I always forget that Trails is a subseries, but to have one of the biggest storylines & worldbuilding in all of JRPGs (and gaming in general) is pretty darn impressive. I'm not much of a Trails player but it does have my respect.

Would be nice if we could get a new Starfy game in the near future. The last time, to my knowledge, we heard anything of a potential sixth game was also 15 years ago, and I think it was also here in NL we heard about that.😅

Plus, Sega has been the owner of Atlus for a long time now, not to mention that they have RGG Studios. Use one of them to make a RPG game.

@N00BiSH : I kinda disagree, as making educational Youtube videos (in this case, the behind scenes within gaming development) generally involves hard work, but each to his own as people sometimes have different views and ways of taking breaks.

Personally I would have liked Sakurai to take a rest after being done with his videos, oh well.

As for the new game project he mentioned before, obviously either Smash 6 or a KI Uprising remaster.

Meh, Shovel Knight is still great and all but I won't get Shovel of Hope DX since I had more then enough fill of SK1 and SK in general for now. And the newly announced (3D-hinted) Shovel Knight mainline title is atleast a few years wait before we get to see it in action.

When it comes to Archie, the only character I really would have liked to see in the games was Thunderbolt the Chinchilla. She was a hilarious evil villian imo.

As for the IDW characters, I don't have any particular faves but I wouldn't mind seeing Clutch the Opossum make a mainline game debut. He's more or less IDW Sonic's version of Marvel Comics' Kingpin and it would be interesting seeing a underworld criminal mastermind scheming plans and creating trouble for Sonic and co. whenever they are not dealing with Eggman.

Another anniversary that makes me feel old again...😅😭

On-topic, I'm no amiibo person (strongly dislike having content locked behind toys-to-life stuff too) but I do expect Nintendo to chug out a couple more figures for the near future.

Ideally I would SA1&2, Heroes, Unleashed, and the first two Riders titles (not necessarily in this order mind) among many others, but I'm not holding my breath.

Excluding Antonblast because I already been gunning for it for a long time now, only Nikoderiko has caught my interest. Platformer with DKC Returns and Crash Bandicoot-like gameplay, and David Wise as the composer? It has my attention.

@Yalloo: I agree the god-awful pop song is trash, but in fairness Wise himself didn't make it (its a 2019 song by John Coggins, Devin Moore and Steve Kofsky), and I doubt he had any say on it being used for the trailer. I would wait to assume the worst until we hear some actual in-game music.

Man the US boxart cover is bad, I get that this is all part of Sega's "Year of Shadow" marketing plans but I don't like how they just slapped him inbetween Classic and Modern Sonic like that (the fact that the Sonics' cover artwork are from the original Generations makes it look even more awkward).

The JP cover, while looking more like something that should be used for a future SA2 remaster/remake, is way better in comparision.

Having a "Sonic Adventure" skin is pretty neat, even if the model itself doesn’t really look that much like the Dreamcast model imo.

I'm not the biggest fan of Homelander (or The Boys) but I was kinda expecting more unique abilities or attacks. Instead it almost feels like they just stitched together Injustice Superman into MK1.

Also, no offense to whoever is voicing Homelander here but its just not the same without Antony Starr.

Can't say I'm impressed since Shiver's works (their ports) are just bad, but Nintendo likely wants the company for their technical knowledge; in this case, porting 3rd-party games to the Switch (and Switch 2) if nothing else.
Only time will tell if Shiver will get better or not on their job in the long run.

And while this isn't exactly a "loss" for Embracer, the less that awful company has the better imo.

I don't think Sakurai would do it but it would be funny and neat if he and Nintendo worked together to somehow show off some of his Nintendo-related collections for the company's upcoming museum.
