As long as Xillia 2 eventually comes, and luckily that seems to be the case, I don't mind it not being the next remaster - anyway, love to hear that Berseria is coming to Switch and even more so with all the at this point usual quality-of-life enhancements, looking forward to playing it (and all the other Tales of already on Switch) myself when I have the time for it!
Sorry, but there's no good reason to score a legitimate, fully functional and chock-full of content game that low just because it isn't the reviewer's cup of tea (so far the lowest scores on Metacritic besides that are at the lowest 6/10 which I personally disagree with, but I can see where they're coming from at least), especially when unfortunately way too many games are lacking when it comes to some if not all those aspects...
Leaving that aside, glad to hear that it's overall a good/great game for most if not better although yes, I can see how it might not appeal to certain people - personally, I'm so looking forward to playing more Air Riders as soon as my copy arrives!
I guess you'll be able to get Zeraora in Legends Z-A then (hopefully beyond HOME)? If there already is a way to do so then I haven't heard about it yet myself... Anyway, love to see Zeraora getting a Mega and nice little trailer - looking forward to that along with the base game of Legends Z-A when my copy finally arrives!
Love to hear that Outbound is coming also to Switch 2 - I'll definitely play that version after it comes out and when I have the time for it if it's possible to change to it (I've supported the game on Kickstarter and apparently they should share an update about it now that Switch 2 is confirmed as a supported platform)!
@Reprise Yeah, I've seen it happen before when articles have just come out for some reason - I'd recommend coming back later to watch the video (and if it still won't be available after some time then I'll warn Nintendo Life about it).
Nice to see this coming also to Switch 2 at some point for those interested in it (not particularly me included even not counting the potential monetization, but still) - credit where credit is due, 2K is genuinely supporting the system and overall I love to see it!
Thanks for the review, I've never particularly minded the "chaotic" gameplay (despite never being that good at it, mind you) while I absolutely wanted more single-player content as much as I enjoyed the original Air Ride as is so this is perfect for me - so looking forward to starting the full game as soon as my copy arrives!
That's what you get by reducing everything to black and white from both sides - there's more to games than AI usage or not and there are different degrees to it (in the sense of how much it's used, if it actually ends up in the final product etc.)... what matters the most to me are the games themselves and even more so their creators as their livelihoods depend on them and that's exactly why it's a matter of how it's used to me, I absolutely refuse to sacrifice games and even more so their human creators in the name of a crusade against AI like I've seen happen for Everybody's Golf Hot Shots just for usage in "tree and leaf textures" for example while I'll always go against companies replacing their creators with AI first and foremost, forcing it in a way that makes their work harder instead of easier like apparently in EA's case and so on!
Nice, happy for those playing Splintered Fate and looking forward to doing so myself when I can (it's exclusively a matter of time since I finally have a physical copy of this - of course then I'll get the Metalhead DLC, too)!
Nice to see a collab between these two games, might get these items myself if I have the time to play Among Us before it ends - regardless, looking forward to properly playing (have played it before, but barely so) Stardew Valley when I can!
Unfortunate although it's not surprising considering that they're releasing Requiem on multiple platforms at the same time and on Switch 2 also Resident Evil 7 and Village (more likely and also more sensible as abovementioned to have a demo after just like we've seen for Outlaws to make a relatively recent example) - anyway, hope those going for this game will enjoy it!
@benmalsky198 Not sure why you included me when I just said that I'm more interested in playing the games first and foremost (I've never properly played them) - I even mentioned that I hope as in I wish that those watching this, clearly including you based on your comments, will enjoy it...
More interested in finally playing the Tomb Raider games myself when I have the time for them (starting with the classic trilogies which I already have) - that said, hope those watching this will enjoy it!
Nice, looking forward to finally playing this myself (have watched a friend partially playing it back in the day) now that it's also on Switch 1 and 2 - should play the classic games first and foremost though also considering that I already have them!
Thanks for the review, glad to hear it overall ended up being great (certainly looked like it based on what we've seen of it before, but still) - will eventually give it a try myself!
Nice, looking forward to seeing more of this DLC and then eventually playing it myself (of course after the base game which I'll start as soon as my copy finally arrives)!
Great interview, so glad I've finally been able to read it - it's worth mentioning once again that what's feasible for a company when it comes to fully physical releases etc. isn't necessarily for other ones... but of course I'm so glad to hear that at least for now it is and hopefully going forward will continue to be for Revolution, I'll even more gladly support their games as much as I can (looking forward to playing Shadow of the Templars first and foremost when I have the time for it)!
Already preordered a physical copy from my usual retailer here in Italy - can't wait to start playing the full release (took part in the test twice on stream) as soon as that arrives!
Yep, as soon as I saw the news here on Nintendo Life this morning I downloaded it - for those interested in it, not only it's a free download on the Japanese eShop so you exclusively need a Japanese account to get it there, but it actually has multiple languages according to your system language even if you download it from there, for example I can confirm that it's currently in Italian for me (so it's even weirder that it hasn't come out worldwide yet, maybe they're waiting until they're able to release also the related My Mario products?)!
As usual should check when I can which games among these interest me and aren't already in my Deku Deals wishlist if I don't already have them - anyway, happy for my fellow Europeans going for any of these (and/or others games not mentioned here of course) thanks to this sale!
Unfortunately missed Wii Fit including this version back in the day (got to play it occasionally at others' houses, but still) - anyway, nice to see this soundtrack on Nintendo Music!
Didn't expect an update for this, but of course it's appreciated - happy for those already playing with this, looking forward to giving it a try myself (and of course it will be great also considering what has already been mentioned here in the comments for my niece when she's old enough)!
By the way, while I do feel for those not getting whatever game in their language and so straight up not able to play it I absolutely can't agree with those boycotting a game just because of that despite knowing one or more of the included languages themselves - you're just risking getting less games of that kind from their company (along with negatively affecting their creators and I'm sorry, but my empathy goes towards them first and foremost)...
Love to hear it for those playing Tactics - looking forward to doing so when I can (in this case not just when I have the time for it, but also because my copy hasn't arrived yet due to delays)!
Yeah, not surprised, especially considering that these are the UK charts - curious to see how it will fare in the Japanese ones (and of course also in general whenever we get to hear about that)... Anyway, personally happy to see Mario Kart World in 3rd, Legends Z-A in 4th, Bananza in 6th, 8 Deluxe in 9th, Hogwarts Legacy in 10th and selling the most on Switch 2 followed by Switch, the Galaxy games in 12th, New Horizons in 13th, Jamboree in 15th, Switch Sports in 16th, Age of Imprisonment in 17th (as much as I wish it were higher), Wonder in 21st etc.!
Yeah, like others here I'd say Clair Obscur will most likely win - regardless of any awards (as much as I'm glad for those who'll win them and how nice it is to see Bananza among these nominees), so many great games came and are still coming out this year and I couldn't be happier!
Overall I'd say they're good and I like them - looking forward to seeing more of this movie (especially footage of it whenever they're ready to show it)!
Thanks for the review, unfortunate to hear for those interested in playing this (not particularly me included, but still) - maybe it can be improved to at least some extent through patches, but it seems like they should've ported it to Switch 2 instead!
Not sure if I'll get either myself but still, they're pretty cool (and it's nice that there's one available also to those who don't have NSO) - happy for those going for them!
Now this is more interesting since it's an intended look at the characters (as much as I'm still more interested in seeing the movie itself in action whenever they start releasing trailers) - overall looks nice, looking forward to seeing more about the Zelda movie, especially the abovementioned!
As mentioned before so glad that Chunky and Lanky are back even just as statues - hope those going for them will enjoy them (most likely not me included as I doubt I'll have finished the game by then even though I'm getting closer and closer to it, in fact I've just been able to visit DK Island for the first time)!
@DennyCrane Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind for whenever I finally play my first Resident Evil - glad to hear that your favorite is REmake (and yes, if I ever play it myself I'll let you know)!
A hopefully thought-provoking counterpoint to this - wouldn't it be better if Starmie (in general and in particular Mega Starmie) were simply itself, i.e. a Pokémon? Just like whoever person should be themselves...
@DennyCrane It's more likely than not especially considering that several of them aren't purely horror games (the most likely candidate in that sense would be 4 and also considering what I've seen/heard of it beyond that) - that said, certainly not anytime soon, way too many games that I haven't played yet and that come first for me!
Both would've been even better had they been able to implement mouse controls but yeah, gyro first and foremost for sure - happy for those playing Requiem on Switch 2 (potentially me included if I give Resident Evil games a try at some point despite their genre)!
Here are my comments to the main letters as usual:
don't particularly mind it myself because not only language is on constant evolution, but also it isn't strange at all for English verbs to be both transitive and intransitive;
looking forward to seeing what short films made by Nintendo Picture they'll show us next no matter the IP personally (but of course I'd gladly take an F-Zero one etc.);
let me also yet again thank Nintendo Life for all the games they cover even just with news article if not also reviews and so on, especially the lesser-known ones (as for Trails in the Sky specifically I'm so looking forward to playing it myself as soon as I can) - can't think of a single series or even just game that's perfect for me, there are way too many that I absolutely love;
maybe even in the second half of next year, but my guess is 2027 at the earliest (would obviously love to have a new 3D Mario sooner rather than later as much as I'm having a smashing time with Bananza and I definitely can wait thanks to all the games I haven't played yet);
as much as I'm not interested in that aspect of Mario Kart World personally of course I can and do appreciate it anyway and it's sad seeing it and the game in general disregarded - as for me, I'm still quite enjoying playing it casually (but obviously am looking forward to the practically inevitable updates whenever they happen, fingers crossed sooner rather than later);
sorry, but I heavily disagree, especially when like in this case people mention "very little innovation" despite the latest mainline Pokémon games being the most innovative ones when it comes to the aspects that matter the most (not just to me apparently based on the not only constant, but increasing sales), i.e. gameplay, game structure and so on;
fingers crossed for Bubsy 4D, it certainly is promising and I'm also looking forward to playing all the other platformers mentioned that I unfortunately haven't played yet (in Yooka-Replaylee's case it's also because I'm waiting for my physical copy to arrive, but still)!
Europe for me as it shows more clearly and more characters (the wealth and variety of characters is a signature feature of Inazuma Eleven) and a concrete background - I like the action pose on the Japanese box art, though!
Love to hear it in general and also personally as I want to eventually play a couple of these games myself while Xenoblade Chronicles X I'm currently playing - fingers crossed they (not only Nintendo, but also third parties and I bet it's more if not exclusively due to the latter that certain games including popular ones like Nier still have problems) will keep on fixing the backward compatibility so most if not all games with issues will be playable as intended on Switch 2, too!
Again, hope it will actually be available for all current Switch owners, i.e. regardless of them having a digital or physical copy (more likely than not, but it all depends on how they'll implement it and we've just seen the counterexample of Kiwami) - that said, so glad Red Dead Redemption is getting a Switch 2 upgrade and even more so since it will be free, looking forward to finally playing this game when I can even more than I already was and fingers crossed Red Dead Redemption 2 eventually comes, too!
The games themselves and even more so their creators are what matters first and foremost to me so I absolutely hate to see it like others here and yes, this is actually anti-consumer AND anti-creator - shame on Nintendo of America, censorship sucks in general but preventing a game from releasing at all (in certain regions, so glad at the very least that it's practically always limited to NoA and so by extension NoE and so the Japanese versions still get released) is utter bs!
Thanks for the review, looking forward to giving this a try myself when I can (and even more so after the free Switch 2 upgrade comes out) - not before World of Assassination though also considering that I already have it!
It worked at first and then stopped at some point for some unknown reason, but I'm not sending my dock to Nintendo just because of this reason (and certainly not until I have only that dock, I need it for my channel) - luckily wireless has been perfectly fine!
Wouldn't be surprised if it were confirmed, but either way I'm more interested in seeing actual footage of the movie whenever they're ready to show it - for now I'm looking forward to the upcoming Mario movie first and foremost considering that it's coming out way sooner (and to be honest also my preference for animated movies, but I'm still quite curious about the Zelda one anyway)!
Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Fitness Boxing (3, did Lin's 4th Box-and-Bond; 3 did 4 Box-and-Bond for Lin - FotNS did Battle Mode);
Ring Fit Adventure (did 1 level and so finished World 12; 7 Worlds completed and 5 finished);
Tears of the Kingdom (continued going around to find the remaining Voice Memories, found all those in the Sky; all Towers, Tears, Tablets, Lightroots, Shrines, Temples, Sidequests, Caves, 185 Voice Memories and 181 Koroks);
GameCenter CX (completed the 7th game; first GameCenter CX, 7 Games of the second one completed, second GameCenter CX and 2 Games finished);
Freedom Planet 2 (did 1 stage as Carol; Story as Lilac - 21/63 Badges);
Jamboree (continued getting the remaining Minigame achievements - also got a photo; all Mini Stars, 95/116 Achievements, 27/30 Photos);
Brothership (started collecting Bond Energy - also did what should be the actual final sidequest; all Reefs, Islets and Sidequests, 20 Islands, 1200 Lumenade, 24 Challenges);
Dragon Quest III (went around a new town and castle; 14 Dungeons, 85 Mini Medals);
Persona 5 Tactica (did 2 missions; all Quests, 3/4 Kingdoms, 50/52 Missions, 29/30 Hideout Conversations);
Legends Arceus (continued going around to catch all Pokémon; 26/27 Missions and 85/122 Requests completed - Pokédex 222 Seen, 203 Caught and 119 Max Research Level);
Xenoblade Chronicles X (went around the city to get new missions - also did a couple of normal ones and got a Heart-to-Heart; 5/?? Chapters, 13/?? Affinity, 26/?? Normal, 36/?? Basic Missions and 28/?? Heart-to-Hearts - Mira 17,17% - 69/204 Story, 29/315 Combat and 49/222 World Achievements);
Guardians of Azuma (advanced the story and so unlocked and did a lot of bonding quests; 79/?? Main, 38/?? Bonding Quests - 50/?? Bestiary - 6/45 PescaPedia - 14/36 Quests, 3/6 Battles, 1/16 Bonds, 5/8 Everyday Life and 5/7 Kamiwaza Seals);
Fantasy Life i (slightly advanced the story and so unlocked a new island - also did some Life quests and so found a Strangeling; 5 Chapters - Lives 14 Apprentice Rank - 35 Personal Requests - 35/128 Monsters, 36/130 Resources, 7/49 Strangelings, 7/50 Characters);
Mario Kart World (did a Grand Prix; 14 ? Panels, 30 P Switches and 10 Peach Medallions in Free Roam - 96 Characters, 33 Vehicles and 226 Stickers);
Soul Calibur II (did the regular Stage 3 of Sub-Chapter 3 in Weapon Master; Arcade as 1 character - Weapon Master finished, 2 Chapters and 1 Sub-Chapter completed);
Street Fighter 6 (continued doing the currently available sidequests and so also unlocked a new master in World Tour; World Tour 7 Chapters and 14 Sidequests);
Yeah, I'm waiting (and really, really hoping) for more rhythm games of this kind on Switch 1 and/or 2 before considering getting one of these controllers myself - that said, so glad that we're getting such quality ones for those interested in them!

Re: ICYMI: Red Dead Redemption's Switch 2 Release Is A Free Upgrade For Switch Owners
Re: Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack Switch Western Release Cancelled
The games themselves and even more so their creators are what matters first and foremost to me so I absolutely hate to see it like others here and yes, this is actually anti-consumer AND anti-creator - shame on Nintendo of America, censorship sucks in general but preventing a game from releasing at all (in certain regions, so glad at the very least that it's practically always limited to NoA and so by extension NoE and so the Japanese versions still get released) is utter bs!
Re: Poll: Have You Had Issues With The Ethernet Port On Switch 2's Dock?
@Glassneedles Funnily enough I've just seen the other comments mentioning it, I'll definitely give that a try when I can - thanks for telling me!
Re: Mini Review: Hitman: Absolution (Switch) - A Decent Port Of The Series' Black Sheep
Thanks for the review, looking forward to giving this a try myself when I can (and even more so after the free Switch 2 upgrade comes out) - not before World of Assassination though also considering that I already have it!
Re: Poll: Have You Had Issues With The Ethernet Port On Switch 2's Dock?
It worked at first and then stopped at some point for some unknown reason, but I'm not sending my dock to Nintendo just because of this reason (and certainly not until I have only that dock, I need it for my channel) - luckily wireless has been perfectly fine!
Re: Rumour: Zelda Movie Production Set Footage Has Supposedly Leaked Online
Wouldn't be surprised if it were confirmed, but either way I'm more interested in seeing actual footage of the movie whenever they're ready to show it - for now I'm looking forward to the upcoming Mario movie first and foremost considering that it's coming out way sooner (and to be honest also my preference for animated movies, but I'm still quite curious about the Zelda one anyway)!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (15th November)
Tonight I'm not seeing my friends so I'll just continue with my schedule of alternating between:
Re: Review: PDP Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller For Switch 1 & 2 - A Beautiful Axe In Need Of More Games
Yeah, I'm waiting (and really, really hoping) for more rhythm games of this kind on Switch 1 and/or 2 before considering getting one of these controllers myself - that said, so glad that we're getting such quality ones for those interested in them!
