Re: Analysts Doubt 'Switch 2' Will Be Able To Top Switch's Mighty Sales Numbers

Azuris

Hmm

Just found two Analyst Companies, just let them say exact the opposite of each other all the Time.
Be right with your Anaysis 50% of the Time.

Edit:
To be serious, it depends on current Trends and if they get the Advertisment right, as they did with the first Switch.
It aimed trendy young Adults and was clear what it wanted to be.

Re: Call Of Duty Exec Is Appointed As Blizzard's New President

Azuris

@Bobb
I guess not, she is just a Manager as everyone else.
Managers are there to rule by Numbers, not by Passion and i get it, Activision Blizzard is a really really big Company, you can't manage it without using the Numbers.

But i guess such Managers need a Consultant with such Passion, because sometimes Numbers leads you to Diablo Immortal, as mobile Games make much Money, but they don't build up IPs.

From what i have read the last Decade over Blizzard, that they can't pass the Passion to the Teams, they see it just as a Job and they also can't hold them for longer Time Periods.
This leads to mediocre Products.

The Spirit within Blizzard is gone.

Lets see if she can revive it, maybe she is smart enough and can do it, now also with Microsoft as a new Lead.

Re: Fan-Made 'Link's Awakening DX HD' Port Taken Down By Nintendo

Azuris

@LadyCharlie
But guess it makes it more likely to get uploaded on many different Pages elsewhere

I loaded it on my Smartphone when i read it and send it over to my PC and my Cousin.

But no surprise, going through the Files, there is all the Stuff included ^^
Other Ports are the Code only, without any Graphics, Music et cetera.
So it can't be taken down from Nintendo.

Re: Review: Turok 3: Shadow Of Oblivion (Switch) - A Quality Restoration Missing Its Multiplayer

Azuris

@Dimjimmer
Well, nobody is playing the Multiplayer of Turok 2, the Game is dead online and never had a real high Peak (by peak meaning in scale some hundreds of Players, not even thousends)
It makes sense to not waste Ressources to it.

Also not to forget, Turok 1 and 2 had PC Ports, Turok 3 never got off the N64.
It is more Work to it porting it from a Console with different Architecture and other Source Files as from a PC and possibly better Ressources to gather Files and Code

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Donkey Kong

Azuris

Isn't Europe and Japan more or less the Same?
Guessing from Pictures of the Box, the Picture itself shouldn't be much bigger as on the EU Release.

Untitled
I personally would count the Votes together

The Bonus Picture is also nice, we have the more modern Mario with the old Kongs.

Re: Switch Online Is Expanding The N64 Library With Rare's Jet Force Gemini

Azuris

@Elbarbo

Well i played through Perfect Dark last Week with the new PC Port with my 8Bitdo Controller (SN30 Pro?)
One Stick works as the C Buttons for Movement
and the other to look around.
I only changed down on the D-Pad to duck, as i hate to use L3/R3.

As it runs so smooth, i was through it in about 5 Hours.

The Auto Aim makes it easy, so i am not complaining

Re: Sony Is Co-Financing Nintendo's Live-Action Zelda Movie

Azuris

@Serpenterror
Vortex on Pal Regions is published by Sony.
Imo still funny to see that Logo on the Super Nintendo.

But to be an Adult, as others said, Sony Pictures, Entertainment etc. are very separated Companies.

I also can imagine that they want to push japanese Companies more than others.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: The Lion King

Azuris

@Clyde_Radcliffe

Yep, this Game was a Disappointment for me as a Kid, was way to unfair.
Aladdin was Worlds beyond in Playability.
I don't understand the modern Hype for that Game.
It was designed to rip off Time from People that are renting it.
Btw. imo all Virgin Disney Games are mediocre, Capcom did a much better Job gameplay wise with the Licences.

Edit:
Ha, i've just read that Blockbuster had nearly 20% of Virgin ... No Wonder the Games were done that Way

Re: Analogue's CEO Reckons Not Even Nintendo Could Beat Its New 'N64'

Azuris

@mattysaurus
Yes, it depends on how accurate the Chip is remade.
The Word Emulation doesn't match the Distinction of both well enough.

Software Emulation = Interpretation and Translation of Orders to another alien System
FPGA = Sending Orders to a replicated Chip

The Chip can only handle Orders in a certain unchangable Way, as it is designed, meanwhile the Software can Interprate and handle it depending on the working Systems Harsware and the Software.

And clearly each another brings better Understanding of how Orders have to Work
