Regardless of the reason (although the timing is certainly suspicious), unfortunate that these are getting delisted - luckily I already have the base game of Turbo on Switch so I only have to get the DLCs!
Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Let's Go to the City/City Folk (by the way, the former is also the Japanese name, 街へいこうよ machi e ikō yo)!
Half jokes aside, this looks great and it's nice to see Hello Kitty Island Adventure still getting such support - looking forward to playing it myself when I can even more than I already was!
As already mentioned here, it only makes sense for Nintendo (and others, they're far from the only ones) to act in this case - how I wish they exclusively did so when they are actually losing money like in this case while leaving alone everyone else with their takedowns, lawsuits and so on... just to remind people of the most ridiculous of such cases, remember when they went against a local supermarket for trademark?
Wish the best to those affected by this like usual - while unfortunately the videogame industry as a whole currently has issues, this live-service, free-to-play etc. model certainly doesn't help (as further shown by this already happening at Epic Games in 2023)...
Nice that Champions has now a precise release date and even more so since it's so soon - while battles don't interest me as much as other aspects of Pokémon games I'll definitely give it at least a try when I can and regardless, glad there's finally such a game officially for those who wanted it!
Wish Pokopia didn't have stock issues in the UK, but glad to see it in 6th this week despite that and good for Crimson Desert that it debuted on top!
Also personally happy for Mario Kart World in 3rd, Requiem in 4th, Wilds higher in 7th, Legends Z-A in 9th, New Horizons in 12th, Bananza in 13th, immediately after that Split Fiction, Skywalker Saga and CrossWorlds back to the charts (guess they were on sale), 8 Deluxe in 18th, the Galaxy bundle in 20th etc.!
Nice to hear your first impressions of Tomodachi Life in general as it's your first time playing it and in particular Living the Dream, Alana - personally, I'm a big fan of the 3DS game so I absolutely can't wait (and luckily won't have to do so for long since it's less than a month away) to start this sequel as soon as my copy arrives!
As already mentioned in the Nintendo Switch 2 forum, Mochizuki is a questionable "journalist" no matter if he somehow still writes for Bloomberg so I'm waiting to hear from more reliable sources if not straight up official confirmation - even leaving that aside, I'd rather stick to actual data in general (and when it comes to Switch 2 that keeps on telling us that it's selling incredibly well globally and especially in Japan) and even when it comes to the US specifically we've just seen the February charts with Mario Tennis Fever on top of the Nintendo ones and 11th in the general ones and "[w]ith nine months in market, the life-to-date installed base of Nintendo Switch 2 is trending 45% ahead of the original Nintendo Switch (November 2017 was the ninth month in market for Nintendo Switch)."...
Glad that both Nintendo in general and Switch in particular, the latter especially among teens, are so popular in Japan based on this survey and even more so the Japanese charts - as for me, I've been a big Nintendo (and also videogames as a whole, but that's besides the point) fan practically for my whole life and I absolutely love the Switch family of systems!
Less options is not a good thing in general and in particular now the Switch 2 version of this is exclusively digital - even more so considering this, fingers crossed there will be an upgrade (as for the game in itself I need to see and hear more about it, but potentially it could interest me)!
As usual for me it will be a case by case matter, we've already seen examples of the games themselves and even more so their creators not being negatively affected by AI usage unlike others misusing it and that's what matters the most to me followed by transparency in its usage so that people can make informed purchases no matter their opinion etc. (one of the biggest examples when it comes to both aspects being Larian and I'm saying that despite not being interested in most of their games personally) - but of course everything always has to be black and white...
Overall great article and way to celebrate the 30th anniversary, hopefully it will be useful for those interested in playing Resident Evil for the first time - personally, I was already planning on starting with 4 when I can (and based on how that goes for me then I'll consider playing other games in the series)!
@romanista That depends on how they implemented it - I'd say no or at least not particularly so based on the trailer, but we'll see (and in general I'd still take such additional contents over not having them personally).
Happy 30th anniversary Biohazard/Resident Evil - while I haven't played any of these games myself yet (looking forward to finally give at least some a try despite horror not being my cup of tea, starting with 4) some of these villains are so famous that even I already know of them and so I'm picking my favorites among those: Wesker, Salazar and Dimitrescu!
Love to see another videogame-themed Picross coming and even more so since it's a Konami one (so cool to include a music player, too) - absolutely getting and playing it myself at some point!
North America for me as it has also Wesker and still some background similar to the Japanese box art - while the zombie in Claire's eyes effect is cool the European one is a no for me, the close-up is excessive so you can't even fully see her (other than of course missing out on the other elements)!
Nice, happy for Minecraft fans (pretty cool that it's now getting even a theme park) - the highlight for me is Minecraft Dungeons II as I'm potentially interested in giving that a try myself... have my fingers crossed for a Switch 2 version of Minecraft itself, though!
Personally, I'm all for such Angry Birds collabs in games published and/or developed by SEGA as they're fun additions (although I agree that a collection of their own games would be great, too) - one more reason for me to give Two Point Museum a try at some point!
Love to hear all these games got compatibility fixes in general and also personally (several I haven't played yet or I'd like to eventually replay for my channel, A Hat In Time and Return to Dream Land respectively for example) - fingers crossed this continues so that even more games will work as intended also on Switch 2 and so benefit from its increased power now including Handheld Mode Boost, too!
Curious to see what this DLC will end up being - in the meantime looking forward to the base game, so glad it's now coming also to Switch 1 and 2 (waiting to see if the physical version of the former will be available also on Italian Amazon otherwise I'll go for it elsewhere while I'll get the upgrade to the latter digitally)!
Nice that a new Minecraft Dungeons is coming - looking forward to seeing and hearing more about it, fingers crossed it will be better (most likely yes when it comes to performance at least on Switch 2 compared to the original on Switch, but we'll see)!
Thanks for the hands on, good to have further confirmation that these are great products - I'll definitely consider at least some of them (potentially also the wooden blocks depending on their starting price here in Italy or by importing, if they can be found discounted etc.) for my niece... and let's be honest, also as collectibles for me!
@Daniel36 I'm certainly not stopping getting games that interest me and so supporting their creators just because of my backlog (especially when they cost so little from the start like in the case of Vampire Survivors and eventually when I get it Crawlers, when they're discounted etc.) - that said, I've actually been playing not only new releases, but also games in my backlog throughout these years as can be seen in my What Are You Playing comments and even more so now that I've started my YouTube channel and I play games for that, too... but of course it takes time although I'm certainly not in a hurry, I'm still relatively young and hopefully I won't stop playing videogames anytime soon!
Tonight I'm seeing my friends, we might play Tennis Fever and/or Air Riders along with board games etc. I'll also continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Fitness Boxing (3, did one workout; 3 did 4 Box-and-Bond for Lin);
Ring Fit Adventure (did 1 level and 1 mission of World 14; 9 Worlds completed and 4 finished);
GameCenter CX (continued the 8th game);
Freedom Planet 2 (did 1 stage as Milla; Story as Lilac and Carol - 25/63 Badges);

Legends Arceus (continued going around to catch all Pokémon; 26/27 Missions and 87/122 Requests completed - Pokédex 240 Seen, 233 Caught and 135 Max Research);
Xenoblade Chronicles X (did a normal mission and some basic ones - also got a Heart-to-Heart; 6/?? Chapters, 21/?? Affinity, 57/?? Normal, 64/?? Basic Missions and 53/?? Heart-to-Hearts - Mira 27.44% - 93/204 Story, 42/315 Combat and 70/222 World Achievements);
Guardians of Azuma (explored a new island for the story - also did some bonding quests; 131/?? Main, 117/?? Bonding Quests - 94/?? Bestiary - 16/45 PescaPedia - all Kamiwaza, 27/36 Quests, 4/6 Battles, 2/16 Bonds and 6/8 Everyday Life Seals);
Fantasy Life i (went around Ginormosia and so got Strangelings - also did a request, several Life quests and so ranked up the Hunter and Magician Lives; 6 Chapters - Lives 5 Master 2 Expert and 7 Adept Rank - 60 Personal Requests - 88/148 Monsters, 78/138 Resources, 21/49 Strangelings, 21/50 Characters);
Mario Kart World (did a Grand Prix and Free Roam; Mirror Three Stars 7 Grand Prix - 26 ? Panels, 64 P Switches and 15 Peach Medallions in Free Roam - 104 Characters, 40 Vehicles and 298 Stickers);
Soul Calibur II (started Extra Chapter 2 in Weapon Master; Arcade as 1 character - Weapon Master finished, 9 Chapters, 3 Sub and 1 Extra completed);
Street Fighter 6 (did sidequests in World Tour; World Tour 9 Chapters and 27 Sidequests);
Yakuza 0 (continued the business - also did a substory; 10 Chapters - 33.42% Completion, 26/79 Adventure, 38/84 Battle, 40/99 Business, 9/27 Substories, 12/85 Minigames);
Bananza (completed Sublayer 500 - also continued Emerald Rush; game finished, 4 layers completed - 594/777 Banandium Gems, 563/696 Fossils, 105/117 Discs - VoidCo 8 Rewards);
Pac-Man World 2 (completed 3 levels and so Worlds 8 and 9; game finished, 9 Worlds, 31 Levels and 13 Mazes completed);

Persona 3 Reload (played up to 5/5 not included; 2 Charm, Courage and Academics - 1 Rank 3, 4 Rank 2, 2 Rank 1 Social Links - 9% Compendium);

on YouTube Air Riders (played Air, Top Ride and City Trial offline);
Mario Advance 2 (completed the game except for Dragon Coins);
@Haruki_NLI On Switch 2 as you mentioned yourself there's also the Generation Pack which unsurprisingly sold more than Requiem on its own, they're in 4th and 6th in the Nintendo charts respectively and considering that the former is also in the general charts no matter if in 20th despite being on a single system unlike the other, mostly multiplatform games I'd say the game is far from a "flop" even on Switch 2 as much as it clearly sold more on other platforms for reasons like what @Rooty has already mentioned etc.
Love to see Tennis Fever debuting on top of the US Nintendo charts and in 11th of the general ones, Dragon Quest VII in 2nd and 9th respectively (the latter thanks to being multiplatform), Generation Pack in 4th and 20th and last but certainly not least Requiem on its own in 6th and 1st (same as DQ7)! Also personally happy for all the remaining games in the Nintendo charts and even more in the case of Legends Z-A since it's in 19th in the general ones as well and glad to hear that data for Switch 2 as in the system!
Hope those interested in trying it for free will be able to do so in time if they haven't done so already (doesn't matter to me personally as I'm sharing an NSO+ subscription with my friends anyway) - haven't tried GameChat yet personally, but I'm actually looking forward to doing so if I have the chance and regardless, I'm glad for those already using and enjoying it starting with some here on Nintendo Life although most likely even more so when it comes to the silent majority, not to mention as luckily others have already said this time that people have been complaining about the lack of it on Nintendo systems for so long... which makes the incessant complaining about its presence now absolutely baffling, again damned if you do and damned if you don't!
For better or worse although I'd say mostly the former to avoid delays etc., Nintendo usually don't announce games until they're relatively close to release - anyway, I haven't tried out the 3.0.0 update yet (I'll do so whenever I replay New Horizons in general for my channel also considering the one island per system) and while I doubt it's coming out immediately after they released that and even this year in general (at most they might announce it) I'd say it's time for a new Animal Crossing and I'm looking forward to it whenever it's ready!
Now this is an acquisition that worries me way more than the Saudi investments - of course Nintendo Life focused on the videogame side (thanks for the link to that baffling letter, had only heard about it before), but Kadokawa is even more important when it comes to manga, anime and so on...
Funny article as much as I have serious doubts anything of this will happen beyond the water and sky exploration (especially going back to moves used in the overworld unless they again go for Poké Rides or similar implementations we've already seen) - anyway, so looking forward to seeing and hearing more about Winds & Waves whenever they're ready to share it!
Most on board with this single positive until the negatives start showing up, glad I'm not the only one here thinking about the potential drawbacks - that said, hope they'll be able to find a good compromise and while I definitely won't rush to get such a revision myself I might consider it in the future (by then we might get a model with more reasons to upgrade than just this)!
Waiting to see/hear more about them, but the ones that interest me are Cozy Grove - even more so now that it got a Switch 2 Edition hopefully addressing most if not all the technical issues it had on Switch - and RUBATO (first and foremost because it interests me based on the release trailer last time, but also to support its creators, both the developers and Headcannon as the publisher after their struggles)... unless I missed something and/or potential additions thanks to future comments as usual!
Love to hear System Shock is now much improved on both Switch 1 and 2 thanks to this patch - so glad for those interested in it (still not particularly me included considering its genre, but that's besides the point)!
Thanks for the review, not interested in this myself even assuming it's available also in Italy in the first place (got the official Switch N64 controller when it got discounted, €34,99 instead of €49,99) - that said, glad to hear it's an overall great alternative for those who are!
Nice, happy for those in the US who'll be able to watch it for the first time or rewatch it thanks to this - glad it's also available on the internet both officially and unofficially as already mentioned, the more options the better whenever feasible (the ones on the internet are quite important to let also those outside of the US watch it, but I couldn't agree more that it's great to see it back on a TV channel, too)!
@cvrator Please avoid spreading misinformation by saying exaggerations:
It's not a demo for a "two year old game", but for its new expansion;
"broken kiosks in American retail stores that nobody shops at" except that even just in this very comment section so far a couple of people have already tried it and more might visit those stores to play it themselves thanks to this article (not to mention all the "casuals" that aren't on sites like Nintendo Life, bet they're a good part of the target of such kiosk demos).
It's like the "almost exclusively multiplayer additions" etc. in this expansion some mentioned last time and before, that's a straight up false claim regardless of your personal opinions on its contents...
Nice, hope those able to play this demo will have fun first and foremost, but of course also potentially consider getting this version of the game or the upgrade to it themselves - personally, I'm getting the upgrade as soon as it comes out and playing it whenever I have a free slot for it in my gaming schedule (maybe after Tennis Fever and so before Air Riders, but we'll see)!
Having a survey now and then another one in around three months makes sense as I'd say it would be too early to have only one and just after a week as this isn't a short game - anyway, fingers crossed this will help to further improve this spin-off series and I'm so looking forward to finally playing it myself when I can (starting with the remaster of the original, I'm going in order and I want to play them all)!
Expected it but still, glad to see they've already officially put three additional free DLCs after the recently announced ones - so looking forward to all of that and playing more CrossWorlds in general (as usual mostly on stream when Festivals happen so next in occasion of the upcoming Mega Man one)!
Glad to hear it already got a patch, fingers crossed it further improves thanks to this and future updates - as much as it's definitely not for me (precisely due to the "frightening yet believable lore" as @Banjo- mentioned), Fatal Frame is such a cool series and I hope more and more will get to play and enjoy it!
Not sure if I'll be able to get this set or at least anytime soon due to its price, but I'm definitely considering it, especially because of the minifigures (apparently in general, not exclusively "pre-molded Pokémon" like this one) - regardless, so glad we're getting such a set if this ends up being confirmed although as usual it's more likely than not when it comes to Lego leaks!
In the preview Mario looked more like he's T-posing than flying, but it's just the angle - anyway, pretty cool, happy for those going for them (even if they were available also in Italy I doubt I'd go to McDonald's just for them myself but still, would be nice if Europe got them as well)!
Love to see Pokopia still in 1st and selling that much in Japan!
Also personally happy to see Stories 3 debuting in 2nd and 3rd and even more so since it sold the most on Switch 2 (guess my copy is among those since I had to preorder it from Japanese Amazon, it wasn't available anymore on the Italian one for some reason), Requiem in 4th, Fatal Frame II debuting in 5th and 8th (wish it sold more, though), World in 6th, Fever in 7th, New Horizons in both 9th and 10th and last but certainly not least Switch 2 on top of the hardware charts - and yet still followed by Switch when combining all the models as mentioned also by the article, nice!
Was looking forward to the game regardless, but even more so considering this - absolutely getting a physical copy myself as soon as I can (most likely just the standard edition, but the special and collector's are pretty cool and I'm happy for those going for any of them)!
... Have just preordered it, €54,99 as mentioned in the article plus €5,99 shipping to Italy so in total €60,98!
Lol that release trailer - didn't expect this to come so soon, nice, looking forward to giving it a try at some point (should finally play Vampire Survivors myself first and foremost though also considering that I already have it)!
Oh wow, didn't expect it to come this soon - after watching the release trailer I'm further convinced to play this myself when I can (if possible I'd love a review here on Nintendo Life)!
Nice video and happy for all those taking part in this movie - yet another reminder that I really should watch the previous movies when I can (maybe if I do so in time I'll watch this one at the cinema)!
Nice to have an expansion dedicated to shinies and even more so that it's the upcoming one - absolutely looking forward to it next week (still quite enjoying Pocket on my own and also together with my sister, her boyfriend etc.)!
Glad this is now out and even more so since being a Switch 2 Edition there's an upgrade for those who already have it (not me included, might consider the base game physically if available also here in Italy otherwise fully digitally) - even more so considering that, looking forward to giving Human Fall Flat a try myself at some point!
... Found a copy of what should be the latest physical version (the "Dream Collection", the "Anniversary" one apparently is older) at its starting price on Italian Amazon so I've just ordered it - as soon as it arrives I'll get the upgrade and when I have the time I'll give it a try for sure!

Re: Nintendo Remains Tight-Lipped About Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Future
For better or worse although I'd say mostly the former to avoid delays etc., Nintendo usually don't announce games until they're relatively close to release - anyway, I haven't tried out the 3.0.0 update yet (I'll do so whenever I replay New Horizons in general for my channel also considering the one island per system) and while I doubt it's coming out immediately after they released that and even this year in general (at most they might announce it) I'd say it's time for a new Animal Crossing and I'm looking forward to it whenever it's ready!
Re: Investor Who Urged Nintendo To Monetise Mario's Jumps Acquires Shares In Kadokawa
Now this is an acquisition that worries me way more than the Saudi investments - of course Nintendo Life focused on the videogame side (thanks for the link to that baffling letter, had only heard about it before), but Kadokawa is even more important when it comes to manga, anime and so on...
Re: Opinion: Is Winds & Waves Just 'Pokémon: Tears Of The Kingdom'?
Funny article as much as I have serious doubts anything of this will happen beyond the water and sky exploration (especially going back to moves used in the overworld unless they again go for Poké Rides or similar implementations we've already seen) - anyway, so looking forward to seeing and hearing more about Winds & Waves whenever they're ready to share it!
Re: Europe Might Be Forcing Nintendo To Revise The Switch 2
@squiddu-real Like the ones @RupeeClock has already mentioned for example.
Re: Europe Might Be Forcing Nintendo To Revise The Switch 2
Most on board with this single positive until the negatives start showing up, glad I'm not the only one here thinking about the potential drawbacks - that said, hope they'll be able to find a good compromise and while I definitely won't rush to get such a revision myself I might consider it in the future (by then we might get a model with more reasons to upgrade than just this)!
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th March (North America)
Waiting to see/hear more about them, but the ones that interest me are Cozy Grove - even more so now that it got a Switch 2 Edition hopefully addressing most if not all the technical issues it had on Switch - and RUBATO (first and foremost because it interests me based on the release trailer last time, but also to support its creators, both the developers and Headcannon as the publisher after their struggles)... unless I missed something and/or potential additions thanks to future comments as usual!
Re: System Shock 2.1 Update Brings Massive Improvements To Performance
Love to hear System Shock is now much improved on both Switch 1 and 2 thanks to this patch - so glad for those interested in it (still not particularly me included considering its genre, but that's besides the point)!
Re: Review: 8BitDo 64 Controller For Switch 1 & 2 - A Worthy Alternative To Nintendo's N64 Pad
Thanks for the review, not interested in this myself even assuming it's available also in Italy in the first place (got the official Switch N64 controller when it got discounted, €34,99 instead of €49,99) - that said, glad to hear it's an overall great alternative for those who are!
Re: Random: A Classic Super Mario Cartoon Is Heading To MeTV Toons In The US
Nice, happy for those in the US who'll be able to watch it for the first time or rewatch it thanks to this - glad it's also available on the internet both officially and unofficially as already mentioned, the more options the better whenever feasible (the ones on the internet are quite important to let also those outside of the US watch it, but I couldn't agree more that it's great to see it back on a TV channel, too)!
Re: PSA: Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup In Bellabel Park Demo Now Available At Switch 2 Kiosks (North America)
@cvrator Please avoid spreading misinformation by saying exaggerations:
It's like the "almost exclusively multiplayer additions" etc. in this expansion some mentioned last time and before, that's a straight up false claim regardless of your personal opinions on its contents...
Re: PSA: Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup In Bellabel Park Demo Now Available At Switch 2 Kiosks (North America)
Re: Capcom Wants To Know Your Thoughts About Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Re: Sega Shares Updated DLC Roadmap For Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Expected it but still, glad to see they've already officially put three additional free DLCs after the recently announced ones - so looking forward to all of that and playing more CrossWorlds in general (as usual mostly on stream when Festivals happen so next in occasion of the upcoming Mega Man one)!
Re: Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake Receives A New Patch On Switch 2 This Week
Re: Rumour: Minifigure Scale Pokémon Lego Appears Online In New Leak
Not sure if I'll be able to get this set or at least anytime soon due to its price, but I'm definitely considering it, especially because of the minifigures (apparently in general, not exclusively "pre-molded Pokémon" like this one) - regardless, so glad we're getting such a set if this ends up being confirmed although as usual it's more likely than not when it comes to Lego leaks!
Re: Super Mario Galaxy Movie Toys Arrive In McDonald's Next Week
In the preview Mario looked more like he's T-posing than flying, but it's just the angle - anyway, pretty cool, happy for those going for them (even if they were available also in Italy I doubt I'd go to McDonald's just for them myself but still, would be nice if Europe got them as well)!
Re: Japanese Charts: Ditto Copies Another Win For Pokémon Pokopia
Re: Shenmue III Enhanced Is Coming To Switch 2, Physical Editions Confirmed
Was looking forward to the game regardless, but even more so considering this - absolutely getting a physical copy myself as soon as I can (most likely just the standard edition, but the special and collector's are pretty cool and I'm happy for those going for any of them)!
... Have just preordered it, €54,99 as mentioned in the article plus €5,99 shipping to Italy so in total €60,98!
Re: Vampire Survivors' Crazy Dungeon Crawler Spin-Off Launches Next Month
Lol that release trailer - didn't expect this to come so soon, nice, looking forward to giving it a try at some point (should finally play Vampire Survivors myself first and foremost though also considering that I already have it)!
Re: PlayStation Indie Hit 'Kena: Bridge Of Spirits' Is Headed To Switch 2 Next Week
Oh wow, didn't expect it to come this soon - after watching the release trailer I'm further convinced to play this myself when I can (if possible I'd love a review here on Nintendo Life)!
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog 4's Full Movie Cast List Has Been Revealed
Nice video and happy for all those taking part in this movie - yet another reminder that I really should watch the previous movies when I can (maybe if I do so in time I'll watch this one at the cinema)!
Re: Pokémon TCG Pocket's Next Expansion Is A Shiny Hunter's Dream
Nice to have an expansion dedicated to shinies and even more so that it's the upcoming one - absolutely looking forward to it next week (still quite enjoying Pocket on my own and also together with my sister, her boyfriend etc.)!
Re: Human Fall Flat Brings The Chaos In New Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Glad this is now out and even more so since being a Switch 2 Edition there's an upgrade for those who already have it (not me included, might consider the base game physically if available also here in Italy otherwise fully digitally) - even more so considering that, looking forward to giving Human Fall Flat a try myself at some point!
... Found a copy of what should be the latest physical version (the "Dream Collection", the "Anniversary" one apparently is older) at its starting price on Italian Amazon so I've just ordered it - as soon as it arrives I'll get the upgrade and when I have the time I'll give it a try for sure!
