Love to hear it, kudos to Sega - while I wish they were better when it comes to other aspects (although to be fair we have seen improvements on that front as well, look at CrossWorlds getting both a Switch 2 upgrade and fully physical release for example), I'll gladly support them as long as they're overall good when it comes to the games themselves and even more so their creators!
It should increase the sales to at least some extent, but I'm not sure by how much - while that certainly helped Switch 2 selling more than if only the more expensive region-free model were available let's be honest, Switch 2 and also Switch (not just before, but also after the release of the successor as seen in the Japanese charts) sell so well in Japan first and foremost due to their exclusives, being hybrid systems and so on!
Thanks for the review, getting this for sure then - don't know if I'll ever play it with the camera myself, but I'm still glad to hear that control scheme will eventually come also to the Switch 2 version!
Not watching this as it's extensive footage but still, nice for those interested in it - anyway, looking forward to playing Victory Road myself when I can (and so finally properly playing an Inazuma Eleven beyond the little I've played of Strikers on Wii)!
Nice little trailer and good to hear about the additional content - looking forward to playing this (of course only after finishing Dragon Quest III which I'm currently playing and then I & II)!
Keeps on looking great based on the trailer - also nice to hear about those new features etc. in the article - and happy that it now has a precise release date for those interested in it (not me included because as much as there are aspects appealing to me I know for sure that Fatal Frame games can be really disturbing and that's the biggest reason why horror games aren't my cup of tea)!
Love to see release dates for these characters - looking forward to them all, future ones (and most likely the relative festivals if previous ones are any indication) and of course the Switch 2 upgrade, too!
Doubt I'll play it myself (as usual don't have the time for it and I've already preordered the full release anyway) but still, always appreciate when games get demos and even more so ones that let you carry the save data over - looking forward to playing this myself as soon as my copy arrives and I have the time for it, even more so after watching the new story trailer!
Definitely interested in giving Dynasty Warriors a try and at this point I'll most likely start with this one (should make sense also considering the "Origins" in the title) - will try to get it for sure and hopefully also start playing it sooner rather than later!
Obviously I'm interested in this now that I know it exists first and foremost and that it's coming also to Switch 1 and 2, practically everything about it appeals to me (and even more so considering the additions to these versions) - looking forward to seeing/hearing more about it and eventually playing it!
Happy that this has been fixed (even though I didn't notice it myself, maybe because I'm playing with the Japanese voices?) - would gladly take Switch 2 enhancements if ever available, but honestly I'm enjoying playing this as is anyway!
Happy 30th anniversary Romancing SaGa 3 - looking forward to finally giving it (and also other SaGa games) a try myself when I can, so glad that it's also on Switch!
Nice that this is now coming also to Switch for those interested in it - will consider giving it (and also the previous game) a try myself at some point!
Overall agree about what Reggie said (practically the only exception being Air Riders in the sense that it's a collaboration between Nintendo, HAL, Sora and Bandai Namco so I'd say it makes sense that Nintendo doesn't have full control on its release despite being the publisher), especially the main topic of this article i.e. Xbox titles - fingers crossed that will improve next year for the sake of everyone involved, both the companies and players interested in those games!
@CaleBoi25 Ha ha although funnily enough you don't have to, I preordered Raiders as soon as my usual retailer here in Italy put it on their site (and so also got it discounted, of course appreciated although getting the game is what matters first and foremost) - in fact, I might start with that one and then go back to the previous ones as while most likely not ideal at least it would be a good incentive for me to finally start playing Splatoon properly instead of just the pretty limited experience I had with 1 back in the day!
Ooh, didn't expect the final battle (or at the very least Ganon) from Ocarina to be the next set, pretty cool - looking forward to seeing it in full whenever they're ready to show it!
Personally, I'm waiting for official confirmation first and foremost - that said, the game itself is what matters the most to me so no, I'm not skipping it only because of this potential reason (and I'll still take the benefits of physical Game-Key Cards have including being able to preorder it quite discounted, good luck doing so at launch with exclusively digital)!
@Markiemania95 @Dizzymario @LastFootnote Nintendo Life could and should keep official news distinct from unconfirmed information (and even more so not adding the latter as an update to a preexisting article without mentioning it being an update) - they have different article tags for a reason...
There's still a lot of good to Nintendo Life and so I'll keep on visiting and even supporting it for now, but don't be surprised if others will call you out like a comment above this one (you can see it with your own eyes unless it ends up being removed, not sure if mine will be kept either) or even stop visiting and/or supporting - updating an article exclusively to include Game-Key Cards despite it not being officially confirmed for this game...
Yes, so looking forward to seeing/hearing more about this game and then playing it whenever it comes out (speaking of, wonder if we'll get a more precise date - doubt the exact day for now, but maybe the season or something like that)!
Happy for those who have the Switch 2 Pro Controller (not me included yet - funnily enough I ended up getting a SNES Switch controller instead thanks to the recent restock)!
Didn't expect so many additions/changes, really nice - looking forward to hearing if some backward compatibility fixes are included, too (and most likely we'll soon get also an NSO update as usual)!
Too bad that Switch 2 enhancements aren't included for those who wanted them (could've been another Galaxy situation, but unfortunately it isn't) - regardless, glad that the update is out now, looking forward to its additions whenever I have the time for it (i.e. maybe also by continuing my personal save, but definitely at some point by replaying it for my channel)!
Love to see Dream Buffet on Nintendo Music not only for its exclusive tracks, but also considering all the returning ones as you can see here - as for the game itself, while I wish the online with randos lasted longer I'm so glad you can still play it offline in single player (even did so myself a couple of months ago on stream) and in multiplayer with friends, both locally and online if I recall correctly!
Good for him and yeah, I mostly stick to simple machines as well (what the game allows you to build if you want to is incredibly cool, though) - I'll eventually replay Tears of the Kingdom for my channel, but beyond replaying games for that I definitely don't have the time for multiple playthroughs, way too many games I want to play for the first time!
Mostly satisfied and most of them (don't know how many exactly, but due to the sheer amount of games I have on Switch for each game with issues I should have way, way more working ones and I still have my Switch for the former anyway) - that said, fingers crossed Nintendo and again also third parties (wouldn't be surprised if it were mostly if not exclusively Square Enix's fault that Nier hasn't been fixed yet) will keep on improving the compatibility so that more and more games can be played on Switch 2, too!
As expected after the leaks but still, absolutely love to see it - so looking forward to seeing/hearing more about this movie tomorrow (watching it on my own and if I can I'll also watch the Japanese version on stream the next day as usual)!
As for Prime 4 we'll see, there are still several weeks before it and honestly it didn't make much sense to have a Direct dedicated to that before Air Riders anyway... and by the way, somehow people are still surprised and/or complaining about this being a Direct when it has already happened with the first Mario movie!
@CaleBoi25 Unfortunately I doubt it will be anytime soon as I have to play the previous ones before 3 (I'm interested in the single player first and foremost) - that said, when the time for Splatoon comes I'll definitely mention and keep track of it in the What are you playing articles!
Not surprised considering how big the games above it are in the UK charts so personally I'm still happy, fingers crossed it keeps on selling (looking forward to seeing how it does in the Japanese charts, especially as those luckily include the unit sales)! Also personally happy about Mario Kart World in 3rd, Legends Z-A in 4th, Bananza in 8th, the Galaxy bundle in 11th, 8 Deluxe in 12th, New Horizons in 13th, Jamboree in 15th, Switch Sports in 16th, Generations in 20th and selling the most on Switch etc.!
Nice, happy for those in the US interested in any of these games etc. - as for me, not only I'm from Italy, but also I've already got (and also played except for Splatoon 3) them all, I'm only missing the Street Fighter 6 amiibo!
Do Nintendo Life expect people to use the Secret Stone of Time to play this so quickly?
Jokes aside, my copy hasn't arrived so I haven't even just started it yet - so looking forward to doing so as soon as it arrives and if it's anything like the previous Hyrule Warriors games (actually better based on what I've seen/heard including the review here) I expect it will be excellent if not even outstanding for me!
I'd say it's overall perfectly fine and I like it personally (so I'm voting for the latter in the poll)... but more than the design in itself I'm looking forward to seeing Yoshi in action - can't wait for the next trailer whenever they're ready to show it!
Nice that they fixed all these issues and pretty cool that they did so by implementing a fan translation in the case of the Simplified Chinese update - hope those playing Silksong will further enjoy it thanks to this (I'll eventually give it a try myself anyway, but how I wish I didn't have to worry about potentially not being able to finish the game like it unfortunately has already happened to others here)!
Wish Miyamoto-san the best until Mario's 50th anniversary and beyond first and foremost as a fellow human being, but of course also as a big Nintendo fan - looking forward to the games, movies etc. he (and obviously also everyone else involved in them) has been and will work on regardless of his role and thanks for everything so far!
@krogp Yes, both wireless and wired - for example, 8BitDo's Retro Receiver and Brook's Wingman Converter SNES respectively according to this (haven't tried either myself, hopefully someone else here on Nintendo Life can share their personal experience with these and/or other adapters).

Anyway, nice that they made this to make it easier to search for specific games - fingers crossed most if not all of the games still with issues will be fixed although again, it's not exclusively up to Nintendo but also their creators!
Didn't know about several of those instances of the 'Akira Slide' so thanks for including that video - anyway, great article and honestly I'm not surprised that Samus also does it now that she has a bike but still, it's a fun detail so personally I welcome it!
Definitely getting the new colors next time I play Street Fighter 6 as part of my gaming schedule - pretty cool also the part of the crossover for City of the Wolves (absolutely including the trailer here), too bad that the game isn't available on Switch 2... hopefully yet!
Personally I'll play with the Japanese voices of course but still, nice to see the full list of the English VAs and even more so their excitement in the linked posts (some I haven't checked in detail to avoid potential spoilers) - anyway, so looking forward to starting Age of Imprisonment as soon as my copy arrives!
Voting for Europe as it has more characters than Japan and it's nice to see both the original artwork and the in-game sprites (the Japanese one having just the artwork is perfectly fine as well, though) - the less said about North America in every sense the better...
I should finally go back and at least finish the Crash games already on Switch (haven't even started It's About Time unlike the other ones) but still, yes please to a new game in general - fingers crossed Crash finally comes back for good!
Didn't realize this was a timed Xbox exclusive last time we saw it, even happier that it's now coming also to Switch - will eventually give it a try myself for sure (in addition to the gameplay which seems interesting in general and potentially fun for me, like others here I absolutely love the artstyle)!
Interesting that it's a new in-house engine, pretty cool - sounds like it will be convenient for creators at Bandai Namco and I'm so glad for them (by the way, pretty funny choices for the emoji in the photo to hide the faces)!
I've never heard of GUN beyond its name so thanks for the article in this occasion (speaking of, happy 20th anniversary) - I'll consider giving it a try myself at some point... but I should finally play Red Dead Redemption first and foremost also considering that I already have it on Switch!
Ah, glad that it's just free until that date and then you have to pay for it, was worried that it wouldn't be available anymore at first - anyway, pretty cool and one more reason for me to get Civilization VII sooner rather than later if I can (and then play it when I have the time for it as usual)!
