The US art looks like a knock off, Mickeys Face is just so off.
In the others the Face i typically classic Art.

Since when did Ports from older Systems have a higher Price Point?
It competes with itself.

There were many Games on the Switch that were 100% up the Price from other Consoles, as Dragons Dogma (for a long Time 16€ instead of 8).
But it was often the Portability or if you can get it on the Module that justify it.
But 900% up the Price from other Systems?

There are now also more portable Systems as the Steam Deck.

The Switch 2 and many Games will still sell very good, but as the Article shows, Customers aren't dumb and some will fail with their Greed.

Double? I bought the Yakuza Bundle on Gog with 0,1 and 2 for 13€.
50€ for the Download on the Switch 2 is insane.

Yep, Did you know Gaming had a nice Video about it recently.
Short, Nintendo had the most Success when selling older but innovative Tech.
I am sure it will sell pretty well, the Switch created a very big Customer Base distinct from the Wii, that often was more a "second Console".
But the Prices and Behavior will keep some Clients away (as me), there are just too many Alternatives out there nowadays.

Lets see how they keep the Momentum, or if they go the 3DS Way and have to go some Steps back.

Nope, Nintendo gets Customer unfriendly, i will stay away.

I played it a bit on my Cousins House back then on PC.
Last Year i played the PSX Version on the Mister (16:9 Hack works nicely), so i have a good Comparison.
The Gog Version runs and plays nicely, sometimes i feel the Camera is too narrow, but overall there is not much to complain.
This is clearly a 7/10 Game and I don't mean that in a bad Way.
I played this Week here and there some Levels before and after Work, the short Levels, that are clearly far from a Mario 64, invite you to just have some fun.
The first World is quite easy, the second starts to get tight and the secret Entries will have some Section, that will make your Hands sweaty.

The Simplicity of the Game is a Benefit in my Eyes.
Many Plattformers nowadays tend to go the Donkey Kong 64 Road or else and have too much going on.
I started Yooka Laylee a couple of Times and there is just too much to collect, to buy and all the Talking...
Another one that hits the Simplicity right is Froggun.

Also, for younger Kids this could be a 8/10.
Such as Super Mario Bros on the NES, keeping it straight and simple is good to not overwhelm a Kid.

The remastered Graphics are nice, i personally like the smoothed Retro Mode, the standard roundiness is too round for my Taste, the Edges give the Croc more Character.

The Bonus Content is nice to see, the Game Design Notes are very interesting and if you have the PC Version, the Soundtrack can be taken out the Folder, it is just there
If you don't care about the Videos, i guess you could also delete the Video Files and save 20 GBs

I am thinking about to make a 720p and/or 1080p Mod for this, as converting the Video Files is no Sorcery.

Overall, the Game is simple, but plays nice, looks nice and i want to play further, so it is worth the 30 €

And hey, get it DRM free on Gog, if you see what Nintendo does on the Switch 2, go and support Customer friendly Stores.

Doom 3 BFG looks worse than the original, because it makes many Spaces brighter and has Downgrades in Lightning.
As a simple Example, the Eyes of Enemies glow in the Dark in the original, not in BFG.
There are many Scenes that look stunning, due to the Lights glowing in the Dark.
In the BFG all this is just another grey Area.
The higher Textures don't help, also not that the whole Game stops when Saving.

The original Doom 3 with HD Textures holds up very well.

Btw. the Shotgun is a one hit Killer, you just have to overcome your Fear and get close to the Enemy.

But to be honest, the Engine is the best i have seen in Years, the Loading Times of Doom Eternal (on PC) are insanely fast, even on a HDD it just runs in Seconds.

To not get scammed, Retroarch has them all.

I do not recommend, a Samsung SD Card is the only that has ever(!) failed shortly before Warranty would have ended (so gladly i could get my Money back).
I have many that are very old by now and still work.

Samsung is selling Stuff that will break after Warranty, be it this or TVs, crap Company.

Buying on Digital Console Store is the same as throwing out Money.

Well, you can still read the sentences and look if there is actual Information included, that helps you make a Decision about a Game.

Often enough the Score is far away from what is written or the "Problems" aren't any for you personally (7/10, too much Water).

If the Reviews sound all very much the same, they are probably "bought" and you rather wait with buying a hyped Game ("Bioware returning to its Form").

It is the same with Reviews on Amazon and else, there many Bots and insanely dumb Reviews, but looking through them on all Ends of the Rating often reveals useful Information.

I have seen the Spoilers, i never would have guessed that Sonic will die and his Son will take over.

Overall the single Color Discs look like a Budged Release.

To the IGN Logo, someone at a local Capcom HQ has slept very much^^
Must have been easier to get it from a Web Search than to reach out to the japanese HQ.

I personally like them all, the Variant of Jack_Goetz also looks very nice.

It is a Nintendo Thing, as Nintendo has very big Lobby and caused this Law.

I am glad such a Law is not present in other Countries, it would destroy all Freedom with Software.

This Game looks like a Beat em up, pick it up, have fun with a friend and thats it.

It is the same background as the US, but zoomed in.
I take the US, as the handcrafted Background has something nice, but they could have put Wario elsewhere.

On Pokemon TV itself they had full episodes and movies, guess this here means they bring it also to Youtube.

Pokemon is something nice after a long mentally wasting work day, you can jump in, see a episode and you don't need to have watched everything before or afterwards.
It is just simple fun.

Oh not the Wii U Version?
3 Ultimate was really a blast, being able to play with one Wii U and three N3DS multiplayer was incredible cool.
Taking your save Game with you and play wherever you want.
For me it was clear that NX was a Codename for Cross, so a Crossplay Device as the Switch came out to be.

For the PC, you can find a Patch to decensore the Game and it contains also other changes that brings it nearer to the original Art.

For me it is too much Money asked, maybe when the Patch is complete, also termwise and the Game is about 20€.

I can live with the Super Nintendo Version until then

I tried it early this year with fan patches, it has some good in it, but the combat was too awful.
I will pick up this Collection on Gog, lets see how they handled the Issues.

Never played these games, but when the first came out, it gave me those impressions:

• Very good Graphics, i am not sure what it is, but the lighning and colors are very life like, wider Shots of Sceneries with Buildings look fotorealistic.
• Interesting Scenario, it was a unused one back then and still not as used.

Overall hearing that it is a pretty hard Game, i skipped

Different headquarters and/or publishers, i am not sure how many exited.
You can see it with Pokemon, the german and french Headquarters wanted to make own names for Pokemon, meanwhile those for spain and italy did not.

That type of game is just overrepresented in the Market, here you have to make something very outstanding or just accept that you can't take the biggest part of the cake with the decision of doing such a game.

The Artstyle seems promising and the not overused Setting.
So they would have to make more Advertisment for that.

If you than have to do something with very controversial companies with extremist attitudes, you'll even lose more potential customers.

I recently started playing IV and it is better than i thought.
III is the weakest so far, big surprise is the lost Artefact, it is sooooo good.

But i wonder what they do with VI.
I tried it and i really wanted to like it, but the Combat is soo bad.
Even with the Fan Patch it was Crap.

If you want to play something mobile nowadays, i do really recommend Mystic Quest XP
In the End, it is Final Fantasy Core Mechanics, you can easily jump in and out, grind some Battles while in the Bus/Train.
You don't get lost after having lost interest for some Months and lose Interest at all.
