Atleast give me a PIkmin 4 switch 2 edition

aggrevating that there aren't more switch 2 ports. I mean we have a huge library which is great, it just irks me that we easily could have had more upgrades if Nintendo wanted to share dev kits.

Looks decent. Were the textures always that kinda muddy looking or is that a switch thing? Like the first 10 seconds, the walls look like a ps2 game lol

Idk but the platforming looks stiff. Just looks like it didn't have much love.

@MasterGraveheart I'd say this could definitely be a 6, but the negatives are partially fixable and not really dealbreakers.

That said, the demo felt kinda switch1-ish but i didn't get too far. Screenshots in this look nice

I haven't played for like over a year and I jumped back in, played the new intro level, then now i'm not really sure what i'm supposed to do. Need to look around some more.

I get the tightrope you walk, like it would be odd if you threw mario in a wheelchair but yeah easily could have done Miis, or just made other cute characters. Literally anything other than this pre-alpha looking design.

@MattmanForever I can't say myself, but also, looking at the youtube comment section basically any comment on it is someone disagreeing and saying it looks like 30fps to them so IDK, i'm going to guess 30 from everything I see as well but i'm just some dumb guy on the internet.

Anyone else notice that literally they can't shoot anything in the trailer? Like they miss way off every shot like they can't show someone being hit in the trailer

It was pretty good. While i'm still not really wow'd by the game itself, I think it looks like a cool release.

I like it a lot, but I also hate that 80% of the games are just like brutally difficult 2 seconds in. Like it's kind fun an funny for some, but not most.

that said, it's a super awesome concept. I might just need to get good.

Drag X Drive is a fun enough idea, but the only way it would have even been a great success is if it were a packin. It's just got so much against it. it's a really really cool use of mouse mode but, the art design is awful and doesn't look at all like nintendo, the name eh, it feels like it's really iffy for any portable play and overall just kinda an oddball game idea that will be hard to attract people to.

@jakubzet Yeah the world of AI gaming slop is still in infancy, but in 5 years I can't imagine the stupid BS people will throw on the app store. it's already bad but it feels like we're at the top of this hill atm.

Better than the last but not by a lot. It was way too short, and not totally for lack of content either, the sizzle reel games that were bafflingly on the sizzle reel all had full trailers released afterward. Does someone at Nintendo like have it out for UFO 50?

@Suketoudara Dude I'm so confused. Nintendo acts like they're paying for airtime on the superbowl. What's the harm with making larger announcements for games? Almost all those sizzle reel games have full trailers. The only thing I can think is they're like charging these companies more for more time on the direct or something.

@tourjeff Yeah I know some people got some stuff they wanted, even me, but I looked back and this one rated lower than any other direct from last year but quite a large margin, which it definitely deserved

man i looked back at the directs from last year and they usually rate a good on the highest rating, and this one rated poor for the highest rating. I think it's pretty agreed that it wasn't great.

after that kinda fairly long wait for a normalish direct, it was super boring, only like maybe 1 bigger release from square, even then it wasn't that big.

best announcement today, it was all downhill after this

I'm glad you can destroy everything, but i don't like doing that. It feels like there are so many fun design elements that are fun to also keep in place.

Now and then the camera gets a bit wonky and i get a little crosseyed but nothing big

Not without tiny problems but definitely a 10/10 for me. Such a masterclass in platforming games

@Ramouz This is an awful way to do pricing. I think there is definitely a limit, but generally over like 10-15 hours of gameplay is a pretty full game. Plenty of slop out there that has tons of repetition to get 100 hours and aren't anywhere near the quality of shorter games.

I think maybe just a bad translation of the word "product" and how most of us view that maybe? Because it doesn't sound good lol
