I'm surprised it's hitting 1080 at all considering its rocky launch on other platforms.

I've tried a couple times to get into monster hunter but couldn't bring myself to enjoy it, but I'm very interested to see a digital foundry video on this game

Man, all these third party games keep getting delayed. The only delayed one I am really interested in is 007 but I hope these get less frequent as the hardware matures

my dream was always that they port the character skins and maps to mk8d (or even a new game on the same engine) so we get the best of both worlds... an actually good racing game and preservation of the content.

That's crazy. I came to my shopping center last night to check and there wasn't a line at target or best buy. Still in line and from what I hear our target is cleared out and the line is huge behind me now.

Currently sitting in line at my local best buy, apparently I live in the right town for Pokemon as I got here 3 hours early and only 3 people were lined up. Two hours to go and is still pretty short!

I know I'm very lucky as my uncle lives in a bigger city where there was a significant line last night...

@Misima do you want to know the reason I really think it's better? Because I have played hundreds of hours of Fortnite and overwatch on switch 1, and hundreds on my PC. Going from switch 1 to pc on these games was like wearing glasses for the first time ever. And even moving from <100 to 240 when I upgraded my PC felt huge. Believe me, its not just a "marketing tactic"

Why do you think the switch 2 upgrades are popular products? Because people notice how much smoother it is to rotate your camera in 60 fps. That doesn't mean I could pick up a controller and tell you the difference in 90 and 100 fps, I can't do that. But what does matter to the gaming experience is doubling 30 fps into 60 fps before the diminishing returns start to make the increase a bit more redundant.

If you REALLY think a video game would be fun at 12 fps like a cartoon, I would love to see you try...

@Misima if you think 30 and 60 fps are the same I genuinely think you've never played a video game. And if you think 24 fps movies are the same as a 30fps game... I REALLY think you've never played a video game.

Now do you always need 60 fps? No, I don't think so. I loved botw/totk even though their frame pacing was not great and sometimes didn't even hit 30. But for a game with lots of action and more precise inputs than Zelda, 60 fps is a big selling point that I unfortunately doubt the switch 2 will be able to hold in this game (prove me wrong blizzard!!!)

@imopthefloors I've also been playing a lot of juno lately, she's fun!

I played with this new hero during the trial. I really like his mechanics, we'll see what changes for the full release.

You're talking about an RCM jig, to enable recovery mode on v1 switches.

Anyway, a bit unfortunate that the dumper is banned. I use my modchipped switch OLED to dump my own games for emulators and that would be a great option for people who want to keep their switch vanilla

I got salty I missed it yesterday so I went on an ebay rampage messaging and reporting resellers and one of them pointed me to Amazon where I was able to preorder it and also took down his listing when I showed him ebay's policy. Not defending the resellers ofc but pretty cool guy

Bummer, I used this until pretty recently when I bought a second-hand Xbox one for blu-ray and streaming.

I must say, it does work a little better on the Xbox, as well as YouTube 😂

@MS7000 without hacking, yes. There are some alternatives you can use homebrew for, but this does mean pokemon are locked to the 3ds and cannot be transferred to switch.

If the joycon are available separately, I will definitely be grabbing a pair. I can't be bothered to replace my whole console.

I'm still thinking about nabbing a procon, I just spent a bunch of money modding a dualsense and it's serving me well with an adapter to use on my switch 2

My interest in this port was zero until I learned it was on cart. If I ever get around to playing this game, it'll be on the cartridge instead of my PC lol. I love when games are on cart

I like the trend of games like this and diablo 2 resurrected having fresh graphics on the old engine. It's super technically interesting (even if I haven't been able to get into diablo 2 yet...)

I love uniqlo shirts. I got a lot of the previous pokemon tcg collection on clearance for 15$ a shirt so I've been patiently waiting for the new pokemon collection and now this collection to get cheap too.

I wish I could get that shell design on the kids range though...

Of course. I waited a bit for this to drop in switch 2 but I finally caved last month and bought it on PC. I really love grinding this game so I'll probably end up double-dipping so I don't have to be posted up at my desk lol. I suppose I could wait for a discount too.

The story really got good in the second expansion too. Blizzard makes some really impressive cgi cutscenes!

There's seriously no way you put touchscreen and ai in the same category, right? One is a fun gimmick that spawned a ton of fun games on the DS/3ds and the other is a soul-sucking corporate slop thievery machine. How in the world do you get the idea touchscreens are being shoved down your throat??

I have one of these games on PC from an epic store giveaway. Mouse mode might have convinced me to throw this on my wishlist but maybe I'll just revisit it on PC...

Awesome. Love the anime so much, excited to see this get a steel book edition (which better mean it's a full-fledged physical release). This may end up being the first collectors edition game I ever buy... (Unless you count the pokemon sword/shield steelbook in the same category)

I've got most of what I want from this list (most importantly the deku tree, it's pricey but it's gorgeous, have mine in the BotW configuration as a newgen Zelda fan lol)

Might miss not having a couple more of the Mario kart ones though...

Base tier NSO for 20$ a year is a fantastic deal. The expansion is a bit too expensive for me since I don't really care too much about the retro games. I'm just glad that I have Gameboy Tetris, that's all I need lol.

If they had all the upgrade packs on the expansion, I'd probably still have it...

A lot of DS/3DS emulators handle two screens by having an option to make one screen larger and the second screen smaller in the corner. You could simulate touch with a pointer controlled by gyro or mouse mode. You don't need a second screen for emulation, so I hope Nintendo does this eventually. I'd even re-sub to NSO expansion pass if they did lol

I managed to finish the entire chapter before NL reported on its release lol.
I loved it, still need to win against the secret boss which is where the freezing issue is.

The gameplay gimmick of chapter 5 is easily Toby's best work yet.

I don't want nudity in my games, but the double standard of having Cyberpunk (option to disable nudity and sex scenes) and all the ai hentai games on the eShop is astonishing. What's up with that, Nintendo?
EDIT: Since it's a regional thing and they just used their most censored build, do porn games just not release in certain regions and games like cyberpunk just have no-nudity builds for those regions?

I never supported the cloud versions even though I was interested in playing these games so I am elated that there are proper local versions on switch 2 now.

All I ask, truly ALL I ask... is Diablo 4 for switch 2. I've been playing the hell (haha get it?) out of it on my switch OLED for a week or two and I'm ready to experience the newest installment
