On the other, it is made by the same devs who made that bad (imo) Thunder Ray game in 2023 so yeah, I wait for reviews but I don't have much hope for this tbh.

Wario Land 4 is still my personal favorite.☺️ I like most of the Wario platformer games really, though I'm lukewarm on Wario World.

I wonder if Sega will allow super forms by the Chaos Emeralds for any of the DC characters. I'm not holding out hope but it would be nice, I don't think the Sonic franchise has had any non-Sonic character in a crossover gain a super form since the Mega Man comic collab by Archie.

This looks good tbh, gives me vibes of Oddworld, Octodad, and Little Nightmares.

I'm more interested in seeing any Atlus characters in the game tbh. If we get any I wouldn't be surprised to see Persona, thats a given at this point, but I would like to see certain other Atlus characters like someone from Etrian Odyssey.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see some Angry Birds characters, with Sega owning Rovio and all.

Game looks cool, and nice that the extreme gears are back even though they are seemingly more of a gimmick now then actual alternate vehicles unless I missed something.

Assuming the leak images are legit, I don't mind the return of the Extreme Gears in Crossworlds. I still like a new you-know-what game myself but this is somewhat better I guess.

A theme park is a very good idea, but I like the idea of a village or city the best.

Not that I want it myself but I'm a little surprised they haven't attempted anything with Warioware. There is certainly something with the minigames that would fit like a glove on mobile.

The first Wario Land game I ever played and what led me to becoming a Wario fan. I'm happy.

I could be wrong but it sounds more like an industry connection event (basically GDC) than a consumer-facing event or trade show.
Still sounds interesting nonetheless.

That said, "iicon" is not a good choice of a name but oh well.

@Bobb : Correct. Nintendo has the current publishing rights for Bayo but otherwise yeah, AC and Bayo belong to Nintendo and Sega respectively.

I do hope that regardless of what becomes of Platinum at this point, Nintendo will continue to keeping AC an active IP. If the rumor of the canned sequel made at Platinum is true they could just take the IP to another studio to develop a new entry. I can easily imagine someone like Monolith working on it.

I don't believe we'll ever get the full story but I would really like to know whats been going on within Platinum lately.
I can maybe understand the removal of licensed games from non-gaming IPs (Legend of Korra, TMNT, and Transformers) but all the others I don't get. Like, why Sol Cresta for example? This game was not only rereleased not that long ago but its one of the extremely few games that Platinum fully owns (I think).

I kinda get where Layden is coming from. Sure the name is "bland" but after all these years of calling it the Switch 2, should we really have expected anything different?
Switch 2 is simple, it gets to the point and, as Layden pointed out, it has brand value and Nintendo knows that.

Cool intro. Not crazy about the song choice though but lets face it, there are WAY worse picks they could have gone with, so its not the end of the world.

Depends on who you ask. I for one am still pretty annoyed that they did practically nothing to celebrate Wario's last two milestone anniversaries (2019 and 2024).

I'm curious at what the new gimmick in the Mario Kart game will be. I hope its not the '24 players' thing spotted in the trailer because while it sounds fun its not that exciting of a gimmick. It does sounds more fitting for a Battle Royale mode akin to F-Zero 99 as pointed out by the article.

Its about time the official reveal got here, thats all I will say.

The similarity to F.I.S.T aside, I came to discover this game by hearing that Takaya Kuroda (VA of Yakuza/Like a Dragon's Kazuma Kiryu) has a voice line in the trailer's JP dub.

@Mana_Knight : Its only on the Netflix show and everything related to it (including this game) that she's a 'good guy'. Before the show she was an antagonist who founded (or depending on the game, was part of) the VILE organisation.

Me calling Bayo 3 a mess is my own opinion of course, I don't 'hate' the game but for me its definitely the least good of the current trilogy for several reasons.

I honestly wonder more on how they will handle the gameplay and story in Bayo 4 after the mess Bayo 3 became, and thats assuming the fourth main game will happen at all. Not that I think the franchise will end anytime soon but considering how things are appearently somewhat disastrous at Platinum right now its hard not to be curious…

Its not the most amazing modern Batman game, far from it, but I definitely take GK over the Suicide Squad game any time.

I can understand why the idea was dropped at the time but it would have been a neat little feature on the 3DS version.

Honestly it was one of the best years the Sonic franchise has had in recent years.
