Tbh, I just think the movie looks great. Not perfect but kind of what I want live action Street Fighter to look.

Namco, at most, should have priced this at $70.

That said, I notice Elden Ring on Steam is still usually full price aside from big holidays so I guess I shouldn't be surprised they would pull this.

I'll wait for reviews and some type of discount before I consider getting this.

Having Switch 2 versions that are day and date like RE9 is good but not at the expense of poor performance.

Yikes. I had considered getting the Switch version with the announcement of Jam.

Switch 2 version would be ideal but that feels like a ban-aid to the general Switch situation. This version already took forever to get the DLC characters after Dizzy.

@Alcea If we can get a Starforce collection that only has 3 main entries (they each have split versions but still), I think there is hope for a Legends Collections with the first two games and the Tron Bon spinoff, regardless of the corporate speak we've gotten about that series recently.

Yeah the monetization kills this game for me. Same with Unite.

Glad we already have the next mainline games announced for Switch 2. (Please don't lose your minds with the pricing on those, TPC....)

Thanks for the review. A few years ago, I would have never thought I'd be able to get collections for both Battle Network and Starforce on the same system and in such a short period of time. Dream come true.

Unless there's a Switch 1 to Switch 2 version upgrade path, I'm good.

@JohnnyMind Yeah a Switch 1 upgrade path would be the only saving grace about a GKC release being cancelled. Not gonna hold my breathe given how NISA has treated every other Switch 2 release but we'll see.

I technically started with RE4 on Wii back in the day but never finished it. I played through Revelations to completion on 3DS but that didn't make me interested to try the other games at the time.

Played through Requeim and loved it. Currently playing through 4 HD on Switch with plans to play 5, 6, REV 1 and REV 2 afterwards. Hoping Switch 2 gets ports of the 2,3,4 remakes. I skipped the remake of the first game because of the giant spiders but I may give 0 a try.

Didn't even know Kirby and FFXII had issues. Cheers for the fixes.

Handheld boost is the type of QoL I’d expect from Sony but never Nintendo. What a great update. They should make a bigger deal about advertising this.

This is such an awesome update. Games like Persona 5 Royal and Dragon Quest XI S instantly benefit.

@UpsideDownRowlet I'd be all over a Kirby cozy game but realistically, it would probably perform similar to Air Riders; good but not great.

Would have been all over this a couple of years ago as I massively enjoy PvE over PvP. Hope the current fans enjoy this enough so that both modes can co-exist.

Awesome news. Very interested to see how the story DLC shapes up and I hope the "minigame" is a mercenaries mode with Leon.

Didn't know photo mode was a staple of the recent games. I wonder if they will give us some more costumes to go with it.

Game is excellent. I hope we get some type of Mercenary mode with Leon. Even after two playthroughs, I want to keep playing.

Just started playing yesterday but it seems cozy and charming. Would probably lean towards an 8/10 but its too early to say for sure.

Regular monster hunter has you hunting monsters with the main gameplay loop of improving your gear to hunt stronger monsters. MHS are creature collecting RPGs where you collect the monsters, ride them and use them in battle to fight other monsters.

Thanks for the review. I finally played the demo last night and decided to pull the trigger on a pre-order. I didn't have many issues with the performance in the demo but I am glad to hear its at least decent in the full game.

Big fan of the game having a voiced protagonist this time. I just went with the default appearance and thought that worked well.

While I know it is a reference to the main games, I do wish these Stories games would embrace overworld BGM.

Gotta wonder why both versions are delayed.

@LastFootnote I think it is intentional? If it were available at release, what would be there to stop people from just transferring high level Pokemon in to breeze through the game?

Kudos to Capcom indeed. I went from no interest in this game to buying the Generations Pack after seeing reviews were positive on both Switch 2 performance and the game overall.

Haven’t played a RE game since Revelations on 3DS. Excited to play this tomorrow.

Advertising the DLC costumes with a generic t-pose is hilarious to me.

Considering they quickly went from indefinite delay back to a firm release date, I am going to hope this is due to performance and not censorship. I never tried refunding my Switch 1 copy so hopefully the Switch 2 version will be worth the additional cost to upgrade.

I really liked the XL models so the 3DS XL and New 3DS XL are my picks.
