@Saad_Moonwalker They could've capped it if they wanted, but they didn't so on Switch 2 it runs better regardless of how they implemented it - while of course it would be nice if it were better also visually thanks to a proper update/upgrade (no thanks to exclusively a dedicated version à la Square Enix etc.), unsurprisingly many me included will gladly take the higher performance first and foremost and even more so in a game of this kind...

Nice that Cities Skylines is getting a Switch 2 version and even more since luckily there's a "upgrade" at least in the form of a hefty discount for those who have the Switch one - not me included, but even more so considering this I'll consider giving the game a try at some point!

Glad you enjoyed the previous times you played Elden Ring regardless of how far you got in it Jim, but nice that this time you're continuing playing it beyond its "Great Plateau" (of course also thanks to the portability and luckily overall quality of the Switch 2 version, good thing they took their time with it) - looking forward to giving it a try myself after having played Lies of P when I can!

Yeah, my guess and also hope because it would be absolutely ridiculous otherwise is that they just put the decimal separator in the wrong spot by mistake - if that's the case fingers crossed they'll fix this sooner rather than later and regardless, hope nobody will buy this at such a price!

Ah yes, I remember when we heard about this the first time here on Nintendo Life - glad it now has a precise release date for those interested in it (potentially me included although not anytime soon also considering that I should play Vampire Survivors which I already have first and foremost in addition to Zelda as already mentioned by the article etc.)!

Glad most really enjoyed it so far and nice to hear more about the single player in general and Island Crown in particular here - preordered it myself and absolutely looking forward to it (bet many will go for it as well sooner or later considering how much the previous Switch Sports sold, 18.32 million and so just barely outside the top 10 of best-selling Switch games is wild)!

Hope those going for GTA enjoy it but yeah, as already mentioned here I also can't wait for it to come out so that the situation goes back to normal more than anything else - Nintendo just keep on doing their own thing for better or worse (luckily mostly the former and especially when it comes to way more important matters than this like not laying-off their employees etc.)...

@Alcea Not sure why I didn't get notified of your reply but anyway, there's a negative GKC fully share with physical and one with digital: having to put and keep in the cartridge every time you play and occupying storage respectively - personally, I'll gladly take GKC and so all the other benefits of physical they still have myself most of the time (definitely not skipping a game just because it's digital-only etc.) and even more so them being available as an option instead of exclusively digital like it already is or is becoming on other platforms, you people do you...

Glad they're further polishing Orbitals according to players' feedback - already have a physical copy, but haven't tried it out yet myself (even more so considering that it's co-op only)... absolutely looking forward to doing so when I can!

Glad to hear Rise sold that much - while Monster Hunter in general isn't my cup of tea I quite appreciated several aspects of that game specifically when I gave it at least a try myself (and yes, it would be great if it got a Switch 2 Edition at some point)!

Downloading the apps and watching the new episodes of the stop motion series immediately and will consider getting also some physical products at some point for my niece (other than of course as collectibles) - love to see the My Mario line continuing!

Have already seen the cards and icons (the latter I already had, they're returning ones) while I didn't know this was the Nintendo Music addition for this week, nice - I love Majora's Mask, absolutely including its soundtrack!

Will test it when my copy arrives, but being three separate apps luckily you should be able to download one at a time as a comment also pointed out when we heard of the file sizes for the first time - anyway, so looking forward to my copy to arrive to finally play these games myself when I have the time for them (obviously skipped the cloud releases, man am I glad we're finally getting proper ports)!

Thanks for the review, even more excited than I already was considering what's mentioned here including Switch 2 control features, accessibility options etc. to finally give Witcher III a try myself by playing this version at some point - wouldn't have time to do so right now anyway, but I'm waiting to see if they'll release a physical version, otherwise I'll buy a Switch physical copy and get this digitally thanks to the upgrade (by then they'll most certainly have further improved this already excellent version)!

This is the kind of game that could definitely have an offline version, sad that one isn't planned (not straight up confirmed in this case, but since it isn't mentioned I seriously doubt it) - that said, overall had fun playing the main story and I finally got to try Denpa Men thanks to this game so I'm glad it happened!

Also personally happy for Minecraft Dungeons II debuting in 2nd (and even more so considering that it sold the most on Switch 2), World in 4th, Ace Combat 8 debuting in 5th, Witcher III in 6th and 11th, Pokopia in 7th, Tomodachi Life in 8th, First Light still in 12th, Lego Batman in 13th, Fortune's Weave in 15th (again, considering that these are the UK Charts it's still relatively high), Bananza in 18th, Legends Z-A in 19th, Trails in the Sky 2nd back to the charts in 20th (love to see the Switch 2 version selling the most followed by the Switch one), Dawnwalker in 21st, Lies of P debuting in 22nd (wish it were higher, though) etc.!

Couldn't care less either way as long as Capcom or whatever other company keep on making overall good if not better games and even more so don't lay-off their workers (in fact, they're actually hiring more of them regardless of genAI usage) - that said, glad others here have already called out the clickbait headline because in this case there actually isn't "AI-generation" involved in that sense at all...
Speaking of, if I applied the same logic of throwing the baby out with the bathwater applied to this and other "controversial" topics, I would've stopped supporting Nintendo Life a long time ago considering articles like this very one, that leak in the title and subtitle and so on!

This further shows why the complaints last time made no sense - while of course this remaster in general and in particular the Switch 2 version can and will be further improved it's already a massive upgrade as is so there's no good reason to not release it now...
Leaving that aside, looking forward to playing it myself at some point even more than I already was (still waiting to see if they'll release it physically, otherwise I'll buy a Switch physical copy and get this version digitally thanks to the upgrade)!

Japan for me because as usual GBA box arts benefits from the bigger space - that said, kudos to those who made the European one for keeping all the elements of that despite the constraints (not a fan of North America at all, by dropping the characters it could be the cover for any mech game)!

@LetsPatchItOut As far as I know Earth Defense Force 5 hasn't been delayed and so it should come out on October 8 - hope you have fun playing it!

Getting digital copies of The Witch's Bakery and Ratatan as I've supported them on Kickstarter, preordered physically Kingdom Hearts, Castlevania, Resonance (a copy for me and one for my sister's birthday), Switch Sports Resort, most certainly I'll get the digital upgrade for Minecraft (not saying for sure just because we don't know all the details yet) and there will be other additions for sure between the games mentioned in the article and comments either this month like in the case of the free upgrade for Epic Mickey which I'll get as soon as it comes out or more likely later and of course my physical copy of Lies of P has already arrived - no time for rest indeed and I couldn't be happier!

Good to know the game is getting all these additions at some point this and next year (along with visual improvements to the Switch 2 version, it's even more logical that those will be incremental now that we know this) - happy for those already playing or going for it!

@roy130390 I'll yet again copy and paste the advantages that Game-Key Cards fully or partially share with other physical releases:

• they aren't tied to a single account so you can play them regardless of access to that (unlike digital games) - related to that, you can share and/or resell them without any limitations;
• they aren't tied to the eShop so if that eventually shuts down like the 3DS and WiiU ones you should still be able to download them (unlike Code-in-a-Box although it has to be said that even that is better than exclusively digital since it allows you to get games even after they're delisted as Gavin did in the case of Cruis'n Blast for example);
• they are tied to the servers, but as long as you have activated them the first time and someone locally has the game downloaded on their system you can install the game from them by using the Match Version With Local Users function just like you could for updates on Switch in case the servers ever shut down (reminder that not even the Wii ones have yet).

Again, if you or whoever else prefer going for digital considering its advantages that's fair but please, let's stop disregarding the abovementioned facts - most of the time I bet unintentionally, but that's exactly why the misinformation about GKC has to stop (and even more so when other platforms already are or are becoming exclusively digital)...

Don't have the time to listen to it fully right now, but the little I've already checked out is great - kudos to Garofolo for such videos and also making the sheet music and tabs available on his site and Patreon so that others can play themselves (potentially me included, but for now I'll just take out The Legend of Zelda: Best Collection book, 8-bit Music Theory ones etc. I already have)!
