I'll have to try it out. Though like RupeeClock mentioned, PoGoHub and Leekduck are already pretty well established in my habits. But glad to see another option!
@Burning_Spear and the people who manufacture steak knives for eating food are enabling murderers to stab. Emulators are a tool, and every tool has the opprotunity for misuse.
@ShadLink There's a lot of people I want to argue with in this thread but it's your lucky day! I have a drive full of switch games, and every single one of those games I have bought. Most of them are ones that I even dumped myself. My emulator is primarily used to run my games with mods. And on the topic of not being able to pirate retro games, take your head out of the sand and look up how expensive it is to get even just one game. the older pokemon games regularly cost more than the premium editions of modern AAA games. Many gamecube games cost more than a few days worth of food. Many retro games are only sold through the third-hand market and there is no way to purchase it while supporting the original developers, and it would be pretty sad if the only people who were able to experience Pokemon XD were people with the disposable income to buy a gamecube and multi-hundred dollar disk.
Originally played through the game on switch 1 and double dipped on steam, made me realize the input delay was actually pretty bad on switch 1. Might give the switch 2 edition a go to see how much better it is, especially considering it's free to me and I won't say no to playing through this game again haha
@canaryfarmer @Koda1000
I don't think switch supports these resolutions. These patch notes seemed to be copied from the steam page. But if i can be proven wrong, that would be very cool!
@Mjplaysgames every year edition of Just Dance is full of different new songs, the subscription allows you to play songs from previous games at an additional cost
Not gonna lie, after i bought 2020 edition i paid for the subscription for a year or two. It was great fun but then they removed the ability to pay EXTRA money on top of my premium game and locked it behind ANOTHER premium game. Maybe if it was a subscription on a free-to-play game I would still play, but the business model is just too many layers of scum deep for me to support. Especially considiering Ubisoft's recent actions...
I'm not really interested in warriors games outside of Hyrule Warriors (the gameplay is fun, but definitely gets repetitive), but after playing Age of Imprisonment at 60fps I don't think ill ever be able to go back to 30 in this style of game...
Which is unfortunate, as I bought the DLC to Age of Calamity and never got around to playing it...
@Shade_Koopa disagree. i use my switch for crunchyroll all the time, its just the most convenient option to get it on my tv. I use switch youtube even more. I wish i could have all my streaming apps on my switch. Maybe even 4k compatible apps on switch 2?
I got it, don't see myself using the mouse mode and playing local wireless with my sister on switch 1 was crashing for her after a bit
Once the bugs are fixed it'll be fine but honestly i would have been better off not upgrading for now considering my experience does not benefit from the upgrades
not my list, but mario odyssey at #4 is actually ridiculous. It was not as good as so many of the games under it in my opinion, still a top 10-20. but the open world zeldas at the top? Hard to disagree without your rose colored glasses on.
now i'm regretting buying it on steam, sounds awesome! though i would rather lower resolution than dropping fps in splitscreen. 4p mk world splitscreen is unplayable to me
Just got my physical copy from ebay for $50 but this is one I plan on selling when I'm done with it anyway. It's on the back burner till I finish silksong and ZA though 😂
First impressions are that it runs decently well for a slim hybrid console but definitely a little comparatively choppy coming from gaming mostly on my PC. Looking forward to the open world part as it's mostly been on rails so far
8/10 for me so far I love the combat and the return of mega evolution, and I'm a huge fan of the Kalos region already so I might be a bit biased. But the renowned flat buildings, tiny wild zones, and only one music track for Lumiose and the wild zones respectively are getting a bit old, and I'm only 7 hours in... not distracting enough to stop me from having a good time but i really do expect more from a game I've already spent $70 on and with a $30 DLC....
every time i hear about this game, I wonder why I haven't bought it yet. they are doing so well in supporting their game at such a low price with free updates. I don't even know if I'll like the gameplay, i just want to buy it to support awesome devs like this!
edit: looking at the steam page rn, looks like some dlc is paid. but i want to play as an among us crewmate so thats another reason to support them lol
@iLikeUrAttitude what do you mean? the port being delayed because it was horribly optimized is a bad thing? would you rather pay full price for a bug-riddled experience? This is honestly a great move on the developers part considering how poorly the game is running on far more powerful platforms, giving time to optimize the game elsewhere before releasing it on a less powerful platform.
@SpaceboyScreams Excuse me but 3DS MOD??? Link me to some more info?
On topic, silksong so far is a masterclass of a game. Only a couple hours into act 2 and loving the game. My friend who just got the true ending says best game ever. My only complaint is the money economy being super tight so far. I've heard it gets better and I've found some enemies that drop a significant amount in the area I just found though.
So excited to see where they take it. Original hollow knight is one of if not my favorite game I've ever beaten so expectations are very high for the endings here!
It was really good and showed a lot of games I am excited for, but most of those games are already announced. Looking forward to my first playthrough of galaxy 2 on switch 2 though!
I skipped the S/V DLC for being way too expensive and releasing on top of an already broken game. I have very high hopes for ZA (Kalos was my fav game!) so if the base game is good, I will definitely be buying this.
Which I hate. Announcing paid DLC before a game comes out is such a scummy move, but I know I'm going to love this game enough to buy it...
@WiltonRoots Personally, I love super mario galaxy. I've never played the second one (thats about to change!!) and I've heard its better than 1. The soundtrack is amazing and I am a big fan of the gameplay structure and art style
I am enjoying the game at the difficulty it is at so very much. The two bosses they are nerfing in the next patch were two of the most fun fights so far imo (i think im at the end of act 1?)
I may have invested a hundred hours into the first game and had a headstart, but the gameplay difficulty so far is perfect to keep me engaged without blowing through every fight
what annoys me is every bench and fast travel station costing rosaries and enemies not dropping enough to keep up. I haven't had enough money to buy anything but benches, stations, and maps and I haven't even died without my cocoon and lost my rosaries once!
On steam, I managed to buy it only 6 minutes after launch. Downloaded very fast, played it for about an hour. So worth the wait, very excited to see where the game goes from here. Unfortunately, I have a friend who is still wrestling the steam store...
never played a sonic racing game until this network test (I played on my pc) but wow this game is looking to be fantastic. I've said it on this website a few times, but I'm here for the Miku vs Steve racing game, but unironically I really enjoyed my time with the network test (maybe even more than I enjoyed MKW?) and I'll definitely pick this up at some point.
I have a fantastic PC that could run this game much better than the switch 2 at a cheaper buying price but I'm honestly tempted to buy it on my switch 2 anyway to support the physical medium they sell it on. Super cool that they stand strong in a market of key cards
@Friendly I did the first 4 pantheons but never finished the fifth one where you fight them all in a row... Such a grind but I really do want to win it someday
This is beyond cool. Definitely going to play some more of this. Hopefully I can add more storage to my spaceship with this, my biggest problem with the game is that I have to make a base to store my things that I usually need on my person
