I’m 80% sure this year will finally be the year Switch 2 is announced. But if we get like a big 3D Mario title for next Direct then we’ll definitely be stuck with the old toaster for another year.
It is a freaking nightmare navigating the eShop thanks to the slop that drowns out all the good stuff. The next gen console or whatever it is NEEDS actual quality control.
Trepang2! Feels like a long lost 360 game in the best way possible. I’ll probably also head back into FF16’s new game plus now that the first half of the DLC is out. The game is a heck of a lot better on a higher difficulty and skipping every mind numbing cutscene.
One that comes to mind is Cave Story’s moon logic to get the true ending. Why yes, I should ignore the dying old man who just fell in a pit! Fantastic game otherwise.
Kinda bummed there wasn’t an update on Freedom Planet 2 (which is still Winter 2023 apparently???) or Laika. But it did have On Your Tail which looks pretty interesting, and Chimera Blade too.
Probably gonna pick up Backpack Hero when that comes later today.
The biggest is better quality control on the eShop. It’s so freaking annoying seeing the same game (I’m looking at you Knights and Guns) with an absurd amount of “editions”. Let me blacklist these fools at the very least.
I’m hoping to beat Lies of P this weekend, and depending which ending I get I might new game plus it to get the best one. Real good game, top 5 of the year for sure. Thinking about getting back into the Borderlands trilogy now that they’re all on Switch. Never did got around to those DLCs.
Beat Neon White and got the true ending. Real cool game and the dialogue didn’t bother me as much as some others. Actually got pretty hooked on the story more than the speedrunning aspect.

Re: Talking Point: Could Nintendo Go Another Year Without A Switch Successor?
I’m in the camp that it’s time to move on.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Ports We'd Love To See In 2024
BG3 would make the Switch into a pipe bomb. Maybe next console if Nintendo lent a hand getting it to work.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas 2023 Edition)
Probably not a whole not before Christmas cause of work. I do want to give the Dad of War games another shot though.
Re: WTF: What Exactly Is This Switch eShop Garbage, Nintendo?
It is a freaking nightmare navigating the eShop thanks to the slop that drowns out all the good stuff. The next gen console or whatever it is NEEDS actual quality control.
Re: Sea Of Stars Has Reached More Than 4 Million Players In 4 Months
I’ll play it once it hits physical. Still got plenty to get through in the meanwhile.
Re: Sea Of Stars Developer Sabotage Replacing 'The Completionist' NPC
Man. His videos were a fun time. Shame what came to light.
Re: Your 'Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2023' Stats Are Available Now
No surprise Theaterhyrhm is my most played, clocking in about 70 hours. This year’s been quite a bit on the PS5, so not as much on the ol’ Switch.
Re: Freedom Planet 2 Switch Release Delayed To Spring 2024
Ah that’s a shame, but I rather it come out perfect than waiting for a patch or three.

Re: The Game Awards GOTY For 2023 Is Baldur's Gate 3
I keep planning on playing it sometime but I’m glad they won. And against freaking Legend of Zelda!
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Wins Best Action/Adventure Game At TGA 2023
Haven’t played much of it but I’m glad it won something.
Re: EA Is Bringing A New 'EA Originals' Title To Switch In April Next Year
Game looks good!
Re: Talking Point: What's Next For The Super Smash Bros. Series?
I’m betting a reboot. A lot of veteran fighters need a refreshed move set and not have so many clone characters.
Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Switch Port Is Still Alive, Coming Early 2024
Hopefully this’ll end up as one of the greats and not like Arkham Knight.
Re: Talking Point: What Are The Worst Parts Of Your Favourite Games?
One that comes to mind is Cave Story’s moon logic to get the true ending. Why yes, I should ignore the dying old man who just fell in a pit! Fantastic game otherwise.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Batman: Arkham Trilogy
Two seconds into porting Knight should’ve been enough to change course. Why not use Origins instead?
Re: Poll: What Is Your Favourite Character Reveal Trailer For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
Sora’s trailer was the best. A literal dream come true.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 2nd)
More Astlibra if I have the time. Planning on finishing up Sam and Max Save the Earth and move on to the sequal.
Re: Critically Acclaimed 'Motorvania' Laika: Aged Through Blood Locks In Switch Date
Man the first quarter of 2024 is freaking insane. Really excited for this!
Re: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2's Next Update Addresses Community Feedback
Kinda wish the Switch version wasn’t so low on the priority list.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 25th)
I’ve been playing a lot of Astlibra Revision for the past couple days. It’s a really fun passion project, jank and all.
Re: Bandai Namco Survey Asks Pac-Man World Re-PAC Players To Share Their Experience
Funnily enough I just bought this on Switch today. Weird. Also, yes please remaster/remake World 2.
Re: Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition Finally Blasts Onto Switch Next Month
I’m going to see how it holds up before committing. If it can punch above it’s weight then I’ll definitely pick it up on Switch.
Re: 'Blade Chimera' Combines Stunning Pixel Art With Stylish Metroidvania Action
The name “Team Ladybug” is enough to sell me on this.
Re: Poll: So, How Would You Rate That Nintendo Indie World Showcase?
Kinda bummed there wasn’t an update on Freedom Planet 2 (which is still Winter 2023 apparently???) or Laika. But it did have On Your Tail which looks pretty interesting, and Chimera Blade too.
Probably gonna pick up Backpack Hero when that comes later today.
Re: Nintendo Announces Indie World Showcase For Tomorrow, November 14th
C’mon Freedom Planet 2.
Re: Braid: Anniversary Edition Out Next Year, But There's No Mention Of A Switch Release
Might be a case of “I don’t want to compromise my vision”. Real annoying he hasn’t listed a reason why Switch is not listed or even an acknowledgment.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 11th)
A combo of Risk of Rain Returns and the Survivors of the Void DLC now that it FINALLY hit consoles. Also do a bit of Borderlands 2 questing.
Re: Review: DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing - Ain't The Sharpest Tool In The Shed
Playing it on the PS5, and yeah, it’s serviceable. Not awful but there’s a million other better alternatives.
Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way
As others pointed out: Don’t dismiss the Vita! Yeah it didn’t light the world on fire but it was certainly ahead of its time.
Oh and yeah Steam Deck.
Re: Surprise! Nintendo Is Officially Working On A Live-Action Legend Of Zelda Movie
Chris Pratt Link baaaabbbyyy.
Jokes aside, at least it’s not Illumination. The Mario Movie is fine for what it is, but something like Zelda needs a bit more substance.
Re: Review: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 - A Poor Switch Port Of A Promising Platform Pounder
I’d imagine this’ll go on sale pretty quick with all the DLC included.
Re: Best 18+ Switch Games For Adults
I’ve beaten Bioshock 1 and Infinite, but never the second one. I should really get around to that.
Re: Shuntaro Furukawa Claims Recent 'Switch 2' Rumours Are Not Accurate
Hey, if you want to disprove rumors why not show the console? C’mon, prove those rumors wrong!
Re: Review: World Of Horror - One Of The Most Unique Roguelites On Switch
Waiting for the physical release which, funnily enough, is coming out during December. Gonna have myself some spooky holidays!
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Kirby Mass Attack
The US one cause angry Kirby will never not be funny.
Re: Hands On: Bluey: The Videogame, In Real Life
Gonna get the PS5 version for that 4K/60 Bluey experience.
Like, no joke, my little brother would have a ball with this.
Re: Sega's Executive Director Wants Sonic Games And Movies To "Surpass Mario"
Action speaks louder than words. Give the devs the time they need to really deliver something special.
Also don’t make cool stuff Apple Arcade exclusive.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 28th)
Borderlands 2 on the Switch baby. Might start Alan Wake 2 sometime as well.
Re: Talking Point: Along With Joy-Con Drift, What Does Nintendo Have To 'Fix' With 'Switch 2'?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 21st)
Wrapped up Lies of P. Great game. Got really nothing else other than just doing quests in Borderlands.
Re: It Looks Like Robocop: Rogue City Has Been Quietly Cancelled On Switch
After Mortal Kombat 1 that’s fine honestly.
Re: Random: Players Share Bananas Gameplay Of New King Kong Game, And It's Not Looking Good
The movie tie in game on the PS2 looks leagues better than whatever this is.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 14th)

Poor Alan looks like he needs a nap.
Re: Laika: Aged Through Blood Is A Brutal Blend Of Metroidvania, Mad Max, And Excitebike
Been looking forward to this one for a while.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 30th)
Beat Neon White and got the true ending. Real cool game and the dialogue didn’t bother me as much as some others. Actually got pretty hooked on the story more than the speedrunning aspect.
I’m planning on some Lies of P thereafter.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 23rd)
Lies of P mainly.

Would’ve been better if they killed the fee outright.
