2) Nightdive and Digital Eclipse had to work together on this due to just how many different platforms Rayman was released on (Digital Eclipse has a Jaguar emulator, but only Nightdive has a PS1 emulator)
3) This is being done by Atari's obscure India branch, the real Atari Dev Team 1, which was created to make and maintain the VCS, and this could be a way of slowly transitioning that team off of the slowly sunsetting platform
4) This is being done by Atari's brand new Atari Germany/Atari Luxembourg team, which only legally existed as early as September of last year.

I like it. For all the criticism people give Nintendo, you can't call them dishonest in their marketing. What you get is stated flatly, and plainly on the box. Same reason why Key-cards are such a controversy on Nintendo despite being a thing for generations on the others: because Nintendo are the dirst to be honest about it.
