@Suketoudara Some of them can be fun and the overworld design is kinda fun but the minigames.... they're so generic. Here is a generic putt putt level, oh a scrape off level lets just have them literally scrape off paint, oh a shooting game? Lets put them in blank blue room and shoot red balloons.
Where is the Nintendo charm here? Why are these so devoid?
@TrueBlueYoshi Except all the mini games suck are are devoid of a single shred of character. Would have made way more sense if they did mario party style mini games, would have been more fun to have like actual characters instead of every game being as generic as humanly possible.
@OctolingKing13 I hate them but I will take it over the stupid ones when like youtube updates and they're like "greasing the tubes that your videos go down" and I know someone on their team thinks it's SO CLEVER, but when literally every update is that it's just annoying.
I mean I enjoy some spongebob now and then, but why in the world wouldn't they add other sega IP into the mix? Monkey ball guys, Jetset Radio, crazy taxi, Persona
TBH, it's not anything I would say to buy ever, and it does look mostly like a lazy Unity game but there was atleast some effort put into it by someone. Looks almost like someone was just messing around trying to make a 007 type game then got really into it and made a whole thing. Should have just made it their own idea though rather than using that name.
I wish they nailed the open world a bit better, like switchup had some great suggestions there. The maps in grand pre are super super fun, I just wish though that some didn't repeat. Definitely good 8/10 from me, just like it felt mostly like a normal mario kart game though.
OLED is great, but everything I have seen on devices it usually causes battery life to get worse, and with it already being pretty bleh on switch 2 that was probably part of it. Though TBH switch oled had good life, idk if that just had a bigger battery or what
Is it just me or is the Sekiro/Soulslike genre kind of getting oversaturated. They all seem like well reviewed but like jeesh every company has one and they all look so similiar.
i almost hate these visuals, like they have a bit of the flash game aesthetic. However it looks like they have a lot of love and thought put into them so idk
It is kinda odd, the other games were lightly anime-ish, but kinda felt like their own thing too. This one just went like full anime and i'm not a huge fan.
They had a good way, if they would have just done every single preorder had to initially go through them and do priority that way, it would have been way simpler. I'm sure they could do that and figure out a way to still use partners like targe/walmart/bestbuy for shipping/pickup. That way we don't have the stupid rat race against bots on release day
I bought Yakuza, i'm not super happy about it, i just wanted one physical game and it was really the only one i was interested in that wasn't a pack-in or game i already own
i'm surprised the amount of yesses vs no people. I was just about to give up, target kept glitching out in checkout and people said their orders were cancelled so i stopped that. Walmart had just left me sitting in line, then same with bestbuy eventually. I randomly refreshed the walmart page and it let me in. I'm hopeful it doesn't get cancelled like peoples target orders though.
@The_Spanner it’s not a worry about money it’s just like a slap, like it’s partially a manual. I wouldn’t have care too much about it had it been included, would have been a really neat idea for a manual. But the fact that they are doing it like this just is a huge bad pr move in my book and I hope they can see that. Just kinda of an insultingly dumb decision.
The worst if you read the interview is his reason. " “As this game was being developed, what’s been packed into it is a depth of minigame experiences,” Bowser says. “They’re very deep, they’re very repeatable. And so, as we looked at that depth of play experience and opportunity, we felt that $9.99 was a fair price to ask for that.”"
Doug, we've seen the treehouse with the first few mini-games and they're the super super basic. Nothing at the level of Wii Sports, let alone wii sports wasn't half a user manual.

Re: Review: Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess (Switch 2) - Tower Defence With A Twist In Capcom's Gorgeous, Yokai-Slaying Hybrid
Honestly idk if it's technically as impressive as something like cyberpunk, but the art design is really really good

awful, leave the original
Re: Review: Ruffy And The Riverside (Switch) - An Inventive Platformer That's More Than Copy-Paste
This looks realllllly cool. I think with those cons it should have been a 9 atleast.

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Switch 2 Box Art Shows Pauline In All Her Glory
so i'm confused if she like gets turned into a rock later in the game or if like this was all literally just fake and that character doesn't exist
Re: A New Goosebumps Game Is Shuffling Onto The Switch This August
I mean it doesn't look great, but doesn't look awful
Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Direct Revealed For Wednesday, 18th June 2025
Boooooo wanted a general direct not a DK only one
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Jet Set Radio (Dreamcast)
for once they all kinda rock, and just are iterations of the same kinda idea. NA pops the most though

Re: Review: No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Hello Games' Classic Without Cuts Or Concessions
i've barely played mario kart or yakuza because i picked this up on a whim and it's been so good

Re: No Man's Sky Multiplayer Is Currently Broken On Switch 2, Cross-Saves Also Causing Issues
yeah i tried mine today, immediately disabled and reverted my save after it broke it and i'm back in action thankfully

Re: Video: "It's Actually...Really Good" - Our Hot 'Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour' Preview Take
I'm glad it's good, but even if it were literally game of the year, it still should have been a pack-in
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Trailer Highlights New Minigames & Tech Demos
As much as I sicken myself for it, i'll probably bite and get it

@Polvasti lol if I didn't know better I'd be like "yeah looks like some AI art"

has a very Pikminy vibe

Re: Review: Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (Switch) - A Cracking Collection Of Top-Class Arcade Fighters
man powerstone was such a cool game, i wanted a dreamcast specifically for it
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Hardware Chip Was Potentially Finalised As Early As 2021
@FormerGameAddict lol yeah honestly. It's kind of a wild choice too since in 4 years quite a bit can change
Re: Opinion: Nintendo's Forgotten The Game With The Most 'Switch 2 Edition' Potential
Along with that, they didn't run awful, but Pikmin 4 at 1080p/4k and 60fps would be such a better experience.

@CutchuSlow wasn't it at the end of the ps4's life though? I may be wrong

I mean it would be weird if it didn't right?
Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Buying Any Game-Key Card Switch 2 Games?

Re: TMNT Roguelike 'Splintered Fate' Scores A Totally Bodacious Collector's Edition
@AllBLK I still love them but also I absolutely see how it can easily be abused to make something super lazy
Re: PSA: Switch Update Adds Handy Feature Allowing System Transfer To "Dedicated Server"
@N00BiSH shouldn't be much different unless you have really slow internet. From the looks of it the only option is to transfer wirelessly
Re: Limited Run's Atlus Switch 2 Collector's Edition Is A 'Game-Key Card' Release
@KidSparta Man giving it 25 years is probably really really overestimating. I would be interesting if they do in the next 10, probably sketchy.
Re: Poll: So, Did You Manage To Get A Switch 2 Pre-Order In? (North America)
i'm surprised the amount of yesses vs no people. I was just about to give up, target kept glitching out in checkout and people said their orders were cancelled so i stopped that. Re: Switch 2 'Welcome Tour' Estimated File Size Revealed By Nintendo
@Yoshi3 Yeah this is how I feel. If the game never existed it would have been far better for Nintendo's image than them charging for it.
Re: Uh Oh, It Looks Like Select Switch 2 Games Won't Support Cloud Saves
@Cathalm Yeah the other things are okay, but if it weren't for cloud saves I'd probably be okay canceling my subscription.
Re: Gallery: Fresh Mario Kart World Screenshots Give Us Our Closest Look Yet At The New Racers
I really do love the extra wacky cast of characters added, great ideas! Hopefully they have some unique things to go along with them.
Re: Nintendo Direct: Mario Kart World: Every Announcement - How Would You Rate It?
I'm upset that Cow is just called Cow, like what lol.
It was fine for mario kart content, i was just hoping for a little extra news on preorders
Re: Fans Fight Back Against Nintendo Switch 2 Scalpers
@Truegamer79 I mean I don't like them either lol but the idea of condemning them to special scalper hell for preselling Nintendo switch 2 idk
Re: Here's Why Switch 2 Joy-Con And Pro Controllers Don't Have Analogue Triggers
I mean i would think either they were in the joycons or there is not a ton of point as you're just fragmenting things then
Re: "We MUST Resist Buying These Game-Key Releases", Says GamesMaster Host
I think this is still a huge step up from cases with codes
Re: Surprise, Palworld Dev Isn't Fond Of The 'Pokémon With Guns' Description
lol I mean I hope Nintendo leaves them alone, but they absolutely knew what they were doing
Re: Reggie Fils-Aimé Weighs In On 'Switch 2 Welcome Tour' Controversy (Sort Of)

Re: Talking Point: Does Switch 2 Have Nintendo's Best Launch Line-Up Ever?
Wii and GBA I read over the launch lineup over and over and over changing my mind. Great lineups, but I have to give it to the GBA
Re: Nintendo Confirms US Price For 'Switch 2 Welcome Tour'

Re: Switch 2 Game Cart Max Capacity Is 64GB, Says CD Projekt Red
didn't the switch 1 max out at 64gb? So isn't this technically bad news since it didn't go up at all? Maybe Nintendo never actually launched that one
