We've got the latest UK Charts for you and there are quite a few new releases to cover this week, though none have been able to de-throne Hogwarts Legacy, which has remained at number one since its release.
First up, we've got Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe entering the charts at number three, proving that the UK continues to have a high appetite for all things Kirby after the likes of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Kirby's Dream Buffet.
Next up, Octopath Traveler II debuts at number six, which is entirely respectable for what is effectively a very niche RPG franchise from Square Enix. In terms of the sales split, the game comfortably sold the most on Switch at 74%, with the PS5 making up 24%, and the PS4 2%.
We've also got Atomic Heart and Like a Dragon: Ishin! entering the charts at number seven and eight respectively. It's worth noting that the former was a day one release on Game Pass, so Xbox sales only made up 13% of the split.
Here's your look at the full UK charts:

Just getting stuck into Kirby as we speak. It's a great game with plenty of content. Should keep me busy for this and likely next week with the extra mini-games and additional story mode added in.
Was such a strong week, I bought Octopath and Kirby but really wanted Like A Dragon too.
Considering Return To Dream Land is a remake of a 11 year old game, debuting at 3 is impressive!
Taking into account it's the UK we're talking about, that's a great release for both Kirby and OT 2!
I'm having a wonderful time playing Kirby co-op. Beautiful, great controls, wonderful music, chaotic at times and full of content!
Curious to see how Return to Dreamland sold compared to Star Allies at launch...
What I got to play of Like A Dragon was fantastic, then next day it had a 27GB update ! So I will get to play more when my Internet renews on Friday So tired of that stuff lol.
Back to Prime Remastered
Kirby at 3 is impressive on first glance, but then you notice it's behind a FIFA game that released 6 months ago...
@BANJO
£25 a week, crikey.
Glad to see Ishin make it to the top 10.
@Uncle_Franklin I got it for £42 so £21 a week I guess, I will likely play it with my nephew after, and that's priceless 😄
@BANJO
I've definitely spent more than that on a night out out be fair.
Would be a more enticing proposition for me if the mini games were online though.
@Uncle_Franklin It is quite alot I guess, especially when I just got the Metro Collection (All 3 FPS games) for £9.99 on My Series S.
Nintendo first-party games are my weakness to get at launch and pay big bucks for..
Basically everything else I get on sale later on for well well below the rrp.
Also yes, if the mini games were online that would certainly help. 😀
@nocdaes well, there were still 4 new games this week, so sales are split (I know they are pretty different games, but there still is lots of people who like at least two of those games and had to decide wich to buy). And is still a (great) remastered, so it's still impressive.
@SilverM True, and this is only physical of course. However, a 6 month old FIFA will be doing a couple of thousand units a week. That means Kirby and Octopath did less than 2,000 units.
At least Kirby was a remaster. SE must be very disappointed with that result for a brand new release...
Good debut for Kirby. Definitely plan on picking the game up eventually.
@BANJO I do the same. I did break that rule for halo infinite though. That was a mistake 😆 I did enjoy the campaign on the whole though even if it’s not the best. Nintendo hasn’t let me down yet.
@old-dad what do you mean internet renews?
I do plan to get Kirby as I did like the demo a good deal. Right now im trying to decide on hogwarts legacy. Im not the biggest Harry Potter fan, I liked the movies well enough, but the game actually looks pretty good.
@Baler Exactly, Xbox wise I will be all digital going forwards having a Series S I will have to be. So I enjoy getting physical copys of Nintendos first party games on the Switch.
I enjoyed Halo Infinites campaign too, it was a solid game. As you say Nintendo haven't let me down yet.
Ah yes Harry Potter and FIFA is the hottest thing for UK
Hogwarts Legacy really is a great game. I don't know how it's going to look on the Switch but it's absolutely gorgeous on the PS5. Definitely looking like a GOTY contender.
Still waiting for my pre- ordered copy to arrive. Our postal service truly is top- tier.
@Baler Have data cap with internet. Can't get dsl/cable and have to use hotspot device.
@nocdaes you're forgetting that the UK is football land and historically has always been Nintendo's weakest market, the reason they've managed to gain ground here is because the PS5 had such a difficult launch and the Switch was readily available over lockdown to the joy of many a bored Brit.
Seriously though football is drummed into you from birth that it's the national pastime and you'll participate whether you like it or not 😒
@Otoemetry Yep, and it's possible FIFA did sell more units, especially if it had a promotion or a permanent price drop recently. Still, you'd expect it to be single digit thousands - we are football mad here, but that's why the first weeks of a FIFA release are in the triple digit thousand units! Given the impressive Switch install base, that means Kirby and Octopath have done quite poorly (on physical at least). I suspect Octopath would have shifted a fair few digital. Kirby I'm not sure... I did buy it on digital, but I had a voucher that was close to expiry!
