I'm really enjoying this game, and am up to the lava section, but have no idea what a "heart point" is, I guess because I've only been playing offline? Anyway, shows you the way games should be released, mostly perfect the first time.

I'm the oldest of three brothers, and while my younger brother has a Switch of his own, our middle brother does not, so I'd pass it onto him along with some of my physical games I've already beaten. But it would be great if current games transferred over and even if the carts still worked as I haven't necessarily played/beaten all of them! Would be EVEN nicer if it could output even old games at 4k or something with patches/updates

But can it turn on the Switch from sleep mode? Are the joysticks Hall-effect? Also, why hasn't Nintendo ever licensed out or allowed anyone else to make controllers with HDRumble?

I love WarioWare games, but am turned off by requirement to use joycons and motion controls, like WarioWare Move-It, especially since I don't actually own any other joycons cept the ones that are attached to my Switch all the time, so makes this less appealing as I can't play multiplayer either without buying more joycons

Since this is by the developers of Rime who NEVER updated the Switch version or added the ability to invert camera controls on both axis, I'll ask this important question: Can you invert camera controls for both Y and X axis in this title?

Wouldn't an N64 Classic that actually rendered games at 1080p or 4K blow this out of the water?

How does one pick between new Sonic and Mario games both coming out next week?! Or really, how does one find the time!

I'd totally play that if it was an unlockable or bonus for beating the game...

It doesn't need to, but if it did, I'd sell or pass my Switch down to my brothers or daughter for them to enjoy, while if it's not backwards compatible, I'd keep it around for all those games I bought and haven't gotten to yet... might also make me less likely to buy as much digitally next time around.

I LOVED Horizon Chase Turbo on Switch, and have been fully enjoying Horizon Chase 2 on Switch as well, despite a few lil hiccups, as mentioned here. I will say the developers are already aware of the button prompt bug as well as performance issues and have already promised patches are on the way. Considering how well they supported and kept updating Horizon Chase Turbo before this, I'm more than happy with my early purchase and I expect to only improve with time. The game is very fun and reminds me of early Need for Speed (1 and 2) titles and other 3D racers from the 90s, and with a fantastic soundtrack to boot!

Ah, now I can vote for Horizon Chase 2, which I've been enjoying on my commutes this week!

Hardly a fair comparison, esp with how good it looks on the native 3DS system in 3D. I loved this game, but again don't feel the need to revisit when I never beat the 3rd yet

No mention of Horizon Chase 2, which also launched this week and was a day-1 buy for me after enjoying Horizon Chase Turbo. Also, what about F-Zero 99?!

There are so many games on my list to buy right now, but this one is a day-one instabuy after how much fun I had playing through the first game.

@AG_Awesome I think this is why I never kept playing too, hopefully for Switch they have better camera/control options to allow for inverting BOTH axis if that's how we roll

Developers got differently-colored Gamecubes? That's what I'm learning from this...

Wait, how does it work with Switch AND Steam Deck? Switch has USB-C on the bottom, Steam Deck's is on the top...but in both cases, the fans/vents are on the top so you can't just put one in upside-down.

Is it just me or are the remastered cutscenes kinda terrible looking and barely animated?

So sad, an end of an era as I really cannot imagine these characters with any other voice! I hope he recorded for Wonder so we get one last game with him...

I used to have a MegaJoy all-in-one-controller-emulator that hooked up to the TV and had various ROM hacks among all the NES roms, one of which started you here and it always confused us to no end.

That the physics are wrong makes the SNES versions all terrible when compared to NES, because changes in music and art are fine if the gameplay remains the same...which it does not

Niiice, if at least they sell the ROM I could play it on my Bittboy or something...but hopefully it comes to Switch in some form

Seemingly anyone who already owns the original version on Switch will somehow get this version for free, but they haven't announced how that works yet...either way, excited!

It's absurd that signing a 10-year agreement should be enough to justify the merger when they could just start being anti-competitive after 10 years. I think we've all seen what happens when a gaming company gets too big ::cough:: EA ::cough::

How could they accept an 10-year deal when obviously they'll still own the company in 10 years and THEN can just start being jerks and making everything exclusive anyway?

At least it sounds like the games run NATIVELY and won't need an internet connection to stream the gameplay...right?

I could go for a new top-down Zelda, even using the amazing Link's Awakening engine...

This happens in a few games, makes me think the dev kits are clocked higher than our retail units, so when testing they don't see any of the issues until after release and then have to go back and patch up performance. Perhaps Nintendo can just push out a performance patch for the OS so that games that need it can trigger the higher clock speed?

I might be the only person who preordered a Switch and BOTW and now am feeling kinda uninterested in this sequel...wake me when there's a new 2D Zelda, because the Link's Awakening remake and Link Between Worlds have been my last two favorite Zelda titles...

I'm voting for the NA cover since it better-represents the art style of this game, while the other is more hinting that they wished they could have done Yarn/Crafted-style games sooner.

Glad they're remembering the great Figment, who was cut from his own ride for a little while there before returning when they redid it a 3rd time. Now I hope they bring back the Imagination song too!

That's fine, console games should be their priority, but it's a shame since Mario Run is basically the best mobile game Nintendo managed to release.

It's a fun idea, but the screens still need to be WAY DENSER before the image will look as good as just a normal 1080p TV sitting in front of you...

Not having coop in the main game is a deal-breaker, but also, why not offer 4 characters and have Batgirl too? Then they'd have two men and two women as playable characters! If they fix performance and added Batgirl I might consider it since our daughter is very into Batgirl...

Soul Calibur 2 on Gamecube is my favorite of the series, and not just because you could be Link...though that helped!

Sold, I just wish games like this were already listed on the eshop so I could wishlist them and then get notified later when they finally come out...
