Re: Switch Online Versions Of Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2 Won't Support Transfers

Azuris

@martynstuff
Because Mario Tennis and Golf are full Games without the GB Additions, they are only a nice Addition.

Pokemon Stadium is vice versa, it is more an Addition to the Gameboy Games, so it is really crippled without them.
It is more comperable to the Battle Frontier (and what they are called) in later Installments within the Game.

Re: Switch Online Versions Of Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2 Won't Support Transfers

Azuris

You can use your GB Pokemon Rom and Save Game with Project 64, why shouldn't you on the Switch?
You literally could upload your save game and it stays on the Switch.
But i would rather believe they implement GB Games on the Switch, the 3DS is dead for them.

Pokemon Stadium is more like an Expansion to the GB Games and really fun so.
But as a Standalone, really bad.

Re: Square Enix Is Now Part Of A Blockchain

@Mrkittyhead

It is stupid technical solution to problems you can solve cheaper and less energy consuming with classical servers and data bases.

NFTs are also depending on central servers where the data lies (the nft is the "reciep" ).
If that goes offline, you still have your NFT and you can trade it and proof you are the owner , but it leads nowhere and is worthless.

Re: Soapbox: Endless Zelda Remakes Are A Poor Substitute For Backwards Compatibility

Azuris

@Effortlessgamer
It is the same.
It is not importan if it is digital, if you can play a Game from an old System on a new one, it it backwards compatible.
It is not importan if it is accomplished through build in Hardware, a Wrapper or Emulation.

The PS3 was backwards compatible to the PSX through Emulation, early Models through Hardware and partly Emulation also to the PS2.

Look at the PC Market, you can play nearly every Game ever made from DOS on via Emulation, Windows Games often out of the Box.
Put your Disc in, rip it and go on without or buy it over Steam and Gog.
Blizzard made even patches, so you can play your Game without Discs. Once installed you can use your Starcraft Folder from 1998 on Windows 10.

There is absolutly no Reason why you can not keep your Purchases from the Wii U on the Switch or a newer System, beside that Nintendo wants to see your Cash again.

The Switch is a big hit, so Nintendo is not under Pressure to change that Behaviour for the Moment.

But the World doesn't stand still, even Sony is breaking off its Limit, offering Games on other Systems.
Horizon is even aviable DRM free.

Re: Best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Games On Nintendo Systems

Azuris

After playing Shredders Revenge, Turtles in Time still is the Number 1.
Music is much better and beating up Enemies has more oumph to it.
I only wish for an similiar special Attack Meter.
Do not forget, Turtles in Time does count as (one of) the best Beat em ups ever made, thats not made up from Nostalgia only.

Re: Watch: How To Get Good At Collecting Retro Video Games (Without Breaking The Bank)

Azuris

I am glad i never sold my Games, some of them have insane Prices on Ebay, it is just not worth.
I really suggest:
Go, buy a Mister and if you love a Series, buy those Games to celebrate them and basta.

If you really want a Collection of a System, only buy what you would also play.

I think Systems that are good to collect at the Moment are: Nintendo DS, Gameboy, Gamegear, Gameboy Advance, PS2 and the PS3.
Especially the PS3, the Prices are very low.

Megadrive has reached Super Nintendo Level on many good Games like Streets of Rage and Turtles, they are really pricey.
The Pokemon Games are also way to pricey.
Overall i nearly stopped completly to buy Games beside Super Nintendo and Gameboy, Gameboy Games don't take too much Space

Ah and PC Games, Bigboxes aren't as pricey, they are pretty solid in their pricing over the last Decades.
I love them, they look sooo nice, but they take so much Space.
I am still sad my Monkey Island 3 and Trespasser got destroyed by Water back then :/
Especially Trespasser with its nice 3D Raptor is not normal priced nowadays.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game?

Azuris

@Sinton

Naa i do not know, when i was a Kid the Game never felt right to me, it felt kinda cheap and it was a disapointment.
Turtles in Time and the Super Nintendo overall not only saved my "Video Game Career", they changed it from something i like to something i love

Btw.
Thanks to Avgn i actually had really much Fun with Castlevania 2.
He spots out all the Stuff that could annoy you, so you know it already when you play it.
His Video is like a Hints/Solution Book.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game?

Azuris

Turtles in Time on the Super Nintendo, even better than the Arcade Version.

  • Music sounds so great
  • The Hits feel better than on the Arcade, a tad more polished
  • More Levels
  • A great Level and Enemy Variaty

Throwing Enemies to the Screen and Pause to see the Butt is a Joy as Kid

Mashing Enemies from one Site to another even made it to the Batman Crossover.
Also "My Toes! My Toes!" .

The Mega Drive / Genesis (or Sega Genydrive) is Fun, but has not enough Levels / Enemies and the Boss Rush is lazy.

Re: Nintendo Of America Named In New Workplace Complaint

Azuris

@blindsquarel

1. When the Payment isn't enough to barely have a Living or to plan your Life longer than a Year.
2. When the Worker has not really a Choice, than to agree to a abusive Contract.

People should be secured by Law from abusive Contracts, but in the last Decades it went Down Hill in some Countries.

The Industrial Revolution showed us what happens, if People aren't secured by Law.
Both Sides agreed to the Contract, so:
You break your Leg while working and you can't work?
You are fired, go begging on the Streets.
Vacation? Regulated Work Times? Forget it.

The Social Security Stuff Nations got is some of the bigges civilizatoric Accomplished Humanity got and it has big Damages because of Greed.

Btw. Slaves got paid in Rome and could earn their own Money.
That didn"t make them free.

Re: Nintendo Of America Named In New Workplace Complaint

Azuris

@blindsquarel

Companies use contracted Companies to abuse People and the Law.
They set the Persons from the hired Company in the Positions formely run by internal Personal, but they earn less, have less vacation, more working hours (example: Main Staff 35 Hours, Contracted 40 Hours) and got under more Presure.
Also their Contract is limited, so they're not able to plan forward over Years, Banks don't give them Money to buy a House/Apartment, so they're forced to rent.

As the Contracts are limited, the Main Company can get rid of them whenever they want.
When they abuse Law, it wasn't the Main Company, it was the contracted one.

It is modern Slavery, as it is abusive and let stay people poor.

In Germany it was Schröder with its "social" Party that brought that Dilemma, not very social.
That Canciler that now is with Putin.

They also reformed how unemployed People get handeled.
When you get unemployed, they give you a very long List with Companies that are hiring.
But this List is full of such abusive Companies.

If you refuse a couple of Times an offer or you don't show that you try to get hiring, they cut your social welfair.

So many are forced to work in such an abusive System.
Thats why i and many call it modern Slavery.

The US has the same, if not much worse Problem, caused by different Laws.

Re: Video: Bandai Namco Shares Pac-Man World Re-Pac Graphics Comparison

Azuris

@EliSweetG

Yeah, i have no clue why People play Chess nowadays, such an old Game ;P

Only because a Game is old, it doesn't mean that it plays bad.
My first Games were on the C64 and even as a pre school Kid they felt very unfair and unpolished to me.
But Turtles in Time, Super Mario World and Starcraft?
Even nowdays some of my Favourites, there old Games that even new ones can't compete in Quality.

Sometimes they just need a Port or a bit of fresh Paint.

Re: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Is Apparently Much More Than A Remaster, But Not A "Complete Remake"

Azuris

@DaniPooo
Absolutly, they back up what People say here all the Time

@ChipBoundary
You know that in Wikipedia itself are Links to Sources.
If you want to be sure, go to such Source and use that in your Diploma.
It is absolutly unnecessary to talk down the Effort and the civilizatoric Accomplishment this free Page of Wisdom is.
Also it is very rude of you calling People that use their free Time to make such Thing happening Nerds.

You are standing your wrong Point again and again.
You rather keep difaming Statements and brought on Sources.
Your own Sources are contradicting you.

You should really overthink your Position and how you lead a Discurse.

I'll block you from now on, because your Mentality is bad and seems more of a Troll and Troublemaker.

Re: Shin-Chan: Me And The Professor On Summer Vacation Arrives On Switch Next Week

Azuris

His german Rhymes were hilarious.

"Ich fühl mich wie im Himmel und wackel mit dem PXXXXX"

"I feel like in Heaven and i am shaking my DXXX around."

"Ich fühl mich frisch und munter und hol mir einen runter" .

"I feel fresh and cheerful and i am jxxxxxx off."

"Ein AXXXXXOCH hüpft von Ast zu Ast, bis der Ast ins AXXXXXOCH passt."

"An Axxhole jumps from branch to branch, 'til the branch fits into the Axxhole."

They rhyme really well in german, was there something similiar in english?

It is about 15 Years ago that i heared them and they are burned into my Brain.
I was spitting out what i was just drinking back then, because it was so unexpected from a TV Show that seemed so much for Kids.

Re: Mini Review: Turrican Anthology Vol. 1 - A Pricey Package Of Solid Run-And-Gun Classics

Azuris

I have the "smaller" Collection that was also released through normal Vendors.

I have fun with the Collection, but only because of the modern Stuff included, as Rewind and Save States.

Enemies often pop out very unfair and the Live goes down unforgiving.
Even back then i wouldn't like the Game to play without a Trainer or Action Replay to have unlimited Lives.

Mega Turrican is the most polished of them and i would say playable without any "Cheats.

I also like the different Filters they put in.
Even a black and white one haha
Played the C64 back then on a B/W TV, so it was a throw back for me
