I started this weekend off, with the Mario vs. Donkey Kong Demo, I can’t wait to get my hands on the full game. I also plan on playing a few rounds of NHL 24 (on PS4), getting one step closer to the playoffs in season mode. When I’m not busy with that, I’ll be playing the first Pikmin game. As for tomorrow afternoon, Chansey will get the community day spotlight in Pokémon Go, so there’s also that.
I kicked this weekend off, by starting a new season in Rocket League earlier in the day, as it’s one of my all-time favourite games, just always a blast to play. In a bit, I plan on playing through Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, via the Chronicles collection. I also have the demo for Another Code: Recollection, I’m not sure if it’s something I’ll like, however, I figure I’ll check it out, before deciding if I want to buy the game.
I will continue to play through The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, I should have it wrapped up before the weekend comes to a close. Once I am done that, I will be firing up Golden Sun, and giving that a try, as it recently came to Nintendo Switch Online. I also have the demo for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown downloaded and waiting to be played while I’m at it.
When it comes to games, I buy new or used, as long as they work then it doesn't matter to me. I don't trade in games anymore (I've done it in the past and have come to regret it), even more so, if the next console is backward compatible, with the Switch games I already have.
As far as this weekend goes, Pokémon Scarlet continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, with the new epilogue that just released. I hear it's not that long, which is fine, cause once I'm done that, I'll finally start up The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, I have been wanting to play this one for a while now, so it was great to get it for Christmas. Maybe if I can find the time, I might also start playing The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf, while I'm at it.
@Ryu_Niiyama I just skimmed through the article (saw the tweet with it talking about a digital release), while on the bus, went back and edited my post.
I kicked this morning off with a few rounds of NBA Playgrounds 2 while waiting for the kids to get up. In what is tradition for me, a new year also means a new playthrough of Super Mario World, aka my all-time favourite video game, so I’ll continue playing through that as well. Of course, there is also Pokémon Go, as Rowlet will be featured in this month's Community Day event.
I like to think I get out plenty, especially between spring to fall time (not so much winter, but I live in the middle of Canada and it gets pretty cold out here). I'll usually go camping in the summer with the wife and kids, taking the kids for bike rides down the green way, etc.
It’s hard to believe that 2024 is just around the corner, man this year has flown by so fast, I’ll tell you that much. Anyway, I’ve been busy playing Hollow Knight (what with Silksong due to come out any month now), throughout the week. That’s not the only game I’ve been busy with though, as I have been playing 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim as well. Oh yeah and of course, I’ll play some Pokemon Scarlet, just to do some more legendary hunting.
This game has had my interest, since it was first announced, I really do need to get around to playing it. Honestly, I love the Pokémon franchise and playing similar games, Monster Crown didn't really connect with me, but the Nexomon games were a big hit with me (and Coromon seems like it would be fun to play as well).
I am officially on vacation for the rest of the year, so that means lots and lots of gaming. Having said that, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays.
Moving on to what I'll be playing this weekend, with Harvest Moon 64 recently added to Nintendo Switch Online, I've been playing that for the past several days. I'll also get around to finally starting up Jet Force Gemini, as well this weekend. I plan on playing Mario Party Superstars, with the wife later on tonight, while I’m at it.
I will be spending the weekend playing through the second part of the Pokémon Scarlet DLC. Beyond that, I will also play some Pokémon Go, for the year end community day(s) event. I’ll also try and squeeze in some gaming with my kids, most likely Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as it’s a great game that the whole family still enjoys playing.
I put about twenty minutes into it last night, although, I probably won't get a chance to properly dive into part 2 of the DLC, until the weekend gets here.
It has been a pretty busy week, however, I'm looking to wrap up Sonic Superstars this weekend. I also got Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, for my birthday (last weekend), so I've been playing that as well. Oh yeah, with the recent N64 games releasing on Nintendo Switch Online, I'll check out 1080 Snowboarding, while I'm at it.
It's my birthday this weekend, so I will be spending most of my time with friends and family. Having said that, I do plan on finally starting Sonic Superstars this weekend, although I’m not sure how much time I’ll actually get to play it.

Re: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For January And February 2024
The following games have my interest...

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Tetris Attack (GB)
I love Tetris Attack (the SNES version), it's one of the few games my mom would actually play, with me and my siblings growing up.
With that said, I gotta vote for the Japanese boxart this week.
