So sad, it's such a fun idea, I kind of hope they just release it in a larger package with other Mario games perhaps, or in some form rather than it just vanishing entirely... happy MAR10...
Sega should just release the original Crazy Taxi on Switch, take the PC or Xbox version and port it over, I'd buy that in a heartbeat, regardless of the soundtrack
@kirbygirl it's not bad, really, perhaps updates have fixed the shadow casting a little, though sure, it takes some getting used to, and so you may have to fuss with it before making your next jump, but the game isn't timed, so no rush! Visual design is fantastic and so far it's a fun take on a Limbo-like game, esp if cheaper
It lets you drive a DeLorean, sign me up! I spent so long unlocking that in Horizon Chase Turbo Will hope it runs as well and maybe isn't as foggy as the gameplay video posted above
My first gamecube was black, though I had a purple wired controller, but then that was stolen out of my dorm on move-out day, so I picked up a Platinum Silver one using left over flex money on my university ID in the fall and it's still going strong!
Feel like this method for creating a trailer makes no sense, the game looked better on N64 than this trailer shows, and if you actually rendered the 3DS version in HD, it'd be much closer to how it would appear on Switch if ever. This guy is doing a MUCH better job showing off OOT3D running at HD resolution, and with HD textures: https://youtu.be/yB36JWnBvak
@Bunkerneath at least the Bud Light console was also a projector, and really, it's a computer inside. Also beer seems more like what you'd have WHILE playing video games, vs fried chicken, but maybe that's just me
A Final Unity is really the best Star Trek game I've ever played...would LOVE an HD remaster of that, using all the existing audio files but I guess re-rendering all the cutscenes and updating the graphics, which might be impossible or at least as much work as the Lucasarts adventure remasters.
I'd be way more into this if it allowed for split-screen multiplayer for 2 or even 4 people on one console, especially if then you could go online with them. If I cannot play with my wife, or bring her online with me, why bother?
If it allowed for downloading content to watch offline, it'd be A LOT more attractive...if I'm sitting at home, connected to the TV, i'll use my Chromecast with Google TV over this always
Hopefully sales are good enough for maybe a full HD remaster of Sam and Max Hit The Road like they did for Monkey Island 1, 2, Grim Fandango, and Full Throttle
I agree with this, I'm all for a more-linear racing game where I pick races and race them rather than having to consult a map, ask for directions, and hope I find where to start a race, and then get lost along the way because the game in no way tells me where to go during the race ::cough::Burnout Paradise::cough::
They should sell other karts, so you could get Yoshi or Peach, etc...maybe even have some way to buy a second kart to play split screen multiplayer on ONE console...
FINALLY, all games need proper button mapping or camera inversion options to allow for inverting BOTH X/Y axis independently, I'm so tired of games that don't bother. Though equally, it's frustrating when a game doesn't have good sound settings, like Star Wars Racer where you cannot adjust the sound fx volume vs. music volume
Lately 100% docked, but back when I commuted on the subway, it was more split, but certainly the main selling point is the dual nature of the console, that it is great on the go AND in the living room.
Hmm, I enjoyed playing this one on WiiU back when that was the one and final EA release on WiiU before they abandoned the platform. I'd imagine this is a pretty straight port, of a decent game that I actually prefer over Burnout Paradise since at least it gives you an arrow and path to follow for each race instead of letting you just get lost like in Paradise. Still not sure about wanting to play a 10-year-old racer when they should instead just bring us the new NFS...
Considering it's literally 3 old game ROMs repackaged in an emulator that can run properly in 16:9 1080p (or just 720p for Mario 64) and then they want to charge $60 again, no thanks. It being a weird time-limited thing is also annoying and Disney-like of them.
Very excited for this, LOVED Horizon Chase Turbo and been enjoying their Playground events after having finished the World Tour with all Gold cups. Preordered after your positive review and hoping to jump in later
Now that there's Tetris 99 on here I'm not sure I care, I certainly barely play the original, and if so, it's to play Tetris vs. Tetris with my wife, never really got into the Puyo aspect as much

Too cute, hopefully there's a way to run eventually...
Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Release A New Switch Model This Year With "Bigger" Samsung OLED Display
Yawn, I really don't want a bigger Switch...would rather it be basically the same EXACT size, but 1080p and still using the same joy-cons...
Re: Ahead Of Nintendo's "Thanos Snap", Super Mario Bros. 35 Is Getting Another Special Event
Such a fun idea and way to play Mario, I don't get why it's going away entirely, especially if people are still playing and enjoying it
Re: Wind Peaks Is A 'Where's Wally?' Style Game Headed To Switch Next Week
Also reminds me of Hidden Through Time
Re: Review: Capcom Arcade Stadium - A Rich Tour Through The Coin-Op History Of A True Legend
Wish they'd match games already owned through other collections like all the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and Beat Em Up Bundle
Re: Review: Taxi Chaos - A Crazy Taxi Spiritual Successor That Fails To Go The Extra Mile

So about that online...is there cross-play with other versions of this re-release?
Re: Switch Owners "Most Likely" To Own A Rival Console, 2020 Study Shows
Nope, I mean, I have a PC, but my only real gaming console right now is the Switch...as the WiiU and Xbox 360 that won't boot don't really count

Re: Review: Among Us - The Lockdown Hit Finally Comes To Switch
I wish it had splitscreen for local play on ONE console, or even to bring someone online with me for a game
Re: Redout: Space Assault, Arcade Shooter Prequel To Redout, Blasts To Switch In January
Looks more fun than Starlink anyway, and might scratch that Star Fox itch better

Re: Random: The NSO Icon On The Switch Home Menu Is Driving Some Users Crazy
It really should be on a grey circle background like all the other icons, and then just make the Switch logo in red instead!
Re: Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics Version 1.1.3 Is Now Available, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Seen this on sale physically, but really want it digitally... but with so many other games on sale it'll sit on my wishlist for now

Curious what the resolution is on that screen, the footage in the Nintendo Direct looked funny like it was being scaled oddly...
