Man Japan is fun, but the NA one is just better imo. It gives a little more of what the game is to you and also it matches the color palette of the actual game. I'm not sure why the Japan version is way more pastel.

If I had never heard of the game before I would assume the NA version is a platformer but the Japan version I would think could be anything

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition?

cylemmulo

@progx Yeah i'm fairly sure it was for that reason, just like...... it's animal crossing who cares? Like splatoon makes a little sense because it's competitive or maybe pokemon (though that one is stupid too)

Honestly what it comes down to is every single other system and pc game has save backups for everything so i'm not sure why nintendo feels like they somehow can't secure it.

Great game, and I lost a lot of respect for IGN after their review. It honestly in my opinion perfectly does the modern Banjo Kazooie. there are faults with that but if that's the type of game you're looking for it's fantastic and fun as heck.

I just reallllllllllly want a 60fps mode

Re: The Game Awards 2025: Time, Date & How To Watch

The only issue I have with them, is some of the awards they just like list out for 5 seconds and move on which is kinda weird. It's mostly just a big advertising show, but there are always cool new announcements so I'm always down for it.

Man I was so excited by this one. The art direction is great. I’m enjoying it but also It’s a bit frustrating to work with. You get punished all the time and have no idea why. There are a bunch of mechanics that are just super mysterious. I think some of that is totally fine and cool even but there are certain parts that are more frustrating than mysterious.

Otherwise the combat is cool and feels great. I just mostly have no idea what I’m doing or why things are happening

Re: Talking Point: When Did 'Good Enough' Become Good Enough For Pokémon?

Feels kinda like it in the switch generation main games. DS/3DS era games weren't amazing but they had their own style and were trying some new things. Once we got to the Wii area, we started really getting shoveled some crappy games. The switch made it more apparent though as the quality and performance of games was just so far behind all other Nintendo games.
