The 'Crossover Ambitions' bit is hardly news. In terms of gaming IPs that are famous (on a worldwide scale) for their crossovers, Fortnite is arguably the biggest of them, has been for a long time now.

This probably would have blown my mind 6-7 years ago when the game was still new, now its just 🤷‍♂️.

I don't usually mind DLC (though it depends on the content and the base game of course), but this is a refreshing change especially in this industry nowadays.

Either way this surely marks the end of Gioeli's partnership with Sega, not that it makes much of a difference since Crush 40 isn't used much at all these days. The last Sonic game they did a song for was Team Sonic Racing if I'm not mistaken and that was in 2019.

Rosalina's storytelling about her past is one of my favorite things of the character (and SMG1), so I love this idea. Unfortunately, that price is keeping me away from buying the book, and the fact that it won't include the new content is nuts.

Its good to see SMG2 re-released on modern hardware. Overall, re-releases of the Galaxy games is not for me, already own the originals, but good to see them nonetheless.

Now, seeing movie Rosalina in the SMB movie sequel? I'm ready!

For me the direct was somewhere between "average-ish" and "okay-ish". I give it a strong 6.

As nice as it is to see DK Island again I don't feel much motivation to get this DLC, at least not right now.

Meh, the gameplay could turn out, at the very least, decent enough.
I do like, however, how the series can still poke fun at itself.

I'm fine with the game just being on NSO but I can understand why most would want a remake.

Mario himself is fine and all but tbh I feel like it would have been much better if they just used Baby Mario instead (and the rest of the Star Children and other baby characters while they're at it).

Still don't like Fortnite but this was a well done trailer.
