Re: Blizzard Cancels Overwatch 2's Long-Awaited PvE Hero Mode

Azuris

@Tasuki

Well, Activision Blizzard has the Flaws every big Company or Institution has, it is very hard to change such Arthtosis within the Structures.
It is also hard to guess from the Outside, how many truly constructive and onward bringing Persons there are.

I am personally very sceptic about Activision Blizzard and there Products.
Diablo 2 Ressurrected is awsome though, but this wasn't handled by Blizzard

50 Games but not Beyond Goo and Evil

Jokes aside, give Gog a Chance and just use whatever you can, as said, you are fine even with an older Laptop for older Games.
You'll get them for 50-200% less as on the Switch (not kidding).

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Beyond Good And Evil

Azuris

@Setrodox

Why limiting yourself?
The Game isn't as demanding and should work on every Laptop of the last ten Years and beyond.
Go to Gog.com, grab it for a handful of Dollars/Euros/Pounds and have it without DRM, save it everywhere you want to keep it forever.

Re: Zelda Boss Wanted Certain Tears Of The Kingdom Areas In BOTW, Prevented By Wii U's Limitations

Azuris

@progx

It is misleading, as the CPU in the Wii U is not the same as a 750 used in 1997.
The same with my 1800X, it is not the same as a 5800X or an Pentium 4 from 2000 is not the same one as from 2008.

CPUs have Architectures, thats why i just went a Level up to have a more visible and so comprehendable Example.

The Switch has better Specs, but not because of the original Date of the CPUs Architecture.

With that Logic in Mind you would have to take the Debud of ARM Cortex Chips in 2004.

Re: The Jurassic Park Games Are Getting A 30th Anniversary Retro Collection

@KingMike @Darthmoogle

Last Year i tested out Jurassic Park on the Amiga, it seems it runs mostly on the same Engine, shares the same Sprites or Variations of them, just only without the first Person segments, but has more Variation in Objects and more Context of what you have to do, you even have Passwords.

Seems overall a better Game, but i haven't played much.
Watched a Video right now and it seems, it can be annoying.

Edit:
I've lied, watched further and it does have first Person Segments!
I think i have to try this out again.

Edit2:
Oh, this Game has also a Dos Version, seems identical to the Amiga one, the first person Sections have an even bigger Screen and better Graphics. The 2D Section looks zoomed in compared to the Amiga one.

@Coalescence

I don't know, how do you call the Opposite of Nostalgia?
Bad Feelings about something in the Past haha?

My Feelings about the Games are: "Oooh, i had these when i was 6, lovely Times, but hell, so boring Games." .

But for me the same with the Lion King, can't describe how much i dislike it.
(Aladdin on the Super Nintendo is a very very very good Game compared imo).
And seemingly, the Rerelase is selling.

Re: The Jurassic Park Games Are Getting A 30th Anniversary Retro Collection

Azuris

@Darthmoogle

I can confirm, some could be good, but they made some major Flaws that just take the fun out.

Take the Super Nintendo one, it lacks a simple save Feature, so it makes just no Fun to start from the Beginning every Time.
As the Game is only OK, you' ll just ignore it after a few Times.

There is absolutly no Reason to buy these Games, they aren't really fun.

Oddly, i found some Entertainment out of Trespasser last Year.
Make the Controls more modern and take the Fan Patches, ignore that it isn't the promissed Open World with "living Creatures" and it is at least enjoyable.
Definitly more than the older Titles.

Re: Talking Point: Which Is Your Favourite Nintendo Controller? Every Nintendo Pad Ranked

Azuris

The Wii U Pro Controller, i really dislike asynchrone D-Pad to Action Buttons, so the Joycons and Switch Pro are my least favourite.

The wii U Pro Controller does feel like a good Evolution from the Super Nintendo one (PAL/Jap) that i love.

The Gamecube is ok, but D-Pad is way too small, they should have add two Shoulder Buttons on every Side and i am not the biggest Fan of how the Analogue Shoulder Buttons work (that Click in the End for 100%).

The N64 is something that will never ever happen again, it is fine for what it is, but the Joystick wears out and is a design Failure.
Change it out with a Gamecube Stick (yes, this exists) or buy a Brawler 64.

The NES one doesn't feel good in the Hand, because of its Edges.

The Wii U Gamepad is suprisingly ergonomical while holding, at least for my Hands.

The Joycons are bad in everything, i can't play even Doom with it.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Final Fantasy IV (DS)

Azuris

@mattesdude

Cut down Dialogs that happened, because english Text simply needs more Characters and with that more (screen) Space.

Translation of Spells and Items (i would call this a minor "Issue" ).

And i hope i am memorizing correctly, Bugs with some Spells.

Also, you can chose between different Difficutlies nowadays.
The US Version was easier (is not a bad Thing in my Eyes, especially for Adults with less Time).
So you can vary as you wish

Imo: There is not really a bad Version, every one gives you something special.
Be it the Soundtrack, more Story or new Graphics.

The DS Version is really fine imo.
I can recommend it blindly, it has some Playstation Graphics Vibe.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Final Fantasy IV (DS)

Azuris

@SpaceboyScreams

DS or Pixel Remaster.
Snes only with a fan Patch.

The DS Version is pretty neat, you can also get it on PC, but there are some Features left and it looks a bit cheaper graphicwise.
as the Hardware of the DS and how it displays it masks the low Polycount and Trickery with 2D Objects better.
But it comes with an Easy Mode.

But i am bad in Final Fantasy Games and proceeding pretty good.
There is especially one Encounter with the Main Villian where i needed about 30 Attempts.
Took a Video from Youtube as Help and the Person did it on first Try... But guessing from the Comments, the DS Version is less forgiving there^^

The Pixel Remaster has its great Soundtrack and polished Texts.

As said, the Snes Version has many Problems and needs some Patches.

Re: Switch Online Adds Pokémon Stadium To The Nintendo 64 Library Today, Out Now

Azuris

@TommyTendo

Than you had a used Copy, as it was sold only with the Transfer Pack.

And yes, we used it all the Time, as it made no Sense to not.
Was also a great Way to restart your Game, as you can put all your Pokemon rapidly and easy onto Stadium and after starting a new Game back to the Gameboy.

Pokemon Stadium 2 was also good for your Room in the Games, as you could put all kind of Things into it.
Similiar to Bases in later Games.

Overall Stadium is like the Battle Zones, Battle Towers, Trains etc. in the later Games.
The biggest and hardest Thing to win was Surfing for Pikachu.

Re: Switch Online Adds Pokémon Stadium To The Nintendo 64 Library Today, Out Now

Azuris

Pokemon Stadium is a proper Endgame for the Gameboy Games.
It is just boring without your Creatures and it is a shame, that Nintendo doesn't find a Way to make it possible to use your Pokemon from the Virtual Console Titles.

I have the original Modules of Red/Blue and Stadium, i have the Retrode2, i can transfare my original Save Games to the PC and play Pokemon Stadium over Emulation using those Save Games.

But Nintendon't.

Re: Countdown: Wii U eShop Spotlight - Duck Hunt

Azuris

@Sam_TSM

Imo the Joycons can simulate it pretty good with the Gyroscope.
You have to readjust it here ant there, but it works.

Was at least my Experiene with Mario Galaxy.

There is some Way to connect old Guncons on the Mister, but i haven't checked how it works.
Just look it up

Edit.
Ok it seems it works with Sensor that you have to put on your LCD
