The Wandering Villiage is the highlight for me. Great little game that was worth the wait.

@HeadPirate While that is true for a lot of studios, what about the studios that had dev kits in advance for launch titles. Namco Bandai is the biggest culprit for this because while I'm glad the new DBZ game is coming, I had hoped they would announce ports for games like Digimon Story Time Stranger, MY HERO ACADEMIA: ALL's Justice, etc too.

Just worried this is gonna be like Switch 1's launch where we just straight up miss out on a lot of releases.

Personally, I was hoping third party devs would be more aggressive with getting their games on the system. There were some neat announcements but I expected more.

Hopefully by year 2, we will start seeing more simultaneous releases.

Am I missing something or is the headline not accurate. The new Switch OLED price is $399. A Switch 2 in the US is $449.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is the big August release for me. I'm just gonna grab the upgrade pack but I may wait until I'm finished with Bananza first to avoid genre overlap.

I'm really hoping that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Switch 1 is solid port. The fact there is no Switch 2 edition or announcement of Switch 2 patch is baffling to me. Falcom should have prioritized this game on Switch 2 given the release date over Ys X Proud Nordics imo. Hopefully they don't do some stupid Definitive Edition in a year.

Interested in Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion but I'm gonna wait for reviews.

Mildy curious to see how Star Wars Outlaws - Gold Edition turns out but the tiny bit of footage shown isn't looking great. =/

Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is a day one buy for me in October. Just deciding where to pick it up from.

So DQIII gets a free performance patch, Saga 2 gets a paid upgrade and DQI & II get nothing.

I don't understand Square Enix lol. Would have loved to see an upgrade (even paid) for DQXIS.

It's nice to see they didn't take forever on the Switch 2 edition. I was expecting Overwatch 2 before Apex.

A customized protagonist seems like an odd choice but I guess I shouldn't fault them for trying something new with the 3rd entry.

@Switching Clair Obscur is a Direct worthy reveal imo. I wouldn't expect a port until next year at the earliest.

Hmm, a Partner Showcase is not the Direct format I was expecting. There's still information we need on stuff like Prime 4 or Air Riders; are they just gonna shadow drop that on Twitter or Nintendo Today? RIP my hopes on more Switch 1 games getting Switch 2 patches soon I guess.

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to this Direct! Hoping they packed a lot into that 25 minutes.

Yikes, no performance enhancements to the base game is gonna upset a lot of people.

I'm curious on the size on the Switch 2 version. Steam is showing 100GB (ugh) for the PC version but I wonder if that's the actual size of the game or a place holder.

Welp, this trailer won me over. The game looks great to me.

Crazy to me that GoA and Cyberpunk got their Switch 1/2 updates with minimal delay but the Switch version of The Hundred Line still hasn't gotten the update that the PC version got two weeks ago. 😔

I just decided to pull the trigger on the The Wandering Village. Loving the vibes of the game so far but I do think the text/UI size is only "acceptable" at best on Switch 2 in handheld mode which really makes me concerned about how it would look a non-OLED Switch 1 or Switch 1 Lite.

I'll be grabbing Donkey Kong physically from Costco due to the slight discount they offer for it in the US.

Auto-driving is a feature that I've wanting since playing the PC version but gave up on the idea of it being added. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for the Switch 2 version to get this update because I'm probably gonna use that in lieu of fast travel for the remainder of my playthrough.

Well I'm hoping this rumor is true. There are a lot of newer games that I'm holding off on buying on PC in hopes that they'll come to Switch 2.

This might be unrealistic but I'm also hoping we'll see more developers provide free patches or paid Switch 2 upgrades for their Switch 1 games.

Yeah, while I wouldn't have been buying this or any of those overpriced editions anyway, that seems like a bad sign to me in regards to how much they'll support these games on Switch 1+2.

I don't think I'll ever get over the disappointment of no fully powered master sword in TOTK. The durability was just right not to be annoying and I love how it always glowed.

TOTK exceeds BOTW in just about every area for me except the lack of that, no trials of the sword and no master mode.

He's right. People jumped on the bandwagon with barely any evidence and then didn't even bother to apologize or admit they were wrong when it came out that Taylor was twisting the truth.

It was insufferable to be on social media during Bayonetta 3's launch because of this mess. The hivemind to boycott the game, Kamiya and Nintendo was ridiculous.

Hope we get that Direct soon. It’s been kind of disheartening seeing all those 3rd party games getting announced with no Switch 2 version.

I’m personally hoping that the Persona 4 Remake gets confirmed (hopium) during the next Direct as well.

This article lists every game that was announced but you’ve gotta read the fine print for the Switch games.

Essentially, no new Switch 1 or Switch 2 games were announced here.

My hopium is that Switch 2 versions will be announced at an upcoming Direct since the only current Switch 2 versions they have announced are games with a Switch 1 release already.

I really want to see My Hero Academia - All Justice and Digimon Story: Time Stranger come to the system.

@Jack_Goetz I was recently watching a video from GVG and apparently Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 does something similar to keep the game around 30-40 fps.

This game has turned out to be a very good fit for me on Switch 2. I spend most of my time in World Tour or Fighting Ground while playing in handheld mode and it's easy jump in for pickup and play sessions.

The modern control scheme also kind of makes up for the lack of a traditional D-pad.

I guess I could always look for a budget tier figure of her like that.

Now that I am playing SF6, I have been tempted to grab Kimberly.

Ironically, this forced me to transition most of my video game buying to Best Buy and I think I'll just stick with them for the foreseeable future.

The devs were asked about a Switch 2 version on Twitter and they gave a very coy answer. Hoping we do get that Switch 2 version as I still want to play the game and this update seems to add good value.
