I absolutely loved this game as a kid. I remember it being oddly dark, and a more mysterious Mario game for a different kind of gamer. Not sure if this new art style captures that same energy for me, but I’m still excited to see it happening. Kind of makes me just want to play it again on the SNES mini that I already own tbh… Still VERY exciting though!! 🔥🍄

Which button can you press to add a headphone jack?
I bought a PowerA Enhanced controller (wired, no-gyro/rumble) for $27 and it works beautifully. Nintendo can keep their $70 drifting headphone-jack-less monstrosity.

Kind of shocking they can’t get 60fps on Switch. This is an old game, with pretty basic graphics. I guess there’s just too much sh*t on screen lol

This game was a huge disappointment. I’ve tried several times to get into it with the physical copy I bought, but I just don’t like playing it. Besides all the performance issues, the combat just isn’t fun. It’s a shame, because it has a lot of potential.

That 5/10 is still keeping me from getting anywhere close to buying this game, despite how good it looks in stills. Anyone have updated thoughts on this after a few patches? Were there any patches?

Are the controls for horseback riding better? Please tell me the controls for horseback riding are better. After the release of Elden Ring and its amazing double-jumping horsey-thing, Legend of Zelda needs to get its act together. 😑

I’ll know once my physical copy arrives! But based on what I’ve seen so far, looks like a 10/10 remaster of a 10/10 game to me!

Finished the demo last night, absolutely loved it. I’m not crazy about the character design, but the combat was a blast, and exploring the environments and puzzles was good fun too. Music was fantastic as well; as expected, the whole thing has Chrono Trigger vibes which is just lovely. Ended with a really engaging boss fight. I am 100% sold! 👍🏼

Moonrider is solid fun. I’m jealous and also want to replay the whole Armored Core series!

Handle it like Samurai Jack… he’s certainly able to speak, but really only did so only when necessary. And that show was brilliant. It would work!

Looks fun, but not a fan of the style at all. Every environment looks lifted from a Castlevania game. And those cartoon portraits and life bars, yuck!
Gameplay looks great though…

Looking forward to trying IV and V, but VI is the goat

Really enjoying Tactics Ogre so far. The battles can occasionally drag on, and I don’t love the group level cap, but it’s a fantastic game still, and really scratches that FF Tactics itch that’s been raging for so, so long. Recommended 👍🏼
