This really will be a game-changer—a console controller that doubles as a mouse; ingenious! People saying that Switch 2 is bringing nothing new to the table will be eating those words once this thing releases.

Assuming the price model for their online services stays the same for 2, I will 100% buy this. Been wanting to play it since release, but I no longer subscribe to PlayStation’s vastly overpriced online service. So… cool!

Did it spoil the excitement of the reveal for me? Yeah, it kind of did. Will it “damage” my chances of buying the new system? Abso—f***ing—lutely not! I am 100% ready to buy. And there are still lots of questions which, admittedly, I’m a bit annoyed they didn’t answer in the reveal trailer, but will maintain some element of mystery and excitement. In closing, leakers are annoying, and water is wet.

Underwhelming reveal, given the leaks. We didn’t learn much here, other than “it exists” , especially given that it’s an iterative console. Power? Screen (LCD vs OLED)? I dunno, it was all very underwhelming to me…

The Joy-Cons are deeply flawed, ergonomically speaking, and to think that with the opportunity of a new console Nintendo would do next to nothing to improve the controllers is massively disappointing. But… not looking promising, seems like these may be legit…

Animal Well for me. Certainly not the most impressive in terms of pushing the hardware, but artistically speaking, the visuals and atmosphere are really special and really shine in handheld mode on the OLED.

I sure hope we get those sequels! That Prime remaster was a masterpiece; the gyro controls were a gamechanger. Fingers, toes—all appendages—crossed!

Not a shmup gamer by any means, but after reading this fantastic review (@spadgy) I tried the demo and WOW what a game! Absolutely LOVE the artistry on display here, with the super weird body horror art direction—what disgusting and strange enemies and environments will come next?!—and the jazzy soundtrack and gross sound effects that complement the action. The tutorials were so fun to play through—educational, funny, and very helpful. Highly recommend this game! SOLD! So glad I read this review today!

Looks fun, but I still haven’t opened my copy of Echoes of Wisdom (or Tears of the Kingdom lol). I’m deep into Silent Hill 2 and haven’t even finished Astrobot. Too many games… and Nintendo has lost my attention at the moment!

Demo on PS5 was solid. A weird game, and like others have said, feels like a blend of 90’s horror and Final Fantasy 7. Hope a physical gets released soon!

Gamecube was a fantastic console. Lots of good college-time memories for me, with… Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime, Super Monkey Ball, Killer7, Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Sunshine… Loved that console!

I would love a new MvC in the style of Guilty Gear Strive—the art direction and animation in that game is off the charts.

This looks REALLY GOOD

It’s a tough fight. Encourages you to keep exploring and beef up on upgrades, which is a big part of the Metroid gameplay loop. Very well designed, I think, and a pretty awesome remake overall.

This looks so generic and lame, copying Metroid to the point of sterility. It clearly also has frame rate problems based on the footage in this trailer. HARD pass 💨

Really enjoying Sea of Stars so far—very engaging combat, beautiful environments, and great exploration. The story is a bit “meh” so far, and the characters are a bit bland too, but still a lot of fun.

Excited to jump into Metroid: Zero Mission ASAP.

Then it’ll be time to dig the Wii our for the Metroid Prime Trilogy!!!
