Didn't expect a Walking Dead beat-em-up announced today, but sure - not particularly interested in this myself (both considering the franchise and other games having priority, even just when it comes to this genre), but fingers crossed for the best!

Thanks for the review, I'll consider giving this a try at some point, but definitely not now (even if I had the time for it I'd still wait to see if some bugs get patched) - regardless, hope those going for it will overall enjoy it!

I'm voting for the ones that I think are more likely to happen: saves from anywhere (this is just how games work nowadays and would be for the best also considering the flexibility of playing on Switch) and more things to see and do - not necessarily just in Hyrule Field and I think that's going to happen even if it ends up being an overall faithful remake à la Star Fox, in fact that one also has such additions while keeping the main game intact in the form of new cutscenes, Challenge Mode etc.!

Glad to hear Imamura-san feels like that about the remake and also great reminder of what happened back in the day when it comes to graphics (and by the way, thank you Imamura-san and co. for your work on Star Fox 64) - so looking forward to playing the remake as soon as my copy arrives!

No worries, please take your time so that it's better from the get-go - anyway, getting Denshattack when it comes out and then playing it when I can (haven't tried out the demo myself, but I'm definitely interested in the game based on what I've seen and heard of it)!

Already got the Xenoblade Chronicles upgrade, will eventually get Atelier Yumia and to a T for sure - not sure why Rise of the Tomb Raider is missing here, but that's also guaranteed for me (and Denshattack as well when it actually comes out)!

Games can contain thought-provoking aspects, but don't have to necessarily be made exclusively for that purpose and I suspect that might be the case here (and even more so considering others' opinions in the comments) - anyway, thanks for the review, I'm even more intrigued by this game now and so I'll definitely play it myself at some point!

The more options the better and so considering that these minigames were mostly optional in Rebirth as already mentioned here and most likely will still be in Revelation they're absolutely welcome in my book - in addition, it's the usual damned if you do and damned if you don't because people would definitely complain about the "lack of content" if it were the other way around (and between the two options I have no doubts which one is preferable for most considering the abovementioned)...

Wouldn't make sense doing so now that the remake is coming out, hopefully at a later time (not even necessarily on NSO) - anyway, looking forward to more GameCube games in general!

So as expected we got a regular update on Friday and the Mario Kart World one on Tuesday was (and most likely will keep on being) just an extra - anyway, glad to see the Wii Sports Resort soundtrack coming to Nintendo Music and even more so since it's a great one!

Glad to see them improving this game in general and in particular on Switch 2 - even more so considering comments here, I'm looking forward to playing it myself when I can (already have a physical copy so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it)!

A reasonable usage of AI, too bad that most reactions to this are anything but reasonable - again, I really hope this and other games in the same situation will sell regardless for the sake of their human creators and human players, not to mention that if such companies shut down what will be left is those too big to fail which are exactly the ones using AI in questionable ways (EA immediately comes to mind) if not straight up bad ones like replacing their employees, as if even just the gaming industry weren't plagued by companies going bankrupt and/or laying-off workers as is...

Glad all those mentioned here enjoyed what they got to play of Groove - so looking forward to starting it (and so finally playing a Rhythm Heaven) myself as soon as my copy arrives!

Still waiting for data from more weeks than one last time and now two - what can already be said is that even with the current decrease Switch 2 keeps on selling way more than any other system in Japan, just like before the price increase...
Anyway, personally happy to see Tomodachi Life on top, Rebirth and eFootball debuting in 2nd and 3rd and selling that much, Pokopia in 4th, Yoshi in 5th, World in 6th, First Light funnily in 7th (wish it sold more, hopefully the Switch 2 version will help whenever it comes out) and Astro Bot in 10th (wish that sold more and unfortunately Switch 2 can't help in that case)!

So glad this is finally happening for those who have been waiting for a Switch physical release - first and foremost those who supported the game and selected that as a reward on Kickstarter, but also others (will consider going for at least the standard version myself)!

As usual, I'd rather wait to see more first and foremost - I love the older versions in their own ways, but I could love this one as much if not even more after seeing it in action (and regardless, I'm way more interested in the game as a whole than fixating on a single aspect)!

@Haruki_NLI Now I know thanks to this very article, thought it was just a remake before - that's exactly why I'd like to play the trilogy first if possible, but if I can't I'll just start with this one!

Nice to see a preview also of this - didn't know it's supposed to be a sequel to the latest trilogy, will consider playing that first then (luckily the first two games are already on Switch 1 and/or 2 and I bet the third one will eventually come) although I might start with this anyway!

And here's the Groove preview (as others guessed based on a certain blurried icon), glad you got to try also this Alex and even more so since it's your first Rhythm Heaven - that will be the case for me as well, so looking forward to finally playing one myself thanks to this latest and apparently heavenly entry!

Would've been nice to have the option between first and third person, but between the two the latter makes the most sense consideting the other REmakes as already mentioned by the article and the original Code Veronica (other than it being my personal preference and others', too) - anyway, looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this and potentially giving it a try myself at some point although 4 on Switch and then Requiem are my priority to see if Resident Evil is for me!

Nice that Marsupilami is getting a new game, fingers crossed it will be just as good if not better than the first one on Switch (have heard overall great things about that one) - even better that there's a demo, might give it a try myself although I should play the original game first and foremost considering that I already have it!

Both quantity and quality, both old and new not to mention the announcements outside of the Direct so there's something for practically everyone (and luckily for gaming on Switch 2 and in general the silent majority agrees as shown even just by the poll here on Nintendo Life no matter how loud the complaining is) - anyway, so looking forward to most of these myself!

Nice little additional trailer - so glad Final Fantasy XIV is finally coming also to Switch 2 for those interested in it (me included, but definitely not anytime soon considering its length even just when it comes to the main story quest as already mentioned here)!

This was quite the surprise during the Direct, didn't expect a new Ninjala to be announced - don't think it will be free-to-play considering that at least in Japan it's getting even a physical release (so glad that the Japanese versions of Directs include also that info) but anyway, looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this and potentially playing it myself!

Happy that this has a release date and even more so since it's relatively soon - keeps on looking great and I hope those going for it will have fun (absolutely me included, just not sure when since it's co-op only)!

Guessed they could be keeping footage of this game for the Direct and yep, that was indeed the case - anyway, looks great (and yes, runs much better than the previous DQ Monsters although that's not particularly surprising as it was exclusively a Switch game) so I'm absolutely getting and eventually playing it myself!

As expected, again while I'm not a fan of less options and I feel for those who got the cloud versions at the same time it makes sense now that these games are getting native ports (glad that not only the saves can be transferred as mentioned during the Direct but also there's a discount for those who got, or should I say rented and people should know that at this point, the cloud versions as usually they don't get even just that when services shut down) - anyway, absolutely getting these games myself now, so looking forward to finally playing them when I have the time!

Glad to hear it and hope the development of Chapter 6 and Deltarune in general keeps on going well - happy Chapter 5 is coming so soon for those planning to start it immediately when it comes out (not me included as I haven't started playing the game myself yet, just watched others playing Chapters 1 and 2 so far)!

I'd also rather continue paying almost nothing for NSO subscriptions, thanks (and even more so since I'm sharing a family plan with my friends, each of us pays around €10 per year that way not to mention the free extra months by renewing it while such offers are available) - leaving that aside, glad to hear about this additions and fixes and looking forward to the contents of the Expansion Pass when they come out!

The DK in general and Bananza in particular promotion continues and I'm so glad that's the case considering all the stuff we're getting thanks to it - happy for those who have Alarmo (not me included) and interested in this!

Would've been surprised if Torna hadn't got an upgrade, but glad to have official confirmation - was already really looking forward to playing all the Xenoblade Chronicles games and even more so now that they're getting these upgrades (first and foremost I'll finish X which I'm currently playing, then I'll move on to 1 and so on)!

Makes sense to show the latest game first, but it's still funny to me that now they've announced the first one - anyway, glad this is also coming to Switch 2, will consider playing both myself in order!

@AstroTheGamosian I'll let you know when I start it (I'm getting it as soon as possible whenever it comes out, but I doubt I'll be able to play it immediately) - looking forward to it even more than I already was thanks to what you mentioned about it!

Have already rated and commented about the Direct under the other article so here I'll just mention my picks for the second poll, one per category:

• Fire Emblem when it comes to Nintendo games we already knew about;
• Xenoblade Genesis as the completely new Nintendo game (and also considering that we're most certainly getting Switch 2 Editions of the Chronicles games as a build-up to it);
• Kingdom Hearts Collection for the third parties - so glad those games are finally getting a native port on Switch 2 (and just like Xenoblade although the other way around there's also the related Kingdom Hearts IV announcement)!

Great comparison and glad to hear you enjoyed the demo - not sure if I'll check it out myself (maybe on stream, but we'll see), I could just wait for the full release since I'm starting that as soon as my copy arrives!

Starting with Rhythm Heaven makes sense also considering that so far they've always shown first the Switch games and then those on Switch 2 or both systems - anyway, couldn't agree more and that's why I'd say it was 9 - Excellent (and for me personally even a 10 - Outstanding also depending on the Japanese announcements, but we'll see when I watch that version on stream tomorrow)!
