I've just finished connecting the Wii up to the TV again - that random box of cables that we've all got somewhere did me proud. Super Mario Galaxy here I come!

Curry's PC World dropped the price to £44.99 and with a code you could briefly pick the game up for £39.99. Amazon price matched the £44.99 (they wouldn't price match the discount code). PC World put the price back up, by which time everyone was out of stock anyway. There's no conspiracy.

@carlos82 I started buying games off Base a good few years back when I first got my Vita. Companies like Shopto, Base and The Game Collection offer some big discounts and I've always had good service from them.

I'm starting to experience quite strong FOMO symptoms, but I still haven't pre-ordered.

I finally bought the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC for Mario + Rabbids. It's half price at the moment (£5.99 in the UK).

I wasn't entirely convinced by Sayonara Wild Hearts. I knew it was going to be short and arty, but I've enjoyed a lot of short and arty games in the past! Whilst I really enjoyed some stages, others just left me feeling a little nauseous / frazzled and I ended up skipping out on them. Also the whole game just seemed too fragmented, I wanted each stage to merge into the next but it kept on breaking to tell my how badly I'd done in the previous stage. I enjoyed Edith Finch though.

I liked Astral Chain more than Bayonetta, but not as much as Nier.

I like Spawn Wave. He's really grown on me. Good content.

Mixed emotions. I'd love to play Galaxy again, but I'm not so interested in 64 and Sunshine. I'd rather have seen Galaxy 1 and 2 together in their own collection. As much as I'd like to play World again, it's ANOTHER Wii U re-release... although the Bowser's Fury content has piqued my interest.

Paper Mario. I enjoyed it quite a bit when it first arrived, but quickly got distracted by Ni No Kuni. I picked Paper Mario up again last night and remember just how much fun it was.

Probably quite a few. I watched a trailer for Windbound earlier and thought that looked really lovely. Based on how much I enjoyed Golf Story, Sports Story seems another obvious one.

Despite being critical of the Kickstarter, I did get my copy in the end and I was pleased with the backers cover and I've really enjoyed playing the game again.

Big Bobby Car: The Big Race is a day one for me. The rest... not so much.

I've been enjoying Paper Mario, but I've just picked up Dragon's Dogma in the sale and I'm keen to give that a try.

I loved The Complete Saga back on Wii. My (now) fourteen year old son and I have some really lovely memories of playing that game together. Sadly, as with a lot of Switch games, you've got to try and contain your enthusiasm until you find out how well it's been ported.

The demo of The Touryst left me wanting more, plus it's on offer and was actually on my wishlist so that's very tempting! I'm enjoying Paper Mario though so I'll try and concentrate on that - The Touryst is on offer for a few weeks yet.

As someone with only a passing interest in football (I enjoy a kick around with my mates but don’t really follow it) this looks a shed load more appealing than another FIFA game.

I'm sure that I was indifferent.

I was convinced at the eleventh hour - mostly by the music and the humour. I've got my copy - with magnets and origami set of course.

It looks really good - like Sabre have pulled out all the stops again. £26.99 seems like a reasonable starting point too.

I've never played a Paper Mario game before and I have no expectations. I'm going to enjoy it for what it is, not what it used to be or could have been.

Mancala is certainly my favourite, hotly followed by Yacht dice and the card games. I think a lot of the traditional games have been translated really well in this collection. I'm not sure I see the point of the "toy" games or some of the other more arcade-style games. They must have taken precious time to develop, but the result seems very throw-away.

They've gradually chipped away at my apathy towards this game. Time to get my pre-order in.

Bit hard up in the UK at the moment, realised I had five bucks in my US account and the rest (as they say) is history.

The updates look awesome. My interest had started to wane a little... but to be fair I have put in over 150 hours.

Nothing new for me this week. I've been playing quite a bit of Diablo 3, so long may that continue.

I picked up the expansion pass for £19.85 from Shopto in the UK. A nice little saving on the eshop price.

@KoopaTheQuick Usually a sign that some new console stock has arrived in the UK. Mario Kart is a classic day one game for a lot of people.

When I sat down last night I fully intended to tick Edith Finch off my backlog. I ended up starting Super Mario Odyssey from scratch...

I paid for Bastion with Gold Coins and splurged something like three quid on Transistor. My wallet will live to fight another day!

I'd like to see that Transformers: Devastation game that Platinum developed find its way to Switch. I had some fun with that on PS4. Sadly it looks like Activision's license with Hasbro has expired...

@lumothesinner The Game Collection had it for £34.99. They’re a good seller and I’ve used them a lot. Bought Witcher 3 at a good price from them only last month.

I've been playing it with my eight year old this morning. For me the performance docked is the only thing that lets it down (which my son didn't notice anyway). Otherwise it's a fun couch co-up dungeon crawler that you can play with the kids. As Len Goodman would say SEVEN!

@Zeldafan79 To be fair, there's not a lot there to get excited about.

Tempted by quite a few games. Ended up buying Bastion and Transistor. I've enjoyed Bastion before, but not for a long time and I never got round to Transistor. I had a few gold coins so it worked out as a lot of game for £3.

I wasn't initially interested, but the more I think about it, the more I think I'll enjoy it. I'm pretty sure I'll cave soon!

I'd really like a shot at Burnout Paradise but the price has put me off. I'm guessing as it's EA there's a good chance of a reduction at some stage, and I have patience on my side. I'm not really that interested in Paper Mario, although I felt very much the same about Animal Crossing. I ended up sticking in a pre-order and 120 hours of island life later I'll admit that I was wrong.
