Mario/Luigi's new eyes are freaking me out though

Mario and Luigi's eyes are kinda crazy looking in the updated icons...

I'd like to get a decently sized MicroSD Express card, but they basically do not exist

I'm currently considering ideas that include keeping my joy-cons and passing the console itself onto someone else...who gets a Switch, but just needs to buy their own JoyCons for it

I get this idea basically for one purpose: buying a gift for someone, otherwise if I'm buying something physically, I want the game on the cart!

Only took about 2 hours last night of reloading lots of tabs...Walmart never let me through their queue and Target's site was so messed up, I couldn't put in my address or payment info and then it was sold out. Finally around 12:30am I got into the Best Buy queue, sat there until about 2am when it told me sold out. After picking my local store for pickup AGAIN, it put me into the queue and then I was able to order the system bundle for launch day pickup (or midnight?)

Hopefully this is a mistake/oversight and it'll get updated to reflect support for cloud saves..makes zero sense for a new launch game like DK to not support cloud save backups!

In MK8 you can also dodge a Blue Shell if you had just gotten hit moments before and are still in the middle of recovering.

I really hope Switch 1 games will run at 1080p in handheld on Switch 2 since they already have that rendering/output mode built in without any update...the Switch 2 would just have to run them in their docked mode.

Why can't they manage to match the Nintendo camera? You can get 1080p webcams off Amazon for $10 or less, maybe someone else will make a cute camera for the Switch 2, otherwise I may just buy something random and test it out instead

Still better than having to use a phone app. I wonder if there will be a mode for JUST video chatting with people, outside of a game that might then work at a higher framerate/larger videos of people, would be fun when trying to decide what to play, or for afterward.

They should license this out so 3rd party controllers can actually support HD Rumble this time around

Yay, button remapping and rewind...now I just hope they let us do SINGLE BUTTON REWIND, aka allow us to remap a button to be rewind, like L, which is rarely if ever used on N64 anyway

So does it emulate "docked" mode and render Switch 1 games at 1080p while in handheld mode on the Switch 2?!?

Can anyone answer this question: does Mario Kart still have assist settings for steering/acceleration?

This should be free and included with every Switch 2...like Wii Sports!

SOLD, this is adorable and will look way cuter sitting there on our TV stand compared to the official one.

Isn't there a top USB-C port on Switch 2 already, so you wouldn't have to flip it around like that...

So it SAYS to wishlist now, but it's not in the eshop yet...

They should launch it at two price points, an LCD and OLED at launch...otherwise, like I did with the first Switch, I'll just stick with my launch day console throughout the lifespan. But I would be willing to pay more initially for OLED if that was offered.

Shame I can't even wishlist this on the US eshop...

I would much rather they stick with the smaller Switch case sizes instead of using more-standard DVD/Bluray cases like everyone else... or maybe even smaller like the 3DS/DS cases, it's not like the games are any bigger inside

Nice, glad they're adding some more racers into the N64 roster...would be amazing if we ever got Diddy Kong Racing, but I'd take Beetle Adventure Racing or Automobili Lamborghini if they're looking for suggestions

Nope Did not hear anything about a waitlist, but I can't imagine I'd get into that either...I'm sure demand was incredibly high and they seemingly only want to do these demos for a couple days.

Mario Kart is the best game for introducing kids to video games, you can pick any character, any kart/bike combinations, and still enable the steering and acceleration assists independently for each player. Our daughter can play as Princess Peach or Cat Peach and doesn't get frustrated because she drove off a cliff over and over.

Mega Man on NES had spikes that insta-killed you too...why are they Hollow Knight spikes now?

I wish this would mean any updates for the stand alone Episode One Racer on Switch...it would be great if there was any way to adjust volume of sound effects vs. music :-

If it has a 1080p screen AND runs Switch 1 games in their docked resolution up to 1080p, that would be awesome. Also if it could output them at 4k, or play them smoother in some cases with it's extra power that'd be fun. Still very good news since I have built up quite the library on Switch and haven't finished nearly all of it!

I miss the fully-colored joycons, but maybe that'll be an option. Also still hope for an OLED option...

I'm sad that there are basically no ways to earn Platinum Coins anymore...JUST from the mobile games a little, but such a missed opportunity to not build in ways to earn rewards through the Switch or otherwise. I'd love to get these post-its, but my balance has just been shrinking with no way to earn them back at this point (other than gold coins of course)

Still wish they'd ever release older themes in the shop for any Maximus Cups we might have missed along the way...

I don't understand the shape of this, why does it bulge out so much for the joy-cons, and then swoop in where the screen would be...the joy-cons aren't going to stick up out of the top above the screen are they?

Wish it was Tengen Tetris for NES though with coop mode...

They should just stick the entire Switch Smash Bros soundtrack on here, that'd help cover A LOT of properties, and add fun versions of many tracks too

It's cuter than I was expecting since it appears to actually be stop-motion, but otherwise, wasted potential. Still loving this game though as I slowly play through it

Built in support for TATE mode would be amazing, could finally stop using the 3D printed grip that holds my joycons on each side of the vertical screen (though that works great for pinball games, and I'd imagine also DS games)

Know what this makes me want, a 1994 EA/Bullfrog Theme Park remaster/remake...loved that as a kid on our DOS PC

Why not just use the version without the real chants from v1.2??

As I said before, I hope they add as many tracks from Smash Bros as possible, even if that confuses what game things are from a little. Also would love to get Luigi's Mansion 2 and Zelda Link Between Worlds music too.

They should add everything from Smash Bros they possibly can, so many good tracks across all of Nintendo's history plus remixes and re-recordings.
