If you’re a farmer than it’s an S+ Direct. In all seriousness it was alright. Nothing mind blowing save for a couple stuff like Theaterhythm, Rain Code, and Kirby Deluxe. That bit with Pikmin Bloom was an absolute pace breaker though.

I do think all of the rumor mongering didn’t help tampering expectations.

Theaterhythm is one of my most favorite 3DS games and I couldn’t be happier! A personal highlight out of the whole direct next to Rain Code.

I’m in an Oddworld mood so I finally cracked open Soulstorm and giving that a shot. Only on the second level but I really do love the darker tone it’s going for.

Still chipping away at Xenoblade 3. On Chapter 6 and doing whatever side quests I can. Such a sparking good game!

It’s always fun seeing devs cram big titles into smaller file sizes.

From an outsider’s view the game looks very barebones regarding its single player offerings, so no huge loss in my book. Hopefully the next console is around the corner… right?

Islets was a ton of fun. Really enjoyed it to the point of 100% completing it.

I’d be down if it was just an all-star Capcom fighter that didn’t skimp out on budget like MvC:I did. Just make the characters fun and expressive and I’ll be the first one in line.

I guess I’m one of the only people who actually likes the game. It’s far from perfect, but it’s got a lot of charm and personality. If rumors be true then this’ll probably show up in the (maybe) September Direct.

Upping the Switch’s price, with no improvements or incentives, would be an absolute PR nightmare worse than what Sony’s suffering.

I’m amazed how brazen Sony is with that artificial increase. Have they not learned what happened with the PS3?

I despise pirates, but I hate needless resource hogs even more. Hopefully devs (and especially publishers) don’t opt for it.

Thus far I’m on the start of Chapter 5 on Xenoblade 3 and I wanna get more quests done before what will probably be an onslaught of story cutscenes. Right now I’m LV.64 and I want to get a couple more levels in Would much rather steamroll than get slapped with a roadblock, especially in an RPG.

I’ve also just done a Hard/Plasma Cutter only playthrough on Dead Space and, yeah, it’s a classic for a reason. Just started the sequel and it already feels so much better compared what was already a fantastic game.

Definitely give it a go… after some patch work. The Switch version feels like it’s being tied together with spit and glue.

NoA is starting to sound like any other company in the US from the looks of it. If this is true (Kotaku ain’t the first or last place I wanna get news from) then there needs to be an upheaval over at the company.

I used to play the Bleach fighting game with my friends all the time! Took an eternity, but it was fun while it lasted.

If they can somehow make it work next go around that would be pretty sweet.

I’m getting the physical version on the Xbox down the line so no skin off my back. But these Cloud versions continue to not make a compelling sales pitch to even bother with them.

I might bite on the Series X because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this game. I glad they’re taking their time with it though.

Unfortunately the moment Nintendo releases new hardware people are gonna do their darnedest to emulate it as quickly as possible. These stories of Steam Deck emulation aren’t going to go away, as much as I like them too.

Beat Door to Phantomile and I’m working my way through Lunatea’s Veil. I’ve also been shooting a bunch of yokai in Shadow Warrior 3.

On Switch it’s Wally and the Fantastic Predators, another rougelite but pretty charming.

I’m confident it’ll turn out well given the two year porting process, though I’m definitely keeping an eye on Switch Up/Digital Foundry before taking the plunge.

I’ve completed the good/true route on Omori and I’ll do the hikikomori route sometime in the near future. Other than that I’m gunning to beat both Klonoa Door to Phantomile and Lunatea’s Veil on the Series X before Xenoblade 3 comes strolling on in.

Why bother? Just why? Can we move on from this practice already? If you’re not going to bother, then don’t bother with a half hearted cloud port.

Good Lord October is one heck of a month. From No More Heroes 3 getting released on current-gen to Persona and now to THIS? Heck, even PlayStation folks have Dad of War 2 coming out during the spooky season.

I mean, if it looks and plays like trash I’ve got other avenues. Still, I’m pretty confident it’ll turn out alright.

It looks really cool, always fun to see more game-centric Switch designs. I’m definitely holding off buying another until the eventual Pro/Next-Gen.

I really need to start and beat Three Hopes before the flood gates comes crashing in. October alone has freaking Nier, Sparks of Hope, P5R, and No Man’s Sky. A lot to look forward to!

So far Elden Ring is the raging champ for me with Kirby coming in second.

Bonkers that a Nier game is finally landing on a Nintendo console. Hopefully we can see the game in action sometime soon!

The gold standard for Partner Showcases. Nier, PAC Man, Portal, the Battle Network games, and freaking Persona is finally and truly a multiplat game.

I’m… not flustered by the lack of Nintendo stuff. There’s plenty on the horizon and more so now.

Partner Showcases get more flak than they honestly deserve. I’m looking forward to it, and they can still cram quite a bit of info in 20 minutes.

I’d like to see a new direct, but I don’t need one at the moment. I’ve got PLENTY to work through as is. Plus with stuff on the horizon like Three Hopes and Klonoa, there’s still quite a bit to look forward to.

XC3 is in a weird spot given it’s releasing earlier than intended. I guess they feel the need to front load information before it releases?

Though not the same, there have been instances of an Indie Direct being followed up with an actual Direct. So there’s hope yet! Maybe!

After the whole mess with the KH games I can’t shake off the concern of an impending cloud version. It seems like that’s not the case… but it’s Square, so who knows.

The actual game does look pretty good though! Honestly it’s the highlight of the presentation for me.

If they don’t want to spare the effort bringing it over, than I see no reason to spare the effort buying it on other platforms. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely FANTASTIC this series can flourish outside of PlayStation. But I’m just tired of this “will they, won’t they” back and forth. If it ain’t coming, then say it’s not coming.

It would be such a missed opportunity to not have P3P on a console that’s actually portable.

Please, for once Atlus, don’t be you for a second and actually pull the port trigger already.

Wasn’t there a shareholder’s meeting happening on that day? Also, freaking XENOBLADE 3 comes out in the 29th as well! If anything, a direct should be happening before all of that. But I guess we’ll know in a couple days if this rumor is total bull or not.

Making my way through .Hack GU Last Recode. So far I’m on Vol.3 and enjoying it quite a bit.

A more capable and beefier Switch seems like the safest way to go, with BC+Framerate/Resolution. I’m not asking for a portable PS5, but it would be nice if I didn’t have fear any big game coming to it getting a slap-dash cloud port.

I bought HW three different times on three different platforms sinking more hours than I care to admit. It’s the most “basic” out of the bunch, but the years of additional content makes it the best out of the bunch.

AoC is very, very, very close to it. Hopefully the next Switch (if it is and has BC) can make it truly shine without the poor resolution/frame rate.

Just finished up Crash 4 with zero interest to 100% completing it. It’s a good game, but they went WAY overboard with all of the gems and relics. Other than that I’ll be working on de Blob and get back to doodling with Colors Live.

On the Series X side of things I’ll either get around to Enslaved or Greedfall.

E3 or not it’s about that time for an update since the last was all the way back in February.

I’m just curious to see how this thing runs. It’s definitely native given it’s selling on Amazon and Target. If it’s decently optimized and actually good I’ll snag a pre-owned copy.
