But there was some good stuff nestled in there. Detective Pikachu making a comeback was a pleasant surprise, and the Super Mario RPG looks great. I’m also definitely keeping an eye on how the Arkham Trilogy performs.

But at this point I’m convinced Metroid Prime 4 just might be a next gen exclusive.

It actually has a splash of personality compared to the “new” series.

For once not late in the afternoon! Hope to see some cool stuff.

Call it a gut feeling, but I can’t imagine this lasting for all that long. Great if people have fun with it though.

Played a game or two but wasn’t for me. Not much of a multiplayer guy in general.

So I’m starting to go through the Wolfenstein games with New Blood being the first. Really hard but worth it just for BJ’s inner monologues alone. Should be able to get it done before FF16 rolls around.

Speaking of which, beat the demo for that not that long ago and it was good! Combat is the obvious highlight, but the Eikon fights are kinda brain dead and the story comes across as a tad bit edgy thus far. Didn’t blow me away like the rest of the internet but was fun enough.

So what’s next? “NewNewYuzuPiracy” or “SuperNewYuzuPiracy”?

You would think they learned how annoying this was the last time. Weird they confirmed Tactica but not the remake. Guess we just have to wait for the Partner Showcase/Direct to know for sure :/

I’ve watched many a let’s play of this so I’m pretty thrilled I can play it for myself now!

With how thin their back half is there has to be a Direct at some point. If one is landing this month I’m sure it’ll be Partner Showcase and save the big stuff for a late 2023/2024 blowout later in the year.

What in the actual heck is going on at Aspyr? Cancelling this alongside woes of the KOTOR remake isn’t a good look.

The Switch won’t be seeing much use until Tears of the Kingdom comes out less than a week. So in the meanwhile I’ve been playing a cross between Returnal and Crash Team Racing.

Returnal is probably one of if not the best PS5 exclusive right now. Great combat mixed in with sci-fi psychological horror all wrapped up in a bullet hell rouge-like. Got the first ending and now aiming to complete the Tower of Sisyphus.

With CTR I’m just casually going through the Grand Prix racking up coins for whatever character pops up in the Pit Shop. Really fun racer that had the misfortune of being handled monetarily by Activision.

If this is getting the cut then I wonder what’ll happen with Hogwarts Legacy. Heard it was good, not my cup of tea.

Welp I’m undoubtedly going to get flashbanged by spoiler laden thumbnails.

Just wrapped up the Resident Evil 4 remake which was fantastic. Didn’t really enjoy the opening hours but I’m glad I kept at it. Definitely a GOTY contender.

Taking a break from the Switch until Tears of the Kingdom lands. So it’s going to be a mixture of Dead Island 2 and DJ Max Respect/V on the Series X and I might start up Mageseeker on the PS5.

I ordered the PS4 version of Battle Network cause I couldn’t find a Switch copy for the life of me. Looking forward to it!

I sure do love when people turn a fun hobby into an exploitable marketplace of overpriced paper.

Shame. I really enjoyed it when it came out and really digged some of the characters. Haven’t touched it in a long while, but it’s one of the very very VERY few multiplayer games I enjoyed.

This comment section is FAR more civil compared to dregs of Twitter! I’ve got no sympathy for the guy, but the 10mil is a step too far. He absolutely SHOULD be monetarily punished for the crap he pulled, just not to this extreme.

Fusing looks like a more interesting take on crafting. No needless menus with a bunch of scattered ingredients.

I’m excited for it, though they could’ve gone the dedicated direct route for this. If this comment section is something to go by they haven’t done a good job showing off the 6 years of development or justifying the $70 price tag.

GTAV really will never die. How many households does this game inhabit at this point?

Xbox Series X is some more Remnant: Before the Ashes. Great game and really looking forward to the sequel. Preordered the Switch physical too.

And on Switch is Bayonetta Origins, a very solid spin off.

Shame about Bayonetta Origins. I’m about four or five hours in and it’s real good. Probably not my favorite of the year thus far, but pretty close.

How the heck did Activision get third…?

There wouldn’t be so many rumors if Nintendo didn’t drag out this generation for far too long.

Honestly the biggest selling point it’s NOT connected to a billion other games. I do like me some clunky PSP action so I’ll probably check it out.

Just make the game not run like it wants to die most of the time.

More Theaterhythm as usual. I’ve also been making slow progress on Rain World, a game that absolutely demands patience. It’s really good and I want to get to grips with it before the Downpour DLC drops.

Guess I’m not making plans to take off work this year. The Switch is absolutely about to (or already is) wind down so there might not be a whole lot to show.

Wasn’t too impressed with how the game looked regardless what platform it was on.

Theaterhythm all day every day! Doing all of the Series Quests first then I’ll do mission clean up afterwards. Main thing is getting everyone leveled up and unlocking all of the songs.

This whole fiasco is just one giant mess.

Been playing the Theaterhythm demo on the Switch with some Melody of Memory on the side. I still can’t believe the amount of omissions MoM has.

I’ve been hankering to replay Minish Cap on NSO. I’ve played it when I was pretty young with a DS with an unresponsive R trigger. So it’ll be nice to actually play it properly.

Decapolice and the tease for Xeno 3’s story DLC were the highlights for me. It was also neat seeing a release date for Rain Code! Not a bad Direct all in all.

Also holy crap Metroid Remaster oh my god.

I’m not ashamed to admit I got pretty teary eyed during Xenoblade 3’s bittersweet ending.

Switch: It’s been the demo for Final Fantasy Final Bar Line. Really been enjoying it so far and I’m gonna get everything maxed out as possible before its actually release.

Xbox: I’ve had the misfortune of my save for Gunfire Reborn vanishing into thin air and I’m not too happy about that. Gonna try and make up for lost time and get back where I was… which was at Talent Level 90 :/
