I should also mention that this is, to my knowledge, the first time the Granblue Fantasy IP makes a full proper appearance on a Nintendo console. Before this, two of its characters appeared as guest fighters in a very silly fighting game for the Switch 1.

This was the only highlight for me in the Partner Direct. I honestly thought Cygames had thrown Relink to the side but not only did they prove me wrong, they're also bringing it to Switch 2!

Anyway, hot take: Metroid Prime 3's two game overs (the 'normal' one and the 'Terminal Corruption' one) are underrated imo. I know most people considers them to be the weakest among the original Prime trilogy but I still find them very unsettling (in a good way) in their own right.

I honestly forgot they were still active (more or less) before this. Oh well.

The fact that Capcom actually got JAM Project on for a music theme is just wild on all levels.🤩

The 'Crossover Ambitions' bit is hardly news. In terms of gaming IPs that are famous (on a worldwide scale) for their crossovers, Fortnite is arguably the biggest of them, has been for a long time now.
