Again, Capcom is on fire and I love to see it - between these I'm interested in Onimusha first and foremost personally, but I'm so glad both are coming to Switch 2!

Ha ha, nobody upside down this time - jokes aside, looks great and so I'll even more gladly get this physically (I'm even considering the special edition, but we'll see)!

Love what they've shown of this and glad it now has a precise release date (would've been surprised if it hadn't got one, but still) - absolutely getting it and I'm even considering the special edition!

Not surprised that this is getting DLC but still, I absolutely welcome it - nice that underwater exploration is getting added for free (and of course the first wave of paid one is still related to that, really curious about the other waves whenever they come this and next year respectively)!

Can't wait to finally play Rhythm Heaven myself thanks to this upcoming one - love what they've shown of it today and yes, absolutely including the new modes (not sure when I'll play the multiplayer ones myself as that depends on my friends, but it's a cool addition anyway)!

Glad they're continuing to bring this trilogy to Switch 2 and even more so since this one got shadowdropped, too - hope those going for it will enjoy it (me included but not anytime soon since I haven't played the previous game yet)!

The "vibrant visuals" are cool, but I hope it will run better more than anything and would be cool if it included stuff like mouse mode etc. - anyway, glad Minecraft is finally getting a Switch 2 version for those interested in it (potentially me included at some point)!

@Ooyah Thanks for the further confirmation, I'll give it a try on normal at first then (by the way, I think I've heard that you can freely change the difficulty, is that true?) - definitely playing it at some point, just not sure when considering all the games I'm currently playing and upcoming ones that have higher priority for me!

As usual not a fan at all of such things being available only for a limited time, but beyond that it's a really cool idea - I'll definitely give it at least a try (most likely during the Bananza slot of my gaming schedule considering that the game is part of the DK Challenge for those who have it)!

So after all their "platform expansion" plans included Switch 2 - glad that's the case in general and also personally, definitely interested in playing Stellar Blade myself now that I'll be able to whenever it comes out on the system this year!

Guess this is one of the reasons, if not exclusively, why they haven't announced the Persona games for Switch 2 at least for now (I'd be surprised if they didn't eventually come) - regardless, glad this has been announced for those interested in it, absolutely me included!

Good for Velan Studios that they got to work on the upcoming Star Fox - so looking forward to playing it myself (the full release for sure, don't know if also the demo on my own and/or on stream)!

So glad all the Xenoblade games are getting Switch 2 Editions (even cooler that these will include some extras and not just resolution increases) - looking forward to playing all of them in order, starting with 1 whenever I finish playing X!

Feel like I should give Soulslikes a try starting with this one considering all the great things I've heard about it (including when it comes to difficulty options) - even more so considering that but also in general I'm happy to see it coming to Switch 2, too!

So glad this is Nintendo's 2027 reveal first and foremost on its own, but also considering all the Switch 2 Editions of the Chronicles games building up to it - absolutely looking forward to seeing and hearing more about it (and in the meantime slowly but surely playing all the previous games, first and foremost by finishing X which I'm currently playing)!

... Guess I'll start playing the Devil May Cry series with this one then (doubt I'll be able to do so as soon as it comes out, but still), especially after all the great things I've heard about it - anyway, yet again Capcom is on fire and I love to see it!

Thanks for the confirmation in the comments that this footage is straight up new as in not even shown during other summer showcases, thought so but wasn't sure - so glad this should be a day-and-date release and even more so that we're getting native ports of the previous games in the meantime, so looking forward to finally playing those myself (by the way, being able to carry the save data for those who got the cloud versions is a really nice gesture)!

My guess is that they're waiting to see how the closed network test goes before announcing the release date of the full game - regardless, glad that's happening for those interested in it (while I'd like to give the game at least a try I'm definitely not taking part in that instead of someone more interested in it)!

So glad the precise release date of Chapter 5 has been announced and even more so yet again during a Direct - happy for those playing it when it comes out (and I'll eventually play it myself whenever I finally start Deltarune myself, so far I've just watched others playing the first 2 chapters)!

Leaving that aside, personally I'm so excited for this anyway, looking forward to seeing and hearing more about it and then playing it whenever it comes out this year - the little they've shown looks great!

Glad to see Switch Sports continuing and even more so since now it's Resort time (love to see Wuhu Island and flying around it back in particular) - absolutely a fan of Wii Sports Resort myself and like what we've seen of this one so I'm quite looking forward to it!

And this is why I'll gladly stick to Pocket when it comes to the Pokémon TCG - that said, great article and I feel for those (especially kids, but also adults) who would like to approach the physical one as a hobby like it should be!

Glad to hear Street Fighter 6 sold that much, fingers crossed it keeps on selling - have been overall enjoying it myself ever since I got it thanks to the Switch 2 port (speaking of, wonder how much that specifically sold)!

Fingers crossed for the best when it comes to this upcoming game first and foremost (more likely than not considering that it's by Toys for Bob, but still) and then getting more in the future - absolutely looking forward to it and in the meantime I should finally play Reignited Trilogy myself!

Glad the headline got change, but at the same time do people seriously think Nintendo would announce DLC for World outside of the Direct that's happening on this very day?
Anyway, glad to already see more World music tracks coming to Nintendo Music - by the way, my educated guess is that these updates will be just extras and we'll still get regular ones considering that these are happening on Tuesday while the latter got moved to Friday (in fact, in hindsight I wouldn't be surprised if that change happened for this very reason)!

Surprised they announced it before the Direct but still, really cool - I haven't played these yet so I'll definitely consider getting this version and regardless, happy for others going for it (fingers crossed Square Enix bring other Switch games to Switch 2, hopefully including native ports of Kingdom Hearts)!

Immediately redeeming it to avoid potentially forgetting it - glad Champions is coming relatively soon also to mobile for those interested in playing it that way (personally, I'll stick to Switch 2)!

Nice that the sequel is coming also to Switch 2 (and yeah, considering the first game has just come to the system I'd also say it doesn't particularly matter that it isn't a day-and-date release) - hope those going for these games will enjoy them, potentially me included at some point!

I've just checked and Culdcept The First is available also separately on Japanese Amazon, as cool as the limited edition including both and extras is I'll most likely go for just the two games then!

So glad to see a game with a Switch 2 Edition and so upgrade for a change after all the games with "upgrades" only if you have them digitally - anyway, I've been curious about this game ever since it got shown (haven't played Culdcept Revolt on 3DS even though I think I picked it up before the eShop's closure), definitely interested in seeing and hearing more about it and potentially getting it myself... I'll actually consider the Japanese limited edition if still available considering what's mentioned about it here in the comments!

Love to hear it has already sold half a million copies - would be great if it sold even more and potentially 1 million, but with this Yacht Club should be "golden" as they said themselves and man am I glad that's the case (looking forward to playing my digital copy I got by supporting it on Kickstarter when I can)!

Had already heard about the update thanks to a comment here on Nintendo Life, but I certainly didn't see this coming, pretty cool - looking forward to the official announcement (most likely tomorrow during the Direct, but we'll see)!

More than "planned obsolescence" it should be defined as a big oversight since not even Nintendo became aware of it until early 2018 according to what's mentioned in this very article but then yes, also late response to the problem - anyway, I'm glad later Joy-Cons were better (based on both my own experience and others' ) and Joy-Con 2 even more so!

Nice predictions although as usual personally I'll just let Nintendo and third parties surprise me (apart of course from hoping to see more of the already announced games, in particular for me Fire Emblem for sure, potentially and hopefully also Persona news although that could come at a later time) - so excited to see what they have in store for us!

@SNES_Chalmers Unfortunately I'd say that's the case based on how it seems to be working, I also own it physically and there's currently no way for me to get the Switch 2 version for free - again, if only they released it as an actual upgrade (one thing is currently digital-only games like Deltarune for example doing this, another is games that got Switch physical releases years ago)...

And yet again it's not an actual upgrade, but a discount on the Switch 2 version if you have the Switch one digitally (is it really so difficult to release upgrades à la Switch 2 Editions, Red Dead Redemption etc. and so also for the sake of those who have games physically?) - that said, happy for those getting the Switch 2 version that way or for the first time!

Here it is as expected and not just because of the rumors - so looking forward to seeing what Nintendo and third parties have in store for us (as usual watching it live in Italian on my own, maybe even the Treehouse, and the next day the Japanese one for my channel)!

Yeah, could be that they're just waiting to announce them during a Direct for whatever reason, even the upcoming one and/or a later one if they need more time (glad the article about the performance update for Persona 3 Reload is included among the related articles, avoiding a repeat of that also be a reason) - regardless, I'd be surprised if both games didn't eventually come and I'm looking forward to them whenever that happens!

Thanks for the review, even more interested in playing this at some point - while I can see where you're coming from as usual it being short is more of a positive for me (and also expected considering it's by an indie dev and its starting price), I shouldn't particularly mind the other cons (again especially considering the abovementioned reasons) while everything else absolutely appeals to me!

Will be back later then for the other announcements, but even just the ones already present here (most got individual articles here on Nintendo Life) are great, definitely an improvement both in quantity and quality when it comes to Nintendo systems compared to previous years - yet another reason why I'm so grateful for Switch 2!

This I haven't even just heard of before, interesting and so I'm even happier that it's getting remastered - not sure if I'll play it myself, but glad it's coming also to Switch 1 and 2 (and great that there's a free upgrade from the former to the latter, too)!

Love to see Rebirth back to the charts in 4th thanks to the Switch 2 version!
Also personally happy to see First Light and Lego Batman still in 1st and 2nd (fingers crossed they'll sell well also on Switch 2 when they come to it), Pokopia in 6th, Requiem in 8th (even more so considering the good percentage of Switch 2 sales), World in 9th, Armored Core VI back to the charts in 10th, Yoshi in 14th, Legends Z-A in 16th, New Horizons in 18th, Pragmata in 19th, the Galaxy bundle in 20th etc.!

Hope they'll be fine despite the whole September schedule matter, but I'm glad this now has a precise release date - looks pretty cool and most likely I'll eventually get it myself (if not even day one since I'm just on Switch 2, but we'll see also depending on future announcements)!
