@dew12333 Except that I've been commenting on this site way, way before starting my YouTube channel - don't get why someone (and not just me, I've seen it happen to others as well) being genuinely happy about videogames compels some people here to be rude towards them if not even make false accusations...

@Johnny44 So I shouldn't mention that I'm happy to see those specific games in those specific positions, even more so when both aspects usually quite differ between weeks in the Japanese charts?

Love to see Requiem in both 1st and 2nd and selling that much - unsurprisingly way more so on PS5, but still with some pretty good sales on Switch 2, too!
Also good for Tokyo Xtreme Racer in 3rd while personally I'm happy to see Mario Tennis Fever in 4th, Mario Kart World in 5th, Berseria in 6th (wish it sold better, though), Dragon Quest VII funnily in 7th and 8th, New Horizons in 9th and 10th and of course Switch 2 still on top of the hardware charts and despite that Switch in 2nd and 3rd!

Not as interested in this myself (and even if I were I'd give the original a try first and foremost), but pretty cool that there's now a sequel to Bulb Boy for those who are!

Thanks for the review, even happier that this is now also on Switch considering what's mentioned here (too bad about the platforming, but I don't think it will be a dealbreaker for me either) - certainly interested in giving it a try myself when I can!

Would've preferred a completely different rider instead of Kirby again, but I'll still take it (and even more so since the machine is the Dragoon) while Noir Dedede on Hydra is absolutely welcome - will try to get also these amiibo and fingers crossed they'll eventually make more of them!

Personally, I wasn't assuming that it's a roguelike/lite just because of the studios working on it but still, good to have confirmation - anyway, so looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this game and most likely playing it myself at some point (I should finally play at least some of the previous Castlevania games already on Switch first and foremost, though)!

As much as I could do without limited-time events in the first place, like some here have already said not only most likely they'll repeat, but also if I miss them it will simply be a "oh well, moving on" for me (I'll still enjoy the base game regardless, definitely not skipping it for such a reason) - leaving that aside, nice to see Pokopia icons, getting them all for sure!

Not sure if these are for me, especially 7 and Village, so as much I would've liked to get them all physically I'll wait and potentially get only Requiem that way unless the other ones come back as separate releases at some point - anyway, for those interested in getting Requiem sooner rather than later first and foremost and along with it the other games at a really low price this is a great offer, happy for those going for it!

Glad this is finally confirmed officially even just with such a tease - looking forward to finally seeing it whenever they're ready to show it and fingers crossed it will come also to Switch 2 for those interested (potentially me included although I'd like to give Shadows a try first and foremost)!

In addition to this further confirming my thoughts about the latest Indie World, it's nice to see games both on Switch 1 and 2, but especially the latter - anyway, looking forward to giving several of these a try myself (and most likely also those exclusive to the Japanese version, looking forward to seeing them when I watch that later on stream)!

I'd rather not see a "Dexit" situation again (and I'm saying that as someone who didn't mind that as much as others, this on the other hand would be way too extreme) while I wouldn't mind something à la Gen V again from time to time - that said, the Pokémon available in each game are simply options so you could just limit yourself, in fact I'm pretty sure I went for an exclusively gen 9 Pokémon team myself in Scarlet!

Thanks for the preview, looking forward to this even more than I already was considering the mentioned quality-of-life features (other than the aspects I already knew about courtesy of the announcement trailer) - can't wait for the review, but I've already preordered a Japanese physical copy of this and I'm excited to give it a try as soon as I can after it arrives, even more so considering that I've been watching the anime Capcom has been putting on YouTube for a limited time in the meantime!

Thanks for the review, even more interested in this than I already was - despite the recap at the start, I'll still play the original first (which I already have so it's exclusively a matter of finding the time for it, luckily both games being short will help so yet again that's more of a positive for me personally) and then move on to this even better sequel... so glad it has a Switch 2 upgrade and even more so for free, too!

Love to hear that Requiem has already sold so much (regardless of the platform although of course even more so on Switch 2 and as already mentioned in the article most likely that version sold pretty well) - so happy for both its creators and players, potentially me included among the latter at some point!

On the one hand I'm so glad that most are loving Pokopia that much, but on the other hand this is exactly why I don't particularly pay attention to scores in general and on Metacritic specifically (other than of course the contents of reviews being way more important to me) - it's wild, pun intended, that Pokémon Y is currently the best mainline Pokémon game according to those!

Great article, for me in addition to all that videogames most likely planted the seed of my passion for and so also studies of foreign languages in general and eventually Japanese in particular: being from Italy some of my first games, especially on the N64, weren't in Italian so I played them in other languages (not only in English which I started learning in elementary school, but also in French and/or Spanish like in the case of Paper Mario since they're more similar to Italian and the latter of those two also in Pokémon Stadium due to accidentally getting that version) - videogames can mean so much to people and that's one of the many reasons why I absolutely love them!

The classic day-one update to unlock the online, but of course while they were at it they fixed some bugs as well - anyway, so looking forward to playing Pokopia myself as soon as my copy arrives (on my own as part of my gaming schedule and also in multiplayer with my sister and her boyfriend from time to time, most likely precisely online)!

Unsurprising as for now it makes more sense to focus on the updates to 4 which has just come out in addition to the already announced other games by Bethesda - that said, fingers crossed we'll see even more Fallout games on Switch 2 in the future (and in general them further supporting the platform)!

Interesting, looking forward to seeing what this new RPG by Bandai Namco ends up being (and potentially playing it myself depending on what and how it is) - it's funny how so many announcements are happening this week specifically!

Wonder what happened for these to get delayed at the last minute although as usual I don't mind delays anyway (in fact, if games end up being better from the get-go, there's even just a little less crunch etc. thanks to those I'm all for them) - looking forward to these coming to Switch whenever they're ready!

Makes sense to add the two Virtual Boy Mario games while I didn't expect also GBA Mario vs. Donkey Kong, nice (so yet again a game getting a remake on Switch also came to NSO in its original form although of course not immediately, in this case a couple of years after) - nice way to celebrate MAR10 Day although I'm curious to see if they have more in store, for example even just one more trailer for the upcoming Mario movie and/or more info about already announced Mario games etc.!

To be fair, access to Birth and Naval Island will be new content to many if not most even among those who played these back in the day, me included - that along with the legendary beasts glitch fix, the unfortunate censorship and HOME support is certainly more realistic than completely reworking the game to add a "hard mode" and to a lesser extent also online functionality (especially without further rising the price which people are complaining about as is)...
Anyway, personally I'm so looking forward to replaying FireRed on Switch thanks to this rerelease (in Japanese for my channel, most likely as soon as I finish Mario Advance 2) - glad that those here already playing these are having fun and judging by their sales I bet that applies to the general public, too!

Have heard that this game eventually was much improved even on Switch - fingers crossed it will be even better on Switch 2 thanks to this upgrade (nice that it's free), if that ends up being the case then I'm even more interested in giving it at least a try at some point!

I'd say this was a pretty good Indie World in general and for me personally 8 - Great (maybe even more considering the games exclusive to the Japanese version, but I'm not fully checking those to keep them as a surprise for my stream tomorrow) thanks to the variety of games shown, a couple of big announcements, shadowdrops, games using Switch 2 features, even an exclusive and so on - my favorite announcements so far not considering the Japanese version as abovementioned were Denshattack!, My Little Puppy, Outbound, Ratatan (these two also considering that I've supported them myself on Kickstarter) and last but certainly not least Blue Prince!

It's cool that in addition to straight up sequels like Moonlighter there were some completely new games by creators famous for other series like in this case - anyway, will definitely consider giving Rotwood a try myself at some point!

Glad people here have already mentioned the benefits of physical that Game-Key Cards still have, as much as my preference is fully physical when feasible (i.e. without increasing even more the starting prices also considering all the complaints about those ever since the start of the Switch 2 gen, to not affect the performance of bigger games etc.) there are good reasons why others and I will still gladly take them over exclusively digital including code-in-box - anyway, regardless of whichever option they pick I hope those going for Pokopia will have fun with it and I'm so looking forward to playing it myself as soon as my copy arrives!

This game on the other hand I've quite heard of before, practically only great things about it (not seen though so I appreciated the trailer also in that sense) - so glad it's finally also on Switch 2, absolutely giving it a try myself when I can!

Haven't even just heard of this game before so it was an even bigger surprise for me - absolutely interested in it now that it's coming also to Switch 2 and great that there's a demo (not today for sure but I might check that out at some point, maybe even on my channel)!

Didn't expect them to bring back Purakoro (think I've seen the original ones before somewhere as they seemed kind of familiar) for the 30th anniversary of the series, pretty cool - fingers crossed more and more sets get released and eventually it comes outside of Japan, too!

Funnily enough exactly when I finally got a copy myself after the issues with my original preorder - anyway, love to see the full Air Riders soundtrack finally coming to Nintendo Music although personally I'll listen to it in game first and foremost (have just started Mario Tennis Fever so I won't play it immediately, but after finishing that as in playing the Adventure and unlocking stuff for sure other than of course occasionally playing both on my channel) while I'll check out the interview also out today as soon as possible!

Nice that we're getting also a Capcom Spotlight this week - most likely won't watch it live also considering the time (probably on my own the next day while I doubt also for my channel, we'll see), but I'm looking forward to the articles about it here on Nintendo Life at the very least!

Yet another great change - looking forward to finally catching one of the legendary beasts in these games myself whenever I play FireRed on my channel and get to that point (don't think I've ever done so before although if I recall correctly simply because at first I didn't know and then bother back in the day, not due to the glitch)!

Games meaning so much to people, absolutely including future devs making their own games inspired by previous ones (and of course that even more so applies to a franchise as big as Pokémon), is one of the many reasons why I love them so much - really interesting article and also yet another lovely way to celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary!

@Znake Sorry, but clearly most people (absolutely me included) care about the games themselves first and foremost, look also at how many players have concurrently played Requiem on the fully digital Steam - of course you do you when it comes to your own purchases, but please avoid making baseless claims about these and even more so other stats, that could get you in serious trouble in other contexts...

@chiptoon Except that the Generation Pack which is exclusive to Switch 2 and is completely comprised of Game-Key Cards is in 3rd - while there certainly are some people skipping this and other games on the system for that reason, these charts yet again prove how little the general public is bothered by GKC (not to mention all the digital sales not included here)...

Love to see Requiem in 1st and 3rd - the latter the Generation Pack so it sold pretty well on Switch 2 for sure, maybe even sold the most physically on that platform depending on the actual sales unfortunately not included and of course almost everyone went for that instead of Requiem on its own!
Also personally happy to see Mario Kart World still in 2nd, Legends Z-A in 6th, Skywalker Saga in 7th, Monster Hunter Wilds in 10th, New Horizons in 13th, 8 Deluxe in 15th, Bananza in 16th, Lego City Undercover in 17th, Cyberpunk in 19th, Berseria in 20th (wish it were higher at least in its debut week, but I'm not surprised considering that these are the UK charts), Mario Tennis Fever in 21st etc.!
