While I think the NA box is completely misleading and nothing like what you play and the EU one is doing a good job of telling that. The EU one just looks like a highschooler did it. It's just so dang basic.

@RoboCube I mean maybe even moreso there, I believe younger kids are less likely to have a game console and play games more likely on a tablet or phone, all of which have disney stuff on them as well. Biggest things kids play right now are Fortnite and Minecraft that have official Disney partnerships but nothing for Nintendo.

@RoboCube LOL how small do you think Disney was at the time? Sega world London was like 100k sqft inside a building. At that time Disney's smallest park was roughly 50x that size. I have no idea in what world they were ever larger. Popularity-wise Disney had a ridiculous amount of IP at that date

That would be like Disney basing their entire operations around like Toy Story or Mickey Mouse. Most of Disney's numerous large franchises are larger than Sonic on their own so idk why they think they compete with Disney without like brining anything more than sonic and friends to the table....Maybe they can compete with toy story.

I got into it for a short period of time and noped out real quick when i saw how nuts it was and stores literally had nothing for a long period of time.

I'm still just flabbergasted at the embarrassingly dumb theming done here. It's just so so alpha/beta looking like you don't have to have mario in a wheelchair but dang like give it a single tiny little ounce of character.

Can't stand it when companies buy successful studios, then immediately shut them down, like what was the point, it wasn't even a huge studio either

I personally find it a decent time. It's about the closest we get to some sort of E3 with big announcements. Some of the awards though are just breezed past which kinda sucks.

I wish the girl characters weren't all designed like some sleazy fanservice anime, but otherwise looks great.

I have absolutely no idea how someone could like the Japan one more. The NA one kinda rules

@Gaymer90 Yeah it depends. I was really into Dead Cells so I loved all the DLC it had, but if you're new to them I agree it's kinda nuts to look at

@Indielink I mean they're definitely trying to channel the same roguelike energy as Vampire Survivors, Ballatro, Dead Cells. All different games but different roguelike subgeneres. Those got years and years of support. It's not needed, but I would say 10 months of support, while appreciated, is on the shorter end.

@dazzleshell Yeah 100% the main thing the switch 2 needs is a lite version. The current one is so dang giant, it's not like ALL that portable. I really miss my lite, it was just so much more comfortable to use in handheld.

@xmkbest I mean there's definitely a difference between like photoshopping a person to make them look different and using photoshop to move and organize assets around. But i totally get the sentiment. Everything with AI is like this. Going to be like "remember when calling into customer service blew but you actually got a human being? good ol days"

@Milk_ I do agree to an extent. Not everything AI should be immediately bad, it's just when it comes to anything artistic, imo it mostly is. It's got a good handful of practical uses, but also so much investment in like AI videos/picture generation that from my point of view have 0 positive uses other than memes, otehrwise it's all just dangerous amd replacing artists with slop when it comes to that.

I think we could do some interesting theres here to improve AI characters in games, there are some cool use cases here which I don't totally hate what they're doing with that.

Split between NA and EU cover, the US one is great in a cheesy way, the EU one I think tops it a bit. They made them mutants in Japan though

Give us 1+2. I never played any of 3 but from what I gathered it was the worst one by far. That could just be some reviewers opinion I saw though so correct me if i'm wrong

I think the best thing going for Nintendo is this looks absolutely awful, like i'm not saying it's AI made but it looks like slop of some sort.

The one downside honestly is the visuals for me. They aren't awful but something about them feels like bland ps2 game-ish. Maybe just not my style, not something stopping me from playing though.
