could be overall good based on what they've shown and now also what's mentioned in this very article, fingers crossed that ends up being the case for those interested in it (not particularly me included, but still)!
So glad Arise is finally coming also to Switch 2 - absolutely looking forward to it (we'll see when I play it also considering that I haven't properly played any Tales of games yet and I should start with one of those I already have on Switch)!
Always love to see games not stuck exclusively on mobile and/or getting rid of gacha microtransactions and this is certainly no exception, even more so considering those who worked on it - absolutely looking forward to playing it myself at some point (how I wish Chrono Trigger and Xenogears also came to Switch and so I could finally play those, too)!
We'll see which option I end up going for when I play it myself, most likely the 120fps one (wouldn't get the most out of 4K anyway since my portable monitor is up to 1440p) - anyway, looking forward to giving Hollow Knight a try when I can even more than I already was after this!
So glad such a collection is coming also to Switch at least in Japan - absolutely getting it myself, if I can by importing a physical copy (wish it got an English release for those who don't know Japanese, but unfortunately I have doubts that will ever happen or at the very least anytime soon for the reasons already mentioned by others here)!
Honestly, this is quite interesting in a sense as I don't think I've ever seen an update with such patch notes - curious to learn what this did in practice if someone finds out (and regardless, looking forward to replaying these games thanks to this rerelease whenever their time comes for my channel)!
Didn't know that this was a completely new game, pretty cool - fingers crossed it will be good if not better for those interested in it (potentially me included although I should give the original Turoks at least a try first and foremost)!
Always glad when publishers offer such an option (kudos to Bandai Namco for doing at least this once more unlike unfortunately others) - definitely getting the Switch 1 physical and then upgrade!
Unfortunate to hear here in the comments that despite being on top here Code Vein II isn't selling well in general - wonder if a Switch 2 version could help to an extent (but of course they should improve a potential sequel if it ever happens)... Anyway, personally happy for Mario Kart World in 2nd, New Horizons in 3rd and 4th, Legends Z-A in 5th and 7th, Momotaro Dentetsu in 6th and 10th, Air Riders in 8th, FF7 Remake in 9th and of course Switch 2 on top of the hardware charts and still selling incredibly well and that's despite the lower sales of the games in this period!
Will wait to see/hear how the full release runs as this could be, and apparently is based on an event build, just an older version, but if even now the issues are mostly if not exclusively in handheld then I'll just play it docked - anyway, not sure if I'll have the time for the demo, but I'm looking forward to playing this game at some point (most likely not anytime soon considering I haven't played the previous Stories games yet and I should play those first and foremost)!
Glad for those playing Dreamlight Valley that it's getting a Switch 2 upgrade and a free one at that - haven't played it myself yet, but I'd like to do so at some point and even more so after this!
And this is exactly why despite my preference for fully or at least partially physical like luckily Indiana Jones here I've never been as against Game-Key Cards as most here, you can do worse starting with code-in-box (i.e. digital in a box and so you can't resell, freely share and it's tied to a single account) - that said, digital-only unlike cloud etc. is certainly not enough of a reason for me to completely skip a game, still looking forward to all the games mentioned although I'll just get them on the eShop considering this!
My favorite announcements as in the biggest surprises other than me personally liking them were Paranormasight, Super Bomberman Collection (shoutout also to the Goemon collection in the Japanese version, looking forward to seeing what else they announced there when I watch it tomorrow for my channel), Kyoto Xanadu, Console Archives and last but certainly not least Oblivion Remastered - considering those surprises and the variety not only when it comes to the games themselves, but also as in getting completely new announcements, day-and-date releases, ports, shadowdrops, retro collections, Switch 2 Editions etc. I'd rate it 9 - Excellent!
Will definitely give this at least a try when I can now that it's coming also to Switch 1 and 2 - so glad there's also an update from the former to the latter (the technical modes are obviously welcome as well, most likely I'll go for Performance personally)!
Makes sense to have such a starting price and storage requirement for this game (nice that there's already a discount on the UK eShop, can confirm that it's present also on the Italian one and so most likely Europe in general, €47,99 instead of €59,99) - regardless, absolutely grabbing Rebirth on Switch 2 myself when I can and so glad it's coming so soon!
Quite curious to give Granblue Fantasy in general and this one in particular a try now that I finally can thanks to it coming also to Switch 2 - so glad we're getting more and more games and series on Nintendo platforms thanks to this system!
It's great but also hilarious that Capcom's support of Switch 2 includes amiibo - will try to get them both (as usual for the figures themselves first and foremost although the in-game unlockables are nice, glad they're just a cosmetics)!
@kirby2000 Haven't tested it myself (not just for these games, in general) but yes, you should be able to - you can find the steps on how to do so in general here!
Not sure if I'll give this a try or not myself (so many games, so little time and this isn't a priority for me compared to other games in general and even just ones shown in this very Partner Direct) but regardless, glad it's coming also to Switch 2!
Certainly didn't see a new Paranormasight coming (and yeah, even more so considering what Square Enix said about such smaller projects), but I'm so glad it's happening for those interested - potentially me included despite the horror elements of this and even more so the first one, could play them in that order and see how it goes!
Glad this now has a release date and it keeps on looking great based on the trailer (in addition to what we've seen and heard before, including Nintendo Life's hands on) - absolutely playing it myself when I can!
Absolutely love its visuals and based on what we've seen it seems fun, too - not sure when I'll be able to play it myself also considering that it's co-op only, but I'm definitely interested in doing so when I can!

One of the big surprises today in general and also personally, man am I glad we're finally getting a Bomberman collection - absolutely getting this myself and even more so since I've never properly played these games (and I have my fingers crossed we'll eventually get other Bomberman collections after this one, hopefully including the 64 games if they don't let Nintendo put them on NSO)!
This was one of the biggest surprises, both in terms of the game itself and that it wasn't expected (it wasn't even in the leak mentioned earlier here on Nintendo Life) - definitely interested in it now that it's coming also to Switch 2!
Expected them to at least announce Rebirth, but I certainly didn't see it coming this soon - one more reason for me to play Remake as soon as I can (waiting to see if my current preorder arrives or not, if it takes too long I'll cancel it and then get the game elsewhere)!
Glad to finally be able to play this myself instead of having just watched a little of it at a friend's house - fingers crossed all the Switch 2 version of games by Bethesda announced today will be good, but in the meantime kudos to them for bringing so many games to the system in the first place (this is the one I was already looking forward to the most, but now I'm actually excited for all of them also personally other than of course in general)!
Yet another day-and-date release, Capcom is on fire and I love it - so glad there's now a demo (most likely the same one as on Steam?) also on Switch 2, if I have the time I'll check it out myself although most likely I'll get the full release anyway!
Love to see it coming so soon, happy for those going for it - me included after what I've heard from comments here on Nintendo Life (including but not limited to Fallout 4 having a 3rd person mode) and now this trailer, most likely not at launch but eventually for sure!
And here it is, downloading the upgrade as soon as it becomes available - looking forward to finally giving Hollow Knight a try when I can even more than I already was (and eventually also Silksong, but now that the original got a Switch 2 Edition I'm definitely starting with it)!
Fingers crossed this will be for the best (it certainly sounds like it, but we'll see) apart of course from the Switch 2 version which is undoubtedly welcome - if that ends up being the case then most likely my friends and I will also finally go back to playing Overwatch from time to time!
Overall great interview, love to hear more about this game from its creators (absolutely including a legend like Sasaki-san) - was already considering getting it myself, but after this I'm definitely doing so when I can!
Looking forward to seeing if this ends up being confirmed and if so also the accompanying footage - potentially interested in Fallout (and even more so now that I know 4 etc. had a 3rd person mode, especially if it will be good like the one in Oblivion remastered based on what comments here on Nintendo Life told me) while I'm absolutely on board for Indiana Jones!
Thanks for the review, absolutely giving this a try at some point (I should finally play the Mother games myself first and foremost though) - glad to hear it's so good and that it's now also on Switch 1 and 2!
Already have Hello Mario as I downloaded it from the Japanese eShop back then, Virtual Boy I'll automatically have as it's on NSO, will eventually get Dragon Quest VII, Mario Tennis, Kiwami 3 and Disney Afternoon (voting for all of those but Kiwami 3 in the poll also considering that I won't play that anytime soon as I'm still playing 0), maybe also the Resident Evils especially Requiem, Star Trek and that should be it!
Glad this finally has a precise release date and even more so considering how long it took to make, all the great things I've heard about it and now this trailer, too - absolutely getting it myself as soon as I can and then playing it when I have the time for it!
Certainly didn't see this coming, but I absolutely welcome it - looking forward to giving this a try now that it's coming also to Switch (I should also finally play the Sam & Max games, but we'll see which I end up playing first when I can)!
Love to hear it for those interested in it (me included, want to at least give Hollow Knight and Silksong a try when I can) - we'll see if they announce it at today's Partner Showcase or not, fingers crossed that happens!
By the way, glad the misinformation about who, how and why handled the development of Prime 4 has already been countered and thanks for all the links (in particular I'll check out the Famitsu interview in Japanese when I have the time) - how I wish people and even more so journalists, YouTubers etc. actually looked up if there's such information first and foremost, but of course negativity sells!
So after all Prime 4 already surpassed one million when combining the sales as many me included figured out while we already knew Age of Imprisonment did so before the report and as some mentioned it could be missing from that just because it's published by Koei Tecmo in Japan - anyway, glad to hear it and I hope both games keep on selling for both their creators' and players' sake (I'm already playing Age of Imprisonment and I'm loving it)!
Both 2077 and 20XX would've been also hilarious references but yeah, of course 2030 is just a placeholder - anyway, definitely interested in this title whenever it comes out, in fact I've even supported it on Kickstarter (so glad I was able to do so unlike for Shovel Knight back in the day)!

Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Switch 2 Edition + Meetup In Bellabel Park

Re: Overwatch 2 Ditches The Number In Huge Overhaul, Switch 2 Version Announced
Fingers crossed this will be for the best (it certainly sounds like it, but we'll see) apart of course from the Switch 2 version which is undoubtedly welcome - if that ends up being the case then most likely my friends and I will also finally go back to playing Overwatch from time to time!
Re: Interview: "Kids Don't Like Being Treated Like Kids" - How 4PGP Is Harnessing The Power Of Sega Rally's Director To Challenge Mario Kart
Overall great interview, love to hear more about this game from its creators (absolutely including a legend like Sasaki-san) - was already considering getting it myself, but after this I'm definitely doing so when I can!
Re: Two Big Cross Platform Switch 2 Games Might Have Leaked Ahead Of Today's Direct
Re: Review: Jimmy And The Pulsating Mass (Switch) - The Best EarthBound-Like You've Never Heard Of
Thanks for the review, absolutely giving this a try at some point (I should finally play the Mother games myself first and foremost though) - glad to hear it's so good and that it's now also on Switch 1 and 2!
Re: Video: 14 Exciting Games Coming To Switch And Switch 2 In February 2026
Already have Hello Mario as I downloaded it from the Japanese eShop back then, Virtual Boy I'll automatically have as it's on NSO, will eventually get Dragon Quest VII, Mario Tennis, Kiwami 3 and Disney Afternoon (voting for all of those but Kiwami 3 in the poll also considering that I won't play that anytime soon as I'm still playing 0), maybe also the Resident Evils especially Requiem, Star Trek and that should be it!
Re: After Multiple Delays, Cult Hit 'Caves Of Qud' Is Finally Hitting Switch This Month
Glad this finally has a precise release date and even more so considering how long it took to make, all the great things I've heard about it and now this trailer, too - absolutely getting it myself as soon as I can and then playing it when I have the time for it!
Re: Telltale's "Cult Classic" Poker Night At The Inventory Returns On Switch This March
Certainly didn't see this coming, but I absolutely welcome it - looking forward to giving this a try now that it's coming also to Switch (I should also finally play the Sam & Max games, but we'll see which I end up playing first when I can)!
Re: Hollow Knight - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Has Been Rated
Love to hear it for those interested in it (me included, want to at least give Hollow Knight and Silksong a try when I can) - we'll see if they announce it at today's Partner Showcase or not, fingers crossed that happens!
Re: Metroid Prime 4's "Combined Sales" Have Surpassed One Million, Nintendo Confirms
Re: Metroid Prime 4's "Combined Sales" Have Surpassed One Million, Nintendo Confirms
Re: PSA: No, Yacht Club's New Game Isn't Coming Out In 2030 - eShop Date Just A "Placeholder"
