indie is a nonsense word with no meaning. Like schmoidelz, or optimized portfolio, or inalienable human rights. Just nonsense phrases to be thrown around at random by marketing and PR people to distract and confuse the masses

The butchering of the English legal language aside, I am at least interested in Castlevania as it sits in the sweet spot most of my games come from: $40

Here's something my autism picked up on; Sneakybox are once again helping with porting. They and Llamasoft have worked almost exclusively with Atari ever since Wade took over; even before him I think because the RCT mobile game. Jeff Minter loves his independence, and it's just him and his buddy so there's not much too put a ring on with Llamasoft, but I'm sure the boys in St. Louis would love the financial security. They're a sub 20 person team, so they can't be that expensive, but have been indespinsible in Atari's AA revival efforts, especially in regards to RCT; the Pokemon of Atari.

EDIT: I was mixing Sneaky Box up with Graphite Lab when describing them as "The boys from St. Louis" but the point still stands for both of them. I'm surprised Wade picked up that dead fish Thunderful over these two.

@Anti-Matter While this is their main fault yes, I'm willing to reserve judgement based on what the upgrade path is for Destroy 1 and Epic Michael; free or $5. And at least Titans will be on Cartridge and a more up to date build (though probably with more issues as it's a PS5 game being shoved into the equivalent of the 3.

Also, Eternal Life of Goldman needs a release date still. Just bringing that up to remind myself

@canaryfarmer Atari is pretty much the only international company Embracer plays nice with outside of when they get sub-contracted through LRG. Atari is growing while Embracer is trying to keep CDE from dragging down what's left of the ship. All that is to say: Aspyr fumbled Deus Ex BAD and Embracer/Fellowship needs all the good PR they can get adter being dragged (unfairly, I will die on this hill) through the mud for so long
