Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 18th)

This weekend I will continue to make my way through the first Nexomon game, I've been digging it so far. Also, I recently started a new AEW game on Total Extreme Warfare 2020, so I'm sure I'll book a couple of more shows on there as well. Other than that, I'm not sure if I'll play much else, just gonna try and spend as much time with the wife and kids, as possible.

@MSaturn my youngest son (he's five), enjoys playing the Paw Patrol games we have at home (Paw Patrol: On A Roll, Paw Patrol: Adventure City Calls, Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay, and Paw Patrol: Grand Prix), plus the wife has played through a couple of them and said they weren't too bad.

Honestly, as far as games aimed towards a younger audience goes, Outright Games seems like they put out a decent product (I don’t mind Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures, or Dragons: Dawn Of New Riders for the kids games they are). The only ones, I refuse to get from Outright Games, are the Peppa Pig games (I don't even let them watch the show), as I think Peppa is disrespectful, in the way she talks about her dad (making fun of his weight, Peppa being rude to him, etc).

This weekend will see a double dose of Pokémon games, as I'll be spending today, tackling some Hisuian Typhlosion raids in Pokémon Scarlet. Then tomorrow afternoon, will see both forms of Wooper popping up in Pokémon Go, as a part of November’s community day event. Oh yeah, both Castlevania Legends, as well as The Mysterious Murasame Castle recently came to Nintendo Switch Online, so I might check those out as well.

@somnambulance I love reading this post.

Honestly, I won't know until I beat Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but this feels like 2017 all over again. Breath of the Wild was my favorite game that year, until Odyssey released and it became my GOTY, it'll be interesting to see how things go in 2023, with both TOTK and Wonder.

My oldest kid is currently playing Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures, so I’ve been taking turns playing that with him. I also recently downloaded the demo for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, so this weekend seems about as good a time as any to try it out. Oh yeah, I’ll probably play a bit more of Detective Pikachu Returns, as I’ve been taking my time playing the game.

So earlier in the week, I picked up Detective Pikachu Returns, I'll continue to play that this weekend. Speaking of Pokémon, tomorrow sees Timburr getting the community day showcase, in Pokémon Go, so there is that as well. When I'm not busy with Pokémon, I'll try and squeeze in some time for Super Bomberman R 2.

It's the season of spookiness, so I started my weekend off with Altered Beast. I’m also planning on playing a Super Nintendo classic in The Addams Family in a bit. I might also play Pokémon Scarlet, just to do a couple of Hisuian Decidueye raids as well. I think I might try and squeeze in, a farewell round or two, of Pac-Man 99 while I'm at it.
