Wait, this is possible, that's awesome! Why doesn't Mario Kart or any other game do this? In fact, why can't you even msg ppl on the Switch itself in the least besides seeing when they're online?
Only way I'd play this game again on Switch is if they added a way to show the route above my head with an arrow or path so I know where in the world to go in each race.
Oh nice, I missed this on 3DS, though now I am thinking of charging it up and trying it out...or waiting for Switch, if only there was cross-buy, I'd buy it on 3DS today knowing I'd get to also play on Switch next month.
Tengen Tetris is superior mostly for the coop mode that has rarely ever appeared in any future Tetris versions other than the boxed retail copy of Tetris Party on Wii
No cloud saves is already a deal-breaker imo, but they must allow you to transfer it to another system...maybe it's okay I gave up Animal Crossing games for New Years many years back after being addicted to the DS version.
As many people have mentioned, anyone who just plays more matches will accumulate more points even if they're maybe not doing as well as someone who can't play ALL weekend, but did place well in the games they played in. I guess it would almost be more fair to set a point goal and then just randomly pick 999 players from those who reach that point level.
@XiaoShao That would be amazing, but first you'd have to resurrect Spectrum HoloByte, or hope Hasbro kept anything, and get the license. At least we have Star Trek pinball in Pinball Arcade (and Stern)
oh man, A Final Unity was one of my favorite Star Trek games as a kid, especially because it managed to be as fun as the 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites games were, but in the Next Generation setting, with CGI cutscenes and voice acting from the entire cast. It plays like you're in control of an episode of TNG, which is exactly how Star Trek games should be. Would be amazing if they could somehow re-release it with improved visuals, or even just modern compatibility, but sadly not on any Nintendo system.
I enjoy the SPEED of the Switch's interface, and at least the all games list can be alphabetized, that's all I need. But it would be nice if we could organize into folders on the home screen, and also access all games from the start rather than the end of the most-recent list.
If they released 1 and 2 as a package or even digitally I'd buy them in a second...as it is, I supported this release and will gift it to my friend's son because Monkey Ball
This was the perfect thing to play with my brothers over thanksgiving break, as they had never played the game before, so it was a good introduction and meant we could all beat the AIs
Aww, why didn't he let the campaign play out, and maybe promote it more throughout the window? I was going to fund it, but had just saved it to come back to later because I was busy the day I first read about it...
N64 and/or Gamecube games next, but in a twist, running internally at 1080p 60fps so they all look much better not unlike the recent Virtua Racing re-release or how PCs can play in Dolphin emulator.
@Kalmaro Not really, patch data is much smaller than the full game, so that's all that will reside on your system after the update. And the entire playable game is still on the cart, so you can play it on multiple systems, lend it to a friend or sell it once you're done, unlike a digital copy.
However, in reading other people's comments, if there really is no option to invert both X and Y axis I might have to wait and not play this until there is. That is absurd, especially for Nintendo who usually has those options in basically every other game, Zelda, Captain Toad, etc. Only the terrible developers of Rime refused to ever patch an inverted Y axis patch in
Maybe if this was a $10 digital collection, or included the superior Capcom SNES Aladdin I'd bite, but for now I'll wait for a sale or will just play these on PC where I have GOG copies of both plus Jungle Book, but no one cares about that one
Niiice, these will be the first Williams tables I'm re-buying on Switch as I have every table inside Pinball Arcade on my PC anyway, but Monster Bash is the best.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on WiiU was only about 13GB, so if we assume Rogue is similar, they could both fit onto a Switch cart, so I really hope this is correct because no way I'm ever buying the physical edition of a game if the game is not on the cart inside
Ugh, I refuse to buy a physical copy of a game that does not even contain the actual game on the cart! The box art looks different for the US, at least right now on Amazon, so I guess we'll have to see, but certainly not preordering until I know for sure.
Yeah, also you can't even play it offline, same with other Nintendo smartphone games, which is absurd for single player affairs. Until they fix that, allow bluetooth headphones to be paired, and stop with all the nonsense microtransactions, I'll stick with Switch games.
So when are they going to remove the loot boxes and microtransactions, make a paid pro version, and allow it work OFFLINE? Oh, never? Fine, I'll just play Mario Kart 8 DX on my Switch and wait for an actual sequel
This game is beautiful and adorable, I have not had any issues with the performance, I mean if the entire game ran at 30fps we'd never see a dip and people would be happy, but then some might complain it's not 60fps. I'll take this where it's 60fps most of the time, especially when it matters, and just when traveling between areas it dips as it loads multiple tiles at once. Remember, on the original you'd only see a single screen at a time, now you see into the distance and neighboring areas as you walk around.
And then how many immediately uninstalled it since it's trash? I TRIED to install it, and after reaching 100% downloaded, the Play Store crashed and didn't finish installing. Then I read more about the loot boxes and microtransactions and decided better to stick to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
They really need to NOT require a persistent internet connection to play their games. That is why I never bought Mario Run, and that is why I won't even bother downloading this piece of loot-box garbage. IAP and monitizations is what's wrong with smartphone gaming today, and it's sad Nintendo is one of the worst offenders now.
Glad they are supporting the game with an update to add inverted controls. I'm still upset with the Rime developers for refusing to add inverted camera controls
Pfft, stop spreading rumors of a Switch Pro, I doubt they ever had plans for such a thing, that's what the longer battery life updated Switch is I'm sure, and this is the only actually new Switch coming.
Nice, I hope it uses the good Kirby theme music. Also hope someday they add a random themes option so I can cycle through them the way the 3DS allowed.

Yes, but now I wish I had waited until they patched in a setting to allow inverting the Y-Axis :-
