@Vyacheslav333 Will consider starting with one of the Famicom games then although I might still play later ones as well at some point - regardless of what I end up doing, thanks for the recommendation!
Glad the misunderstanding has been cleared and yeah, unfortunate but unsurprising considering the whole Mighty No. 9 matter - even more so since they really have scammed people as already mentioned by others' comments here (the 3DS version getting cancelled is one thing, a completely different one is not offering a replacement key for one of the platforms where the game did get released)...
Really should give this series in general a try when I can, potentially starting with this very title (even more so considering its setting) - anyway, glad that a new game is coming at least in Japan although most likely and hopefully elsewhere at some point, too!
Completely missed it back when it was teased, now that I know it exists and based on the trailer I'm definitely interested in giving it a try myself at some point (most likely on my own first and foremost, but potentially also for my channel considering that Japanese is clearly included as it's in the trailer) - would be great if Nintendo Life could review it if possible!
@Justdave Don't mind such typos at all personally, I'm just trying to be helpful by pointing them out in articles so that they can be fixed (this time that happened immediately before I did so, but still) - the Nintendo Life staff are clearly not bothered by it, in fact they've thanked me for it several times in the past!
@MADLUDWIG11 Unfortunate to hear, hope you'll reconsider and get it at least on Steam at some point, but of course it's up to you (both as in it's your decision which I'll respect regardless and it depending on this being for you or not, but what I can tell you is that it's a quality game based on everything I've seen and heard, including but not limited to this review) - how I wish this didn't happen and so nobody would have to worry about it in the first place!
@Justdave I'd say games and even more so their creators - fellow human beings whose livelihoods depend on the former getting sold - being negatively affected is more than a good reason to call censorship etc. out (especially in the case of games straight up not get released due to such reasons, again luckily not in this case although the sales might be lower if people straight up skip Dispatch instead of at least getting it on other platforms due to this)...
Love to hear that this now has a release date and even more so that it includes two additional games (Goof Troop in particular for me) - getting it as soon as possible potentially even day one and looking forward to playing it when I can even more than I already was!
I've been saying all this time that if people kept on agreeing with censorship instead of at least categorically acknowledging that it's bad period this would be the consequence (glad the hypocrisy of Cyberpunk being uncensored and so on has already been pointed out) - the silver lining is that this at least got released unlike Neptunia etc., but we'll most certainly see more of that as well if this doesn't stop...
See what censorship does if people agree with it instead of at the very least saying that it's bad, period? Good thing that in this case the game didn't get straight up cancelled like Neptunia and so on, but don't be surprised if we'll see more of that as well...
That said thanks for the review, I'll still get this on Switch 2 to support the devs and play it sooner rather than later (I could get it on Steam for the former and avoid the censorship but not the latter, might double dip at some point) - have heard great things about it elsewhere as well including my friends, so looking forward to playing it myself as soon as I can!
Saw a Nintendo Life forum topic mentioning it earlier today, happy for my fellow Europeans interested in giving Stardew Valley a try thanks to this (not me included as I already have it and even have played it a little before, I'll properly replay it when I can) - fingers crossed for the Switch 2 update as in the bugs getting fixed and then it being released outside of the US!
Again, the more older games getting rereleased officially on modern platforms in general and Switch 1 and 2 in particular the better - doubt I'd go for this physically even if it were available here in Italy without importing, but digitally I'll eventually get it for sure (the Nickelodeon Splat Pack comes first for me though due to its variety and also based on comments here on Nintendo Life)!
Jokes aside, the more older games being made available in some way or the other on modern platforms in general and Switch 1 and/or 2 in particular the better (even more so in this case since the original is already there and we're now getting this remake) - now that I know it exists I'm definitely interested in giving it a try at some point!
Now this is the kind of subscription I'd rather avoid if possible and yet people here and also elsewhere keep on complaining about NSO first and foremost despite it:
being way cheaper if you share a family plan with friends and/or acquaintances;
not having been ever increased at least so far;
mostly, with the exception of Nintendo Music, including contents either already available for purchase separately or being apps that you download and that only check if you still have a subscription so if it ever gets discontinued (and most likely not anytime soon as it's also on Switch 2 and that practically just came out) modding will come to the rescue unlike most Games as a Service, potentially including Just Dance+ although I'm not sure about that!
Might at least run better as is on Switch 2, but of course I hope they'll consider at least an update/upgrade in the future for those interested in this (not particularly me included, but still) - that said, I have doubts it's due to the lack of dev kits and I wouldn't be surprised if other than the bigger playerbase on Switch it were to avoid competition for the PS5 version as others have already mentioned...
Nice trailer and pretty cool that there will be a collab with Silent Hill f - happy for those going for this game (not me included, as much as there are some aspects that appeal to me there are way too many and/or deeply disturbing ones to it and Fatal Frame games in general for me)!
Fingers crossed they'll be able to fix this issue sooner rather than later (good thing it isn't a major one as said also in the article) - would be even better though if there were a Switch 2 update/upgrade for those interested in it starting with those who have already mentioned it here!
Great if confirmed (more likely than not in addition to Billbil-kun's apparent accuracy considering that 2K is one of the companies supporting Switch 2 from the start) and even more so since it would be on the same date as other platforms - happy for those interested in this!
As for why Nintendo didn't rerelease Virtual Boy games on 3DS again, most likely because there was still Virtual Console and so they had more to lose than to gain from doing so unlike by putting them on NSO - did people want them to lose even more money on this console than they already had back in the day?
By the way, wonder if this feature coming later could be other than potentially engagement (I question that though since they already have the remaining games for that) because they might want to further test it to avoid issues or even just properly tune it, most likely those who made the unofficial emulators did the same although of course they didn't have any deadlines...
This is a nice little feature (present at least in the black and white variant also in unofficial Virtual Boy emulators in general, not just Red Viper), I'll definitely use it myself whenever it becomes available - mostly the black and white one, but I might give the other ones at least a try!
Oh wow that's a lot of additions, changes etc. - happy for those playing Terraria or going back to it in this occasion (I've only watched others playing it so far, would definitely like to play it myself at some point and even more so after this)!
Happy 15th anniversary The Last Story, unfortunately missed it (and Pandora's Tower) back in the day - fingers crossed these games will eventually get rereleased in some way or another!
Always love to see previously unreleased games finally coming out officially and this is certainly no exception - looking forward to giving these a try whenever they come out this year (along with the other Virtual Boy games of course starting with Wario Land)!
Good to know the launch line-up, that the remaining games (including two previously unreleased games, that's really cool) will come at some point this very year and the features - fingers crossed I'll be able to see the 3D effect decently enough despite my partial stereoblindness... although I wonder if it will actually be playable without any of the headsets/docked while simply missing on the 3D effect and having to hide one of the two screens in some way!
Love to see this WarioWare's soundtrack on Nintendo Music - fingers crossed those of other games in this series will eventually come, too (especially considering the tracks with vocals like the already mentioned Drifting Away and Four Seasons for me, but of course also in general)!
@Nep-Nep-Freak Have my fingers crossed for a physical cartridge revision with everything on cart anyway for those interested in it including you to save digital storage, but for the sake of having updates on your completely offline console you could also update via a local user - just wanted to mention that as it's an often forgot feature (unsurprisingly and I've never used it myself so far, but still)!
Love to see some major additions (nice that GameShare is among those) in this update other than the expected balance adjustments and bug fixes - looking forward to finally playing Air Riders when I can even more than I already was!
Wouldn't be the first time games that got rereleased in another way before eventually came to NSO in the case of Pikmin 2 and the more versions the better while great to see Metroid Prime 2 coming to Switch 2 at least in such a way if this ends up being confirmed - anyway, so looking forward to more GameCube games on NSO, both the already announced ones, potentially these and straight up surprises like Wario World (fingers crossed also for more third-party games although of course that depends on other companies as well)!
What a lovely poster (also as already mentioned by others interesting that Gateway Galaxy looks like this in this version) - so looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this movie and then watching it, hopefully as soon as it comes out!
Really should give the first Fur Squadron a try first and foremost (also considering that I already have it, as usual it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it), but glad this sequel is coming also to Switch 1 and 2 and pretty soon - fingers crossed we'll eventually get more Star Fox rereleases and hopefully new games, too!
Thanks for the review, even more so after this I'm definitely interested in giving Grid Legends (and also Autosport) a try at some point - fingers crossed we'll see more and more games of this genre on Switch 1 and/or 2, absolutely including Forza etc.!
@Gabe250 Yeah, suspected Xbox could be missing for such a reason (thanks for further confirming that) and it's certainly possible that the physical sales on PS5 are so low nowadays that in rounded percentages they don't show - regardless, glad the game sold so much that it's in second now that it's on Switch 2, too!
I'll most likely stick to Joy-Con 2 for a while if not ever (potentially even when it comes to additional controllers whenever I end up needing them) - that said, fingers crossed this will be good for those interested in them!
We'll just have to wait and see if it actually happens next week, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did considering that most likely there will be a Direct in February (and I'm not making the mistake of thinking that one won't happen just because of the current schedule already having several games and/or individual Directs not that long before it like with the Wonder one for example) - in the meantime looking forward to the already confirmed Tomodachi Life one!
Don't mind delays in general for the reasons mentioned before including in the recent article about the topic, but honestly even more so in this case considering that Origins has just come out - anyway, looking forward to this whenever it comes out (although I'll play Origins first and foremost when I can)!
Funny getting it on April Fools' due to this, but I'll gladly watch it a couple of days earlier than announced before - so looking forward to this new Mario movie (and of course even more so after what they've shown in the recent Direct)!
Didn't see it coming, in fact I straight up doubted we would get a Tomodachi Life dedicated Direct, but man do I love to have been proven wrong - so looking forward to watching it (the Italian version live on my own for sure and potentially the Japanese one the next day for my channel)!
I remember someone here on Nintendo Life had a pretty good guess in the past, too bad that I forgot what title they guessed - anyway, agree with others here about it being Revelation or something along those lines considering the plot (haven't played the original myself, but I've heard about it overall) and that it's the final game... that said, Repugnant is absolutely hilarious!
Love to hear it and absolutely deserved based on what I've seen, heard and now also played myself to an extent (can't wait to play more of it when it's time for it as part of my gaming schedule) - fingers crossed it keeps on selling and so looking forward to future Nintendo Warriors games!
@Kiz3000 Of course it could be just a mistake, but if that's the case I'd say it's mostly if not exclusively due to the split not being right as again, this usually doesn't happen and at the very least Sony's sales should be already present - regardless, the majority of sales is most likely on Switch 2 anyway just like it happened before (Outlaws immediately comes to mind for example)!
Lol the Switch 2 100% for FF7 Remake - makes sense, but I'm not sure I've ever seen it before on these charts in the case of Switch 1 and/or 2 rereleases of games already on other platforms or at least it's pretty rare! Anyway, love to see it debut in 2nd and personally happy also for Mario Kart World in 1st, New Horizons in 3rd, 8 Deluxe in 4th, Legends Z-A in 5th, The Witcher III in 7th, Bananza in 10th, Switch Sports in 11th, Jamboree in 12th, Wilds in 13th, Wonder in 14th, the Galaxy bundle in 16th, Cyberpunk in 18th, Skywalker Saga in 19th, Hogwarts Legacy in 20th, Tears of the Kingdom in 21st etc.!
Happy Burns Night to all those celebrating it - thanks for the lesson about it in general, in Animal Crossing and of course the usual jokes with this article!
Short but really sweet - as expected we saw Yoshi, but didn't think Mario and Luigi would find him that way (and all the other stuff like Birdo and other Super Mario Bros. 2/USA characters, the Yoshi's Safari reference etc. are absolutely welcome, too)!
Here are my comments to the main letters as usual:
we'll see if the prices actually increase and there's no way to know for sure when the first special edition will happen, but I'd recommend getting a Switch 2 now - the "worst" that can happen that way is eventually although most likely not anytime soon passing your original Switch 2 to your son just like you'd do with the original now while gaining yourself the improvements to Switch games and Switch 2 exclusives sooner rather than later;
doubt we'll get a Tomodachi Life dedicated Direct as much as I'd love it, we could still see some announcements for the Zelda 40th anniversary along with news also this year for the next one in occasion of the movie and we'll just have to wait and see how they rerelease the original mainline Pokémon games, but getting them is more likely than ever considering that we got them on Virtual Console for the 20th anniversary;
maybe we'll see some color on the outside part as pictures on them à la Triforce mentioned in a previous response in the article, but most likely they'll overall stick to the grey to distinguish them from Switch Joy-Cons - Nintendo clearly want to avoid any potential confusion as shown also by the disclaimers on Switch 2 boxes etc. for better or worse (personally, I'm all for facilitating people making informed purchases first and foremost);
jokes aside, reminder that these are Japanese titles first and foremost and not only they clearly don't mind longer titles there since people are used to abbreviating those themselves - Mario Party becoming マリパ MariPa, Monster Hunter becoming モンハン MonHun and countless other examples -, but also they can become even longer due to localization (for example Meetup in Bellabell Park is みんなでリンリンパーク Minna de Rinrin Park, shorter in itself and you could keep it closer to the original Japanese with "All at Bellabel Park" or something like that while also shortening it);
characters that don't have any amiibo, from different games and recurring first and foremost for me so Beedle, Impa and Tingle!

Re: Random: Here's To Robert Burns And His Long-Standing Relationship With...Animal Crossing?
Happy Burns Night to all those celebrating it - thanks for the lesson about it in general, in Animal Crossing and of course the usual jokes with this article!
Re: Super Mario Galaxy Movie's New Trailer Shares A "First Look" At Yoshi
Short but really sweet - as expected we saw Yoshi, but didn't think Mario and Luigi would find him that way (and all the other stuff like Birdo and other Super Mario Bros. 2/USA characters, the Yoshi's Safari reference etc. are absolutely welcome, too)!

Here are my comments to the main letters as usual:
