Well, People are playing Diablo 1 and 2, Warcraft 3, Starcraft and they even spend Money for World of Warcraft Classic, but the new Stuff seems very bland and soulless.
Having so much People on a Company, you can't spread creative Ideas, People just do their Job and you can feel it in the Games.
You can get those Games DRM Free on Gog, so you can preserve it everywhere you want, make your own Physical Version and you do not depend on Hardware and Stores that will die.
That is why i buy them on Gog or crack them. Nintendo and Sony showed that they don't care to preserve digital Goods from their Stores, so i will avoid them in the Future
Companies could at least give out some helping Hand to make own Servers. It can't be that we can play the original Doom, Quake and Unreal online without any Problem, but everything since the Dreamcast/PS2/Gamecube Era is nearly lost.
@LadyCharlie But guess it makes it more likely to get uploaded on many different Pages elsewhere
I loaded it on my Smartphone when i read it and send it over to my PC and my Cousin.
But no surprise, going through the Files, there is all the Stuff included ^^ Other Ports are the Code only, without any Graphics, Music et cetera. So it can't be taken down from Nintendo.
@Dimjimmer
Well, nobody is playing the Multiplayer of Turok 2, the Game is dead online and never had a real high Peak (by peak meaning in scale some hundreds of Players, not even thousends)
It makes sense to not waste Ressources to it.
Also not to forget, Turok 1 and 2 had PC Ports, Turok 3 never got off the N64.
It is more Work to it porting it from a Console with different Architecture and other Source Files as from a PC and possibly better Ressources to gather Files and Code
@SBandy1 Guess they have a Deal with Disney at the Moment, releasing Dark Forces and Turok 3, both Properties of Disney So my guess is that we'll get Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight sooner than later.
I personally really like the System Shock Remake, so thats also Stuff they can do, but tooks clearly more Time.
Well i played through Perfect Dark last Week with the new PC Port with my 8Bitdo Controller (SN30 Pro?) One Stick works as the C Buttons for Movement and the other to look around. I only changed down on the D-Pad to duck, as i hate to use L3/R3.
As it runs so smooth, i was through it in about 5 Hours.
The Auto Aim makes it easy, so i am not complaining
Why was such a Hype about this Release occuring? Jurassic Park was so great and Dinomania was all around back then, those Games did just disappoint in the 90s. There is a Reason why Games to Movies got such a bad Reputation.
The best Jurassic Park Games are the Park Builder ones.
Sad that Trespasser wasn't that real open World with Dinosaurs living their Lifes.
I hope Steam will still live with this Culture forth after he is gone Steam is more Player friendly as all other big Players (The worst being Nintendo)
From what i see in that Video, Retro Studio is a very chaotic Company, that had talented People in it, but it is doubtful if they can output something all the Time.
Yep, this Game was a Disappointment for me as a Kid, was way to unfair.
Aladdin was Worlds beyond in Playability.
I don't understand the modern Hype for that Game.
It was designed to rip off Time from People that are renting it.
Btw. imo all Virgin Disney Games are mediocre, Capcom did a much better Job gameplay wise with the Licences.
Edit:
Ha, i've just read that Blockbuster had nearly 20% of Virgin ... No Wonder the Games were done that Way
@Folkloner I would guess it is just to much Work for them to port it. They probably have the Statistics of how much their Games sell in on System and Region. I guess in Japan there is not enough Audience on the Switch and outside of Japan it is to much into the Nieche.
@mattysaurus Yes, it depends on how accurate the Chip is remade. The Word Emulation doesn't match the Distinction of both well enough.
Software Emulation = Interpretation and Translation of Orders to another alien System FPGA = Sending Orders to a replicated Chip
The Chip can only handle Orders in a certain unchangable Way, as it is designed, meanwhile the Software can Interprate and handle it depending on the working Systems Harsware and the Software.
And clearly each another brings better Understanding of how Orders have to Work
@mattysaurus No Software Emulation works different, it translates the Orders to something that the Device can work with. FPGA is a Chip that can change to work exactly as the Chip you are Programming. If an FPGA has Errors with the Console Chip it mimiks, it because the Chip isn't replicated exactly and needs fixes. There is no Blueprint of many of those Chips, so People literally look at high Definition Pictures to see the Transistors and write Programs to trigger the Chip to do certain Things, with that they replicate it.
Meanwhile Emulation is more an Translator. Thats why you can have 0 lag with FPGA, as translating costs Time and depending on your System, it could understand and interprate something a bit Different
So FPGA should be the go to.
But! The Work on FPGA can benefit Software Emulation, as they can write better slicker Code that Translates Stuff more directly/better.
So as long as it is somehow open, we're all benefiting from such Stuff

Hard one, i like those 3D Models, but nor Mario besides the Logo, hmm
The other one is too boring.
I will take the Japanese
Re: Feature: Digital Doppelgangers - Home Vs. Handheld Adaptations In The 2000s
There is that Tomb Raider Game, it is top down and resembles the first Game actually pretty good, besides having its own Story.
Can recommend it

Really nice Artstyle, but the Game just was nothing for me, did refund it very quickly.

Well, the Facts are:
The unsure Stuff is:
The later one doesn't matter in the Case, as the Outcome is that he betrayed People.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Trace Memory
Hmm the white outline makes it somehow bad on the EU one, also the background is boring.
The US one does use it better

The old Releases on PS3 had, but check out Stuff as Zdaemon on PC.
Most Source Ports also support Controllers.
For everyone else that wants more Doom, Doomworld.com is full with Help to get started.
Edit and check out Romeros Page, Sigil 2 with the Thorr Soundtrack is great.

Isn't Europe and Japan more or less the Same?
Guessing from Pictures of the Box, the Picture itself shouldn't be much bigger as on the EU Release.
I personally would count the Votes together
The Bonus Picture is also nice, we have the more modern Mario with the old Kongs.

Attractive Woman, could play in a matured Zelda Version without a Doubt.
Maybe my Idea with Arnold Schwarzenegger as Link
Re: The Turok 3 Remaster On Switch Has Been Subject To A Short Delay
Will grab it but on the PC and if possible on Gog.
Re: Talking Point: So, Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Upcoming Zelda Movie?
Arnold Schwarzenegger as Link. (Link the Barbarian)
Michelle Pfeiffer as Zelda.(Cat Shiek Woman)
Wesley Snipes as Gannon (Demolition Man, anyone?)
Re: Sony Is Co-Financing Nintendo's Live-Action Zelda Movie

Vortex on Pal Regions is published by Sony.
Imo still funny to see that Logo on the Super Nintendo.
But to be an Adult, as others said, Sony Pictures, Entertainment etc. are very separated Companies.
I also can imagine that they want to push japanese Companies more than others.
