Like, I love Shadow of the Erdtree and all, but the show should really be about wholly new releases. A separate category for DLCs is a fine idea, just not as a GOTY nominee.
It’s full steam ahead on Metaphor. About 20+ hours into it and I might prefer this over Persona. Dealing with the Archetypes is a lot more fun than fiddling around with demons/personas. I miiiiiggghhht go for Mario and Luigi as well.
Just got done with the Silent Hill 2 remake which was fantastic. It’s not a replacement of the original, but Bloober really did knock it out of the park, at least for me. Now I can move onto Metaphor Re Fantazio.
Man this sucks. The Rayman games plus the Lost Crown are possibly the best things to come out of Ubisoft in a good while. Hopefully the team are able to find work elsewhere.
The usual Risk of Rain 2. Attempting to unlock the “secret” survivor from the DLC.
I’ve also been playing quite a bit of Astro Bot. Very cute game, though just a tad bit slow for my liking. Still, I’m gonna go for 100% completion since that doesn’t seem to be that hard of a plat.
There’s also another interesting wrench thrown into this: Sony. I doubt they aren’t too thrilled about the lawsuit given the potential PS5 reveal and investment. Curious to see if they’ll throw their hat in the ring.
I hope this mess gets resolved quickly with minimal damages as possible. But like, c’mon now. “Creative ideas”? You don’t have to play for that long to tell how much that game apes off so many other titles.
It’s really annoying/disheartening seeing yet ANOTHER lawsuit from Nintendo. Like, the game isn’t setting the world on fire anymore. I get not putting up having your copyright trampled or whatever. But why risk bad PR when their console is right around the corner.
Well there goes the chances for Palworld on the Switch 2. Kinda surprised Pocketpair didn’t alter some of the more “inspired” designs while the game was hot on the press.
It wasn’t groundbreaking or anything but it was such a cool little game. Played it a ton back in my Vita defending days. Now if we can also dig back up Soul Sacrifice Delta out from its grave that would be swell.
It just has not been a very good couple days for PlayStation, hasn’t it? It’s a shame cause Astro Bot legit looks like the closest thing to classic PlayStation in a long while.
Dragon Ball Fighterz came out pretty well on the Switch (from the perspective of a super casual fan) so I don’t think Strive will have a difficult time with it. Mortal Kombat 1 this isn’t.
My Risk of Rain 2 addiction is dragging me back into hours of failed monsoon runs. I’ve been also been playing VIVIDLOPE on the Switch. Real charming puzzler.
I guess it would be Sonic Heroes. I loved, loved, LOVED the game back in the day but I know it’s far from perfect. I’m pretty sure my opinion on it would lessened playing it nowadays but it still has a spot in my heart.

Re: Mario & Luigi's Future In Doubt As A Potential Sony Acquisition Emerges
If this is true then Sony is just as bad as Microsoft. Enough with the freaking acquisitions already.

Re: Riviera: The Promised Land Remaster Gets Western Release Date On Switch
Crossing my fingers for Knights in the Nightmare. $35 for this though is kinda steep.
Re: Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Receives A Surprise Update, Here's What's Included
Better late than never I guess.

Re: Kojima Productions Reportedly Gains Full Control Of Death Stranding IP
If anything it would be an interesting test to see how the successor could handle it.
Re: Take-Two Sells Private Division For Undisclosed Sum
Hopefully it’s not someone like Embracer snagging them up.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
I’ve been getting into [Redacted], the Callisto Protocol spin-off and it’s pretty good so far. Might do some Shadows of the Damned as well.
Re: 'Nintendo Music' Is A New Mobile App Exclusive To Switch Online Members
They will announce anything BUT the Switch 2. That being said I do like me some Nintendo tunes without having to rely on YouTube exclusively.
Re: Exclusive: Survival Horror RPG 'Chernobylite Complete Edition' Is Coming To Switch
I never would’ve thought this would ever hit Switch.

Re: Review: Nikoderiko: The Magical World (Switch) - A Gleeful DKC Tribute, But Light On New Ideas
Playing it on the PS5 and it’s pretty good. No where near the quality of Donkey Kong or Crash, but it’s a fine enough platformer.
Re: Talking Point: Just How Damaging Is This Big Pokémon Leak?
I hope the leaker knows the gigamaxxed bear they’re poking.
Re: Nintendo Asks Switch Online Playtest Program Participants To "Not Discuss Or Disclose Content"

Yeesh that is some JARRING fluctuations. The poor thing just can’t keep up anymore.
Re: Nintendo Is Reportedly Targeting AI-Generated Mario Pictures
These are the DMCA takedowns I can get behind. Some of these AI generated slop are getting a bit too good.
Re: It's Official, LEGO Horizon Adventures Launches On Switch This November
So are the PlayStation costumes going to be in the Switch version as well?
Re: Stunning-Looking RPG 'DECAPOLICE' Will Now Launch In 2026
2026!?!?
Wha-?
How do you announce something for 2023 and delay it for 3 years??? The heck kind of production is going on there?
Re: Talking Point: So Then, Is This 'Switch 2' Leak Legit?
At this point I’m questioning Nintendo even knows what the Switch 2 looks like.
Re: Sonic Central Presentation To Give "Sneak Peek" At Upcoming Projects On 24th September
These are usually Twitter-tier announcements. Like to be wrong though for this one.
Re: Review: Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (Switch) - A Lick Of Paint Works Wonders
I’ll probably go for the PS5 version for dem frames. Never tried the original so I’m excited to see what all of the hype around this game is.
Re: Light The Beacons! 'Tales Of The Shire' Gets Cosy On Switch In March 2025
Hopefully it’s better put together than Gollum.

Re: Review: REYNATIS (Switch) - Underbaked Action-RPG Fare That Plays Rough On Switch
It’s got that scrappy jank PS2 charm which I love. Dunno if it’s worth the full $60 but I’ll keep an eye on it.
Re: UK Charts: Warhammer Dominates While Only One Nintendo Title Makes The Top 10
Pretty cool seeing Warhammer at the top of the charts.
Re: Review: The Plucky Squire (Switch) - Enormously Charming, But Not So Plucky On Switch
The poor Switch needs to be put in an old folks’ home.
Re: Tetsuya Nomura Contemplates Retirement And Concluding Kingdom Hearts
The dude deserves his retirement. Love the KH series and looking forward to whatever whacky conclusion he brings.

This company makes my brain hurt sometimes, lol.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th September)
Wild ***** and some Marvel VS Capcom here and there.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th September)
I’m going for the plat for Gori Cuddly Carnage. Also been doing some Risk of Rain Returns.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (31st August)
Risk of Rain 2 is pretty borked at the moment so I guess some more Gori on the PS5 and the Castlevania DS collection on the Switch.
Re: Guilty Gear Strive Confirmed For Switch In 2025, Includes Rollback Netcode
Dragon Ball Fighterz came out pretty well on the Switch (from the perspective of a super casual fan) so I don’t think Strive will have a difficult time with it. Mortal Kombat 1 this isn’t.
Re: Review: Castlevania Dominus Collection (Switch) - The Strongest Konami Compilation Yet
These collections are an absolute goldmine. Now if only they could do an actual good Silent Hill collection…
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club
All I needed to hear was if the story is good or not. Looking forward to it.
Re: Reaction: Shadow Drops & Surprises - A Stuffed Direct With Something For Everyone
It was a pretty good double feature all things considered. STALKER, Pizza Tower, Castlevania, freaking Yakuza finally gracing the Switch.
Re: Nintendo Indie World & Partner Direct Announced For Tomorrow, August 27th 2024
Nine Sols was rated for consoles not that long ago so hopefully that’ll make an appearance.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (24th August)
Some Atlas Fallen. I’m also doing a mix of Cult of the Lamb, Enter the Gungeon, and Risk of Rain 2. Been on a real rougelike kick lately.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th August)
My Risk of Rain 2 addiction is dragging me back into hours of failed monsoon runs. I’ve been also been playing VIVIDLOPE on the Switch. Real charming puzzler.
Re: Critically Acclaimed 2D Sekiro-Like 'Nine Sols' Has Been Rated For Switch
Gimmie gimmie gimmie. Love the look of it.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd August)
Been messing around with some Salt and Sanctuary and Post Void.
Re: Random: Zelda Fan Jailed For Carrying Small Master Sword Replica
Yeesh that’s unfortunate. Granted if I saw someone with a 6 inch blade I’d probably keep my distance!
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Nervous To Replay In Case They Don't Hold Up?
