Re: Review: Kirby Air Riders (Switch 2) - Incredibly Chaotic, But Satisfyingly Deep & Rewarding Racing

Pre-ordered and ready to go!

PS—Is a ‘learning curve’ really a con? This has been a part of video games since Space Invaders, Pac Man, etc. Dog forbid that one has to practice to get better at the game… Meh…Strange comment…
For me, challenge and learning curves just pull me deeper into the game, especially when it comes to racing / battling games like this. Sorry guy, but it’s a pro!

Re: Zelda: A Link To The Past And Chrono Trigger Are "Ripe For Remakes", Says Analytics Firm

Ocarina of Time Remaster would be awesome, I’d buy that in a heartbeat. Link to the Past is PERFECTION and should be left alone.

Chrono Trigger would look beautiful in the HD-2D treatment. The gameplay is pretty simplistic by today’s standards, though, and I think would benefit from some modernization. I’d love to see it with a FF7Remake-style action/turn-based hybrid combat system.

Re: Review: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment (Switch 2) - A Stunning Slice Of Musou, Worthy Of The Zelda Canon

Hey @PJOReilly, thanks for the great review free of spoilers. Probably a stupid question, but would you recommend finishing Tears of the Kingdom before playing this? I’m like halfway-ish (took a break for Bananza). Does Inprisonment give anything major away in Tears or require finishing Tears to fully understand, or is it just complimentary and helps to flesh out the backstory? Thanks!

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment?

I have it preordered, but I may cancel. Not because I don’t want to play it, but because I have bought too many games in the last few months (September was nuts).

I’ve never played a musou game before, except for the Calamity demo on Switch 2, which I enjoyed. Age of Imprisonment looks gorgeous, and like it could be some good, relatively mindless fun for winding down on weekday evenings…

Re: Three More Kirby Air Riders amiibo Have Been Announced

Fingers crosser they drop in price on Amazon and/or Gamestop. I caved and bought Yunobo at launch for $30, and then ended up getting the remaining TotK Amiibo for only $16 each after they sat on shelves for months. No way these things sell well at $50 each…

Re: "OpenAI Is Trying To Get Sued" - Nintendo IP Floods Sora 2 Video Generation App

The quality of those videos is pretty impressive, which is… not good for actual artists and people who are employed in the industry. And those were just cartoons, affecting the entertainment industry. When generative AI can make fully realistic video, indiscernible from reality—it’s pretty close this already, right?—we are done. Heading towards a very dark future here…
