Gave it an 8, would better if they bundled something. I miss things like wii sports, where everyone played the game, and a good tech demo. The one they have doesn't even look that great and you have to buy it.

Also, the games announced mostly just look like switch games, though donkey kong looks pretty good.

This was so disappointing. Like "new zelda game!" "warriors" ugh. These all feel like they're taking the same game, adding new levels and replacing character models. Like it feels like the lowest effort version of a Zelda game.

I mean a large part of the west loves this and other anime style stuff, like I don't see what the problem was. It got great reviews in the west didn't it?

really underwhelming. Didn't hate it, but the best I can say is a few things I was like "oh neat". Dragon Quest, Patapon is pretty cool, Tomadachi was real interesting to see. Not a Metroid fan so that didn't grab me.

Everybodies golf, finally that came to the system. Doesn't look like it's running great though.

Note to trailer makers, youtube is a visual medium, you don't need to add into the video that it has "retro art and animation"

Man that was so so so so underwhelming. Since we haven't had a Nintendo direct in forever and the switch 2 coming up, I figured they would have a pretty big event but it was 90% just dumb things announced for mobile games. IDK why but I absolutely hated the Champions commercial. The new Legends was imo the only announcement with literally any substance. But also it didn't look AT ALL ready for primetime, but neither did the last one at release or probably still now.

I'll take non oled, I really don't notice much after 10 minutes, and the battery life is better.

Looks decent. The trailer kinda sucks, that music is breaking my eardrums.

As much as I don't want them to stop making xbox's (more competition is always better) I do love the idea of them releasing more things on the switch.

@larryisaman as much as I dislike them, that was a good decision for them if they didn't want to be only known for one thing forever.

Good lord not even a remaster, it's just straight like emulating the rom file it looks like. I honestly thought it was going to be like $4.99 max.

If only it wasn't one of the worst art style decisions I've ever seen.

I really really enjoyed it but also one of those times that it has so much missed potential as well. Hopefully they do more

Yeah i agree, something about the tutorial was just weird. The text size needs to be fixed. It's embarrassing you can't resize it. Even on steam there are complaints.

Where does this one lie chronologically?

I feel like anyone with half a braincell could have guessed there was a good chance that this hugely popular game would sell well on a hugely popular system. Why they assumed for years it would be a bad idea is kinda nuts.

I feel like people always want the Japanese version to be better, but that weird cartoon version looks awful in my opinion.

That summary doesn't really look like a 6/10. I would say part of it is that you can change the difficulty, though i agree yakuza can at times do spikes in difficulty. The other one i guess is just preference, but yeah I think every yakuza game has tons of sidetracking, or weird super slow parts. I get not liking that though i suppose.

i love metroidvanias but something about prince of Persia bores me. Like make something new guys, everything they make is the 8 billionth installment in a francise

I feel like the most criticism I see is people just want more boards. Like why don't they like money and just release DLC boards for the games after they release them. They Keep making new ones, but at the same time they just ditch the current ones the second they come out. Not like the people buying the DLC would skip the next game either.

Normal publisher I might give 1 off from the framerate issues, but being that this definitely had Nintendo's hand in it, I think it deserves more criticism. Same with the last pokemon games.

Ugh Links Awakening really took me out of it with those and I never finished. Why didn't they do something different? This is a Zelda game, it's embarrassing.

So far I haven't found it to be that badly performing on the switch. Not amazing but nothing crazy

@Poodlestargenerica I feel like power wash simulator is a fair comparison to anything close to this. I saw other reviewers doing the same and it does make sense.

looks better than I expected. Something about the weird realistic anime looking faces on the lion weirds me out though.

This looks nice but something about the visuals I'm not a huge fan of. I feel like that cell shaded design nowadays gives it sort of a cheap look. I kind of wish they went with the Mario wonder designs. Maybe it will grow on me.

The animation on this is embarrassing. The original looks miles better over this like weird 2000s flash looking game.

at best this looks like a rom hack if not like just an outright copy. Like jeesh atleast change some things up. Visually you could have fooled me this was just another advance wars

@ocarin I don't know why people think it's so cool to say all English dubs suck. Plenty of good ones, and I'm sure they could just make it optional as well.

Man the art style and production quality is really really good looking in this. Hope it does well.
