Re: Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance Is Getting A Resolution Update On Switch

The physical is sold out of all the import sites because Sega started trying to block sales; suspected as part of an anti-compete in LRG'S license. Of course they can't STOP import sites fully, wonmy question is: do you think import sites will get new stock first, or should I just suck it up and wait for the LRG version to show up at VGP next year?

Re: Review: Adventure Of Samsara (Switch) - Atari's Throwback Metroidvania Embraces Cycles Of Life, Death, And More Death

The cope in the Atari circles is that this spin-off (which I'm surprised no marketing for this ever just calls it that. This has about as much to do with Adventure as Battle Network does with X and we still call those Mega Man games.) will see a boost once it goes to retail. Now that Atari has Thunderfull, they SHOULD be able to get a box out quicker than iam8bit will for Hollow: considering iam8bit's calendar is backlogged to June

Re: Atari Acquires IP Rights To Five Ubisoft Games, Including 2011's 'Child Of Eden'

@roboshort I think we agree for different reasons (you seem to still not trust Atari; I don't want Wade to over-extend like Lars did), so you'll pleased to know that Ubisoft had a behind close doors auction at Gamescom for their lesser IP, Child of Light included. Wade closed his deal first so that's why we have this, and according to the source I got this inside scoop from, Piko Interactive, he will be picking up Alley Cat.

So there's that Monkey's Paw: Atari didn't get Child of Light, but we have no idea who did.

Re: Atari Acquires IP Rights To Five Ubisoft Games, Including 2011's 'Child Of Eden'

Thanks, Wade, although I hate how they say "5 games" and not "4 series." Like when they bought Stern but counted the IP as "the likes of Berserk and Frenzy" Frenzy is Berserk 2. It's not a distinct IP. Grow Home is Grow Up 2- they should be treated as an intrinsically package deal.

Still, it is funny and a bit hope inspiring that Atari has gone from selling off their legacy to Mirror universe Ubisoft to keep a crypto scam afloat, to becoming such a successful paragon of pro-consumer preservation that they are able to save IP from ThisCrap Universe Ubisoft and keep a small part of what little good Ubisoft did alive; while Ubisoft itself is eaten away from the inside by a parasite called Tencent.

Who'd have thought in the 90s Infogrames would one be the savior, and Ubisoft the bloated corpse?

Re: Nightdive's CEO Reiterates Desire To Remaster 'Eternal Darkness'

Zeebor15

While Nintendo has shown SOME respect for Atari's efforts (though probably only at Yhe Tetris Company's insistance) I don't see them ever working together. Mostly due to stubborn pride and bruised egos over how much better Nightdive and DE's emualtion efforts are so much better than NERD and iQue's

Re: Atari Announces Bubsy 4D From 'Demon Turf' Developer Fabraz

Zeebor15

Thanks Wade.

Although I get why Bubsy has a new voice (he was uncredited in 5 and 6 but rumors were that the new Bubsy was a Blacklisted and desperate Vic Mignognia. Someone a dev like Fazbraz would NEVER work with), but the new voice actively try NOT to sound like Menali or Paulson is a choice I don't think will be a good one.

Re: Feature: 32 Games We're Dying To See On Switch 2

All that Sony and Microsoft garbage, and you don't even bother to include the last GOOD ONE (until Astro Bot) Gravity Rush!? But you put in the Communist-Disney Overwatch game. Great. Fantastic.

Putting aside how dogmatically offended I am to have too look at THAT, my answer of these options would be System Shock because Thanks, Wade.
