My high school had a MK8D team, we even won a state championship! Glad to see there's more opportunities opening up for others to have the same experience I did.

1080p60 is pretty impressive, I'm glad switch 2 is getting put to use.

And honestly, apex is a pretty fun battle royale. Not sure I'll play it away from my PC enough to warrant 32gb tho

Edit: yeah no shot I'm playing it on switch 2, 78 gigs and I have no SD card 😭

Played this with my sister last night, and yes, exactly what it says on the tin. Will definitely get my 7$ out of this, super fun and simple game making the most of the switch 2's new feature. Would recommend!

How on earth are you already testing this on a modded two? Did I miss something?

Also, it would take a lot of work? It takes up precious programming time for a game they've already moved on from, they're probably working on something new. Just because a modder can do it doesn't mean that it was easy, or they probably would already released it.

Not saying it would be super cool to have a switch 2 version though. Haven't played the game yet but heard great things about it

My pro 2 has serious disconnection issues with both my s1 and s2. Which sucks because I bought it for my switch. Still works fine on my PC for the rare game I play with controller on PC...

@Jumwa someone may have already replied to you, but if you factory reset a banned switch 2, you can no longer connect to the internet to set it up, bricking the system… so yes, this can brick a system

Deltarune is a fantastic mix of funny, serious, and the battles with their bullet hell elements are executed very well.

I played Super Mario 3D World docked and had some pretty noticeable frame drops in the first few levels (3 person split screen)… just my personal experience. Probably was running in 4k though bc my system is set to auto

I love having the ability to play these games but the drip feed is infuriating. I have played f-zero gx for a little bit and enjoyed it, so looking forward to trying this game and series for the first time as well.

@Polvasti it allows the case to be thicker while keeping the functionality of the og dock.

My dock has been scratching my screen so I have decided not to cancel my preorder for this case despite the other issues. If I don’t put my switch in the dock, I can save the screen a little longer 😅

I love undertale, and honestly comparing deltarune to undertale is a disservice. This game stands on its own as something very special, and I’m so excited to see what Toby has in store next year for the last 3 chapters.

My guess is that since the terrain is mutable, it is not taking up space in the game because it would have to be generated on system rather than completely modeled in storage… if that makes sense?

But that’s just a theory…

I’m too young to have lived in the age of cassettes, but I bought the soundtrack to Celeste on cassette and play it in my parents old Walkman, it’s a very satisfying form of physical media and I wish more stuff was still released on them.

That said, that’s a super cool gimmick for a cassette player. Kinda jealous 😂

My switch 2 comes in and out of the dock as I’ve pretty much only played handheld, and they aren’t noticeable without light, but there are a ton of little scratches all over the screen… even with a (supposedly) glass screen protector!!

I ordered a dbrand killswitch which comes with a dock extension that doesn’t cover the screen but I have to put up with the official dock shredding my screen for a while until it gets here :/

I love how mechanical the driving became and I’m so excited to pick it all up. The soundtrack and visuals are great, I love how characters have skins, knockout tour is super fun

Only time I ever used the lan mode in mk8d was with my high schools esport league. We won the state championship game in a lan lobby! Still in disbelief we even have a program like that, but that lan game was exhilarating 😂

I had the oled s1, and the new lcd blew my socks off. Haven’t noticed any issues with it either. Just having higher fps and res in handheld is enough to make it way better, and the colors at max brightness are more than sufficient to keep me happy lol

I got a jsaux case on Amazon and a glass screen protector (idk the company) for 27$ and my case has a firm shell, room for a ton more cards, far more wiggle room for wrist straps and other small accs, and a carrying strap on the outside. Heck, if I buy a grip case (which I will, I find myself playing handheld much more than docked), it will fit too. Nintendos is so much more expensive and for less capabilities and a lesser screen protector…

Double dipped as soon as I saw a switch 2 version, and it was on sale too! My cloud save got loaded fine, just too busy with Mario kart and DELTARUNE to give this a spin lol. The bit I’ve played is very impressive though!

@mr12calvin if you played 8dx and booster pass, you spent 85, yet nobody complains about that? If I had to buy an 80$ game (which sucks but mine was only 50$ with the bundle lol) this would be the one, I’ll likely be consistently playing it until switch 3 and so far I am absolutely loving everything about it, it feels so smooth to play and the visuals and soundtrack are fantastic

But with games running at 1080p60 and a big, bright screen I’m honestly impressed it goes over 2 hours at all lol, kinda conflicted

Not sure I’ll play it enough to invest in new fighters but I played a few games against my cousin today and we had a blast lol

Still have my white joycon with my switch oled, they're recently starting to show grime and scuffs but no drift or bad buttons yet. If mine give out, I'll probably mod these or some old busted ones a friend gave to me rather than buy new ones with switch 2 around the corner though
