@KociolekDoSyta I know well how great System 3 have been during The Last Ninja campaign, luckily I've been able to support them on Kickstarter myself (glad to hear you did as well) - couldn't agree more, how I wish people and even more so journalists etc. were more careful to avoid hurting innocents!
Love what they've shown of this, definitely interested in seeing and hearing more about it (hopefully including a review here on Nintendo Life if possible) and most likely playing it myself when it comes out and I have the time for it - that said, I should give the mentioned Absolum a try first and foremost, especially considering that I've just got a copy of it!
@KociolekDoSyta Oh I know how unfortunately Time Extension has been guilty of that as well, I referred to that article just because it's where I've seen it first - I recommend checking out what Chris Marlow himself said about the artwork and the responses to that (the "Art too perfect? AI. Art not perfect enough? AI." quote I mentioned comes from there)!
That said, I couldn't agree more about transparency about AI usage so that people can make informed purchases no matter what they think of it - personally, what matters the most to me is it not negatively affecting games and even more so their creators (just look at Larian for example, not only they were far from replacing concept artists with AI as they were actually hiring more, but also updated their AI policy and I'm saying that as someone not interested at all in their upcoming Divinity game)... and I'm definitely not hurting human creators myself just to go against AI usage as a whole!
Man do I hate the "guilty before proven innocent" on the internet which is the opposite of the fundamental legal principle of presumption of innocence and not just when it comes to AI - it got even worse when it comes to that though with people claiming without any proof that it has been used even when it hasn't, a recent example being the 25th anniversary Conker artwork as mentioned by Time Extension (and as a response to the original post of that has already said no, "Art too perfect? AI. Art not perfect enough? AI." isn't evidence at all)...
Didn't expect amiibo support also on Switch, interesting - that said, of course this is mostly (other than the abovementioned love to hear that Polish got added for those interested in or straight up needing it) for the sake of the upcoming Switch 2 Edition and I'm so looking forward to that personally, especially considering Rosalina, the challenges and new bosses!
Love to hear Chapter 5 is getting closer and closer - looking forward to finally playing Deltarune in general when I can (already have it so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it, so far I've only watched others playing Chapters 1 and 2)!
Had only seen the Mega Man teaser last night and before that the music tracks when they announced the new free DLC characters, glad to hear there's also a general update including all this stuff - looking forward to playing more CrossWorlds even more than I already was (as usual on stream whenever a Festival occurs as long as I can so the Mega Man one next)!
Glad to hear this update further improved the GameCube app - looking forward to playing its games even more than I already was (as soon as I finish SoulCalibur II I'll start Wario World, I'll play the ones I've never played on my own in order of length while I'll replay most if not all of them for my channel whenever their time comes)!
Awesome trailer, indeed - glad this DLC now has a release date and even more so since it's relatively soon and there's a free update along with it, happy for those going for it (me included whenever I finally play Art of Vengeance in general)!
Stopped reading at the spoiler warning as while I might not mind whatever is mentioned (in fact, it could just further increase my excitement) I don't want to risk it - I'll come back to read the rest after playing more Pokopia, but based on the relatively little I've played of it I love it, absolutely including the mentioned nostalgia!
Really hope these games getting Switch 2 versions will have updates/upgrades instead of being completely separate releases (would be great if the same applied also to SpongeBob, but I doubt that since it's getting a Switch 1 version after the Switch 2 one) - regardless, great that this is happening in the first place!
Nice trailer, adds to my excitement for this after the review here on Nintendo Life - absolutely picking it up when I can and I'm so glad it's now also on Switch 2 (fingers crossed the remaining games by these developers eventually come as well despite the unfortunate, premature end of their studio)!
Yeah, I'd be way more confident about finishing Silksong whenever I end up playing it myself if there were difficulty options, funnily enough I've recently heard here on Nintendo Life that also Tunic has some and just like Celeste etc. most certainly don't think less of those games for including such optional settings, on the contrary...
Leaving that aside, the fixes and additions mentioned here seem overall great - happy for those playing Silksong and looking forward to at least giving it a try at some point (the original Hollow Knight comes first when I have the time for it) despite the abovementioned!
Great to see this coming also to Switch, happy for those interested in it (me included, but I doubt I'll get it anytime soon - nice that there's a launch discount for those who will)!
I'm waiting to hear more about this and even more so since the mentioned "dynamic, team-based twist" could be interesting - fingers crossed the game will be good for those interested in it (potentially me included as abovementioned, but I'd hope the same regardless)!
Nice to see them present in this movie as characters instead of just a sculpture like in the previous one - that said, personally I'm even more excited to see all those other completely new characters, Ukiki for example (or at least getting a better look at them in the case of Clawgrip etc.)!
Expected this to come soon and even more so after the system update (there's usually an NSO addition close to those) - will eventually replay it for sure and this time finish it for my channel, but not anytime soon as not only I'm waiting for Colosseum first, but also I'm starting FireRed tonight!
Curious to see what this will entail (Minccino pun intended) whenever we get to know, at the latest in a week when it starts - regardless, nice that such a collab is happening!
Nice that they added this function also to the app - not sure how much I'll end up using it myself even on Switch 2, but it's a nice addition regardless!
Fingers crossed it will genuinely be an update or even upgrade and not just a Switch 2 version that you get for free if you have the original digitally or something along those lines (hopefully that will be the case based on the little they said, but we'll see) - regardless, looking forward to finally giving Tunic a try even more than I already was when this comes out and I have the time for it!
Haven't tried it myself yet, but looking forward to doing so and in the meantime hearing of even more games benefiting from this here on Nintendo Life (people have already mentioned several ones in previous comment sections) - so glad Nintendo added this and that most, absolutely me included, are happy about it!
Love to see such a collab (and even more so since you just have to log in to get these items) - looking forward to playing more Street Fighter 6 including these additions as part of my gaming schedule and eventually those Mega Man games, starting with Star Force considering that I've been watching the anime on YouTube thanks to Capcom putting it also there at least for a limited time!
My favorite addition is Arle, but these are all great character picks and the music is welcome, too - so looking forward to them all whenever they come out (and of course taking part in their respective festivals on stream as usual unless I straight up can't do so)!
Love to see this soundtrack coming to Nintendo Music - that said, personally I'll listen to it in game first and foremost whenever its time comes for my channel (I've played it before, but never finished it)!
Love to hear that people here in the comments have already tested it with several games and that it's great (thanks in particular to @JaxonH for the pics) - I still have many Switch games to play for the first time so I'm really glad that I'll be able to do so also in handheld while still having the benefits of docked and of course I'm so happy for everyone further enjoying games thanks to this, too!
Oh wow this is a big update, while as mentioned the highlight is definitely Handheld Mode Boost there are so many great additions overall (those GameChat options, accessibility for those languages, individual Airplane Mode toggles etc.) - I've just downloaded it and I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing it in action myself!
Thanks for the review, not as interested in this one personally considering the genre (and I'd give other games in it a try before this anyway) - regardless, glad to hear it's great also on Switch 2 for those who are!
Thanks for the review, sad to hear that happened to the development studio of this game and even more so after hearing how good it is (and in general games by them are) - anyway, glad this managed to come also to Switch 2, absolutely interested in giving it a try myself when I can!
Doubt anything will change due to this just like the previous times it happened to other companies - if anything ever does change it will most likely start with SNK as they wholly own that as mentioned also by the article, but I'm not convinced at all about that either (personally, I'm more worried about those already changing the contents of games if not straight up banning them, in addition to Nintendo as in mostly Nintendo of America and then unfortunately by extension Nintendo of Europe there's the whole matter of the mass removal of games due to payment processors from Steam etc.)...
Simpler (and so might appeal to those not interested in more flashy ones), but still really nice and regardless, I'm happy for those going for any of these - doubt me included although apparently they will be available here in Italy as well, that's pretty cool!
As long as their games keep on being played, watched etc., the many versions of Zelda and so their VAs will keep on existing - thanks to all of them for the memories (of course to a lesser extent personally when it comes to those in other languages including English since I play with the Japanese voices whenever available, but still)!
Love to hear it, fingers crossed it keeps on selling (already got the Generation Pack myself) - looking forward to seeing and hearing more about the announced additions whenever they're ready!
Really hope that they finally solve the supply issue in the UK so that Pokopia can sell even more also at retails other than digitally - clearly people are interested, it's in 4th despite that!
Anyway, personally happy also to see Requiem still in 1st, Mario Kart World in 2nd, WWE 2K26 debuting in 3rd, Legends Z-A in 5th, Stories 3 debuting in 6th and selling the most on Switch 2 (so yet again the silent majority cares about the games themselves first and foremost), New Horizons in 9th, Fatal Frame II debuting in 10th, Wilds in 11th, Bananza still in 12th, 8 Deluxe in 16th, the Galaxy bundle in 17th, The Witcher III in 18th, Street Fighter 6 in 20th etc.!
Suspected so but thanks for the confirmation - it's pretty funny in more senses than one but also convenient that even that little counts as a house (also considering the trick to make a "Pokémansion", thanks for sharing that in the comments)!
Happy Mother's Day to those celebrating it today (here in Italy and funnily enough most countries it's on the second Sunday of May) and as others have already said superb article to celebrate it - while my parents didn't go to the extents your mother did I have to thank them for all the games they got for my older siblings first and eventually also me, it's thanks to those that I got to experience almost all Nintendo consoles and even a couple of extra ones and so became such a big videogame in general and in particular Nintendo fan!
Here are my comments to the main letters as usual:
yeah, I'd rather see Miyamoto-san (and the same applies to anyone else) do what he wants to do as he luckily has the possibility to do that, especially after so many years of working mostly if not exclusively on videogames - not to mention that Mario, Zelda etc. as in the IPs are his creations as well so he is actually still working on those, just in a different way;
dubious definition of "indie" aside (just to make an example of what I mean, the developer of Pocket Card Jockey is Game Freak), it doesn't make sense for Nintendo to straight up publish indies nowadays when there are countless publishers dedicated to that while yes, they're still publishing if to a lesser extent smaller and so less expensive games, based on that factual criteria including Drag & Drive etc. regardless of personal opinions;
good to know how games are ordered on that tab and it's pretty interesting (and not gonna lie, also funny and not just considering Senran Kagura Burst) seeing which games are included and in which positions based on that;
the first parties will come, not even a year has passed and here is a reminder of how the situation actually was on Switch over the same period, not to mention previous Nintendo systems and in general - that said, it's great to see such third-party support on Switch 2!
As much as I appreciate Europe/Japan showing more characters (and it's also nostalgic for me), I'm definitely going for North America since it shows also a court and items and so more contents of the game in general - too bad that neither actually has the titular 3 on 3 teams... although funnily enough the artwork used for the North America box art would have exactly that including Moguri which is one of the peculiarities of this and Mario Sports Mix due to being developed also by Square Enix plus a Lakitu and a flying ship if it weren't cut as can be partially seen also in the second related article, but I'll share it fully here!
Makes sense and yeah, even more so considering how big the previous expansion is based on what I've heard - anyway, looking forward to giving Cyberpunk a try myself when I can (got a copy at launch so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it)!
Nice, happy for those going for any of these (not me included at least for now) - that said, it's great that the previous Hori wheels also work for those who already have them!
@AstroTheGamosian For some reason Nintendo Life didn't notify me about your comment - anyway, thanks for the recommendation (and even if I don't ever watch the series properly myself what you mentioned about it is pretty interesting to know)!
Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:

Guardians of Azuma (advanced the story and so explored a new island - also did some bonding quests; 125/?? Main, 111/?? Bonding Quests - 93/?? Bestiary - 16/45 PescaPedia - all Kamiwaza, 26/36 Quests, 4/6 Battles, 2/16 Bonds and 6/8 Everyday Life Seals);
Fantasy Life i (started Chapter 7 - also did a couple of requests and several Life quests and so ranked up the Paladin and Mercenary Lives; 6 Chapters - Lives 3 Master 4 Expert and 7 Adept Rank - 59 Personal Requests - 86/148 Monsters, 76/138 Resources, 18/49 Strangelings, 18/50 Characters);

Bananza (completed Sublayer 400 - also continued Emerald Rush; game finished, 4 layers completed - 578/777 Banandium Gems, 547/696 Fossils, 105/117 Discs - VoidCo 7 Rewards);
Pac-Man World 2 (completed 1 level; game finished, 7 Worlds, 28 Levels and 13 Mazes completed);
Age of Imprisonment (did 7 aside quests - also did some quests; 3 Chapters, 15 Battles, 68 Aside Quests and 129 Quests);
Persona 3 Reload (played up to 5/1 not included; 2 Charm and Courage, 1 Academics - 1 Rank 3, 2 Rank 2, 4 Rank 1 Social Links - 9% Compendium);
Trails in the Sky 1st (redid the tower but fully and so advanced the story; Junior Bracer Rank 8 7/30, 7/?? Requests - Rewards 28/??, Achievements 3/43 - Standard Menu 1/28);
Tennis Fever (did Doubles Mushroom and slightly continued the Adventure; 2 Cups - 10 Courts, 22 Characters, 9 Rackets);
Pokopia (went around my first Dream Island, did some requests and started the new area; 27 Pokédex, 22 Habitats);
Mario Advance 2 (finished the game and started the Special Zone; SPECIAL /90)!
Hope the "turn-based combat against a slime enemy" means that Tomodachi Quest is back, but it could be just one of the dreams - anyway, glad to hear it got rated and so it's getting ready for release, so excited to play Living the Dream myself as soon as my copy arrives and I have a free slot in my gaming schedule for it!
Love to hear it, fingers crossed it keeps on being this successful - so looking forward to playing the Octopath Traveler series myself starting with 0 when I can!
"He's finally back to kick some tail"... half jokes aside (luckily DK wasn't really gone, but at the same time he didn't have this kind of presence), I'm so glad Bananza has been an overall success for its creators and also the many if not most players enjoying it, me included - so looking forward to seeing what they'll come up with for DK and co. next whenever that happens!
I'd also say C is the best one for the reasons already mentioned in the article (chat/communication/conversation first and foremost, but it's cool that it harmonizes with the other letter buttons, too) - anyway, pretty cool that they shared this and I'm so glad they included Game Chat for those interested in it, me included even though I haven't had the chance to use it yet... and I'm sorry, but once more it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation, I unfortunately remember how much people complained about the lack of such a feature throughout the Switch gen, not just Wii U/3DS and now that it's present they're complaining about its presence!
It's always pretty funny when different games come up with similar ideas at the same time - anyway, couldn't agree more that it's OP, but it's fun and the latter is absolutely what matters the most... in fact, while I quite like most Bananza transformations I'd say Elephant is my favorite exactly because of that (by the way, definitely checking out the full interview when I can)!

Re: Video: How To Build A 'Real' House In Pokémon Pokopia
Suspected so but thanks for the confirmation - it's pretty funny in more senses than one but also convenient that even that little counts as a house (also considering the trick to make a "Pokémansion", thanks for sharing that in the comments)!
Re: Feature: Thank You, Mum, For The Last Ocarina Of Time
Happy Mother's Day to those celebrating it today (here in Italy and funnily enough most countries it's on the second Sunday of May) and as others have already said superb article to celebrate it - while my parents didn't go to the extents your mother did I have to thank them for all the games they got for my older siblings first and eventually also me, it's thanks to those that I got to experience almost all Nintendo consoles and even a couple of extra ones and so became such a big videogame in general and in particular Nintendo fan!
Re: Mailbox: Senran Kagura Mysteries, First-Party Indies, Miyamoto Tragedies - Nintendo Life Letters
Here are my comments to the main letters as usual:
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Mario Hoops 3 On 3
As much as I appreciate Europe/Japan showing more characters (and it's also nostalgic for me), I'm definitely going for North America since it shows also a court and items and so more contents of the game in general - too bad that neither actually has the titular 3 on 3 teams... although funnily enough the artwork used for the North America box art would have exactly that including Moguri which is one of the peculiarities of this and Mario Sports Mix due to being developed also by Square Enix plus a Lakitu and a flying ship if it weren't cut as can be partially seen also in the second related article, but I'll share it fully here!

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Has "No Plans For Additional DLCs Or Expansions"
Makes sense and yeah, even more so considering how big the previous expansion is based on what I've heard - anyway, looking forward to giving Cyberpunk a try myself when I can (got a copy at launch so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it)!
Re: Mario Kart World Hori Racing Wheels Releasing For Switch 2 This Month
Nice, happy for those going for any of these (not me included at least for now) - that said, it's great that the previous Hori wheels also work for those who already have them!
Re: Review: Star Trek: Voyager - Across The Unknown (Switch 2) - Merciless But Ultimately Satisfying Survival Strategy
@AstroTheGamosian For some reason Nintendo Life didn't notify me about your comment - anyway, thanks for the recommendation (and even if I don't ever watch the series properly myself what you mentioned about it is pretty interesting to know)!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th March)
Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Re: Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream Has Been Rated, Here's The ESRB Summary
Hope the "turn-based combat against a slime enemy" means that Tomodachi Quest is back, but it could be just one of the dreams - anyway, glad to hear it got rated and so it's getting ready for release, so excited to play Living the Dream myself as soon as my copy arrives and I have a free slot in my gaming schedule for it!
Re: HD-2D Series Octopath Traveler Hits Another Major Sales Milestone
Love to hear it, fingers crossed it keeps on being this successful - so looking forward to playing the Octopath Traveler series myself starting with 0 when I can!
Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Producer Can't Discuss DK's Future Just Yet, But Is Relieved After Fan Reception
Re: Nintendo Shows Off Icon Design Proposals For Switch 2's 'C' Button
Re: "It Probably Went Too Far" - Even Bananza's Creators Think One Transformation Is Overpowered
