Today sees the latest Nintendo-published title, Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics (or 51 Worldwide Games as it's known in Europe) launching on Switch, so we thought it'd be nice to see just how many of you lovely lot are thinking of picking it up.
As you may be aware, the game is actually a successor to Clubhouse Games (known as 42 All-Time Classics in Europe) on Nintendo DS. This new entry includes 51 games, obviously, as well as a piano for some reason, all of which are listed below.
In our review, we highlighted the fact that the new game contains such a wide enough variety of board, card and action games that you're sure to find a number that will appeal to you. The presentation is perhaps the icing on the cake, too, going well above and beyond what you'd usually see in what is essentially a minigame compilation-style release.
So, over to you. Are you planning on buying Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics?
If you haven't yet ordered your copy, you can grab a physical version of the game below. Feel free to expand upon your answer in the comments!

I will consider that game but not Day One.
No brainer here. This is the greatest classic collection ever assembled.
I have it pre ordered i might have wait a few days to get it..
Ended up getting it digitally as I'll get a lot more use out of it if I can quickly load it up here and there between other games rather than swapping out the cartridge each time. My opinions on it so far are a little mixed but I've been enjoying playing Hanafuda against the AI at least.
At the time I voted, 51% of participants said that they will be getting 51 Worldwide Classics.
I'm sure it's lot of fun but it's not what I want to play right now - a good portable racing game. Fingers crossed for Burnout running nicely in handheld mode!
Pre-ordered, the game arrived this morning and I’m having an absolute blast.
Should arrive today. Irrationally excited for this one
Pre-purchase via eShop and started playing this morning! It's a great value.
@Bmartin001 me too. Preordered on Amazon in the US and it didn't even ship yet...
I was going to wait, but at stop to it was discounted 20% (link on euro-gamer)
still very disappointed Go isn't included..
I wasn't gonna get this, but then I played President on the demo and got hooked. Gonna sell Pokémon Sword to get this ASAP
I've had it since it unlocked at midnight:04 BST, and still haven't gone through everything yet. Been enjoying Mancala, Dots and Boxes, and Ludo, with a few of the other games in between.
Certainly wasn't on my radar when it was initially revealed, but then changed my mind and preordered it from The Game Collection yesterday.
Arrived today and it came with an official 51 Clubhouse Games notepad and pen, which is a nice little touch.
bowling, just for bowling
Absolutley, heading out to Walmart to pick it up in about an hour, cant wait!!
I'm downloading the demo and see what I feel
I might consider it if a reasonable number of the games can be played in two player mode on a Switch Lite without any JoyCons. Anybody know?
@romanista
It's not suprisingly that Go isn't included as while the rules are simple, it's strategically immensely complicated, takes a long time to play decently and is also difficult to tell if you're doing well. It's a game that takes a lot of dedication and isn't pick up and play.
Go takes far too long to play a game on a full sized board, thus not a good choice for a collection of casual pick up and play games. Any AI would likely play terribly, although to be fair it would probably be good enough to beat most casual players easily. I can see it would be kind of cool but I understand why it's missing.
my kids seen add and annoyed me all week. so got it today and to dampen the pain of having play it with them bought myself the outer worlds
@Anguspuss Can’t go wrong there.
already got it and i'm hooked to Uno........ i mean last card. that and janky one octave piano
I'm just not psyched for anything here. I might be tempted if I didn't already have Chess Ultra and a Mahjong game on the Switch already. And backgammon is always fun, but I own three backgammon sets.
I'm sure this will be available at a deep discount pretty soon, might buy it then.
I'm going to try it on my banned switch first, then if i like it, buy it.
Bought it last night.
Been waiting for the unlock since it was announced. So many good memories of the original on DS.
Definitely not buying it. It certainly has its audience, but I prefer playing this kind of games in their "real life" versions.
Preordered a physical copy from Best Buy due to be delivered today. With four Switch's in house and the option to play with those not having a physical copy on their console our family is bound to have some fun with this. Even the bowling looks really promising.
Hopefully Nintendo gives us a look at some of what we can look forward to the rest of the year at some point this summer.
@Pac-Manc Atleast 47 of the 51 games can be played in multi-player, whether that be Online or using the same switch. Iv been playing it for a few hours today on both single player and multi-player and its really great! Well worth the price, hours and hours of fun to be had with it for sure!
I've got too much to play at the moment so I'm not getting it straight away but it does look like a fun little party game ☺️
I’m all about it!
Yep! The next time I'm at Target and they have it, I'll make the purchase. I want this one on cartridge form even though I prefer to download most games these days. We own 3 Switches and having this game on cart to throw in either system will be a benefit.
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this ever since it’s announcement in the mini Direct!
I wasn't initially interested, but the more I think about it, the more I think I'll enjoy it. I'm pretty sure I'll cave soon!
Already played a bunch of it. The selection of games is great and I can already see this being one of those games I will constantly come back to. Online experience was a bit mixed so far though. I played Uno, Blackjack and Poker and noticed a bit of lag (minor and major) during all of these. Also, playing Uno, a person was afk and let their turn timer run out every turn. Such a player should be automatically kicked after using the timer for few turns.
I’m undecided. The game looks neat, but half the games I won’t really play, and the other half I can get for free on mobile. I might get it if it goes under 20$
It looks like a fantastic and high-quality collection. I feel it's got that polished Nintendo-touch that I see in LABO and Wario Ware.
This is the kind of game that would be great on trips, however, not a lot of us are traveling at the moment.
Pre-ordered it from the eshop last month been playing it all day
Yes! Got it instead of The Outer Worlds. Also bought BioShock.
Played rounds of Mancala, Texas Holden, Darts, that 3 ball puzzle game, and the shoot the target game.
Had fun, but the biggest surprise is how fun Mancala is.
Physical copy arrived this morning!! Now gotta decide what to play first!
This will be an amazing game to play 2P with my Wife. She loves short simple mini-games and the presentation/tips are super helpful for new games I haven't played before!
It arrived already yesterday, so day -1 for me
I’m surprised so many people want this
Nope looks like a borefest
@cheesedude i think it is far more accessible that shogi.. and a 9x9 version would b ok for me as well.. AI has been improving dramatically the last few year.. if i can play an okay game on my phone, i should be able to on my switch...
@BenAV Yeah this is definitely the kind of game you want Always Available rather than needing to swap out the card, especially considering it's only 2.1gb. I love idly playing against AI in classic board games so this is a treasure trove for me
Planning on it but busy with Animal Crossing and Xenoblade so it can wait
Sure I'm gonna get this one. Not on launch day, but maybe next month or in August at most
Absolutely. After I finish my experiments. 👨🏻🔬🔬⚗️
Can’t wait to learn how to play mahjong!
I enjoyed the DS release. If it weren’t for me still playing through the third edition of Picross, I would purchase this game. For now, me needs are covered when I want some relaxing game time.
Does Spider solitaire have an option for the Spiderette variant?
A game with polished implementations of Gomoku and Chess, pretty interesting
I'll probably pick it up after learning to destroy the AI on the 4-in-a-row in the demo version
Damn right I’m getting it!
Got a physical copy at Walmart today for $33. That's a nice little savings and I'm really enjoying it. I've played Toy Baseball the most so far.
Yes I will!!
But first other games haha
Pre-purchased it last Monday! Makes a great time waster at work or something to play while watching something at home. It also doesn't hurt that I loved Clubhouse games for the DS too.
@ReikoMortis just out of curiosity, which games did you enjoy?
So so so good! Weve been playing for hours and been having an amazing time!! If you have family/friends/roommates to play with this is a fantastic pick up, not sure how well it would hold up single player even with the online component however. Great collection though, well worth the $32 i spent on it!!
I pre-purchased the game as soon as it was announced and do not regret that one bit. This game is AWESOME.
Loved it on the ds. I predownloaded it on both our switches, My girlfriend and I stayed up till 5:30 am playing through some of the games. She wasn’t sure she’d like it, but damn...time just flew by.
I put over 600+ hours into the DS original. At this time, I have already put in about 14 hours into the Switch version. The game is great, and well polished and definitely fun. Tho, I will say, having put a ton of time in the original, that this version doesn't have the same charm as the original. The music is different, the design is different, the Stamps/Challenges are gone, so, the rewards are gone (that I can tell so far, anyways). This game has more of a 'checklist' of achievements per game, like, beating on every difficulty, than it does 'challenges' like the original. So, not quite the same, definitely a different feel to the game. But, considering that it's made by a different developer, I get that it's different. But still fun. Will definitely put a lot of time into this version.
@Pac-Manc You can play on the touch screen in this scenario.
When you start the game it asks if you wanna use joy-con (for multiplayer) or touchscreen.
(Oddly enough you can only use pro controller in single player. Kind of an odd choice.)
Yeah I pre-ordered this when I discovered it was £4.00 cheaper on base.com than the usual places were, also it looks like you can use the joycons with this so can you use them like with the wii-motes on the bowling game? oh my copy of this game arrived on Friday, I must say Base.com are getting better with pre-orders too.
I have bought it yesterday (retail) - should get it on monday ... but - does bowling have online??? i hope so ... and billiard of course - i really do hope those 2 games have online gameplay!
