2DS is my favorite mobile gaming device. That's right, I said the 2DS. It just fit in the hands perfect. I wish the screen was just a little bigger but I prefer it over the 3DS.
Here's some feedback to all the ocean exploration games out currently... Just because an ocean/sea looks dull and drab color-wise in reality doesn't mean it has to for games. You can make it colorful and as beautiful as you want. People are attracted to colors and beautiful scenes. On a side note... Treasure hunting or even finding your ships parts in an open sea adventure would be cool.
You all missed the Smurf games (Mission Vileaf and The Prisoner of the Green Stone) released a while back. Really good games but I guess you're only talking about 2024 games now. Hmm...
7 years vs 13 years of sales. Well Nintendo is the champ then because 5 more years of Switch sales would trump the PS2 for sure. Either way though, who cares?
I'm not a "Brony" but if it was a fun and interesting game, I would play it. Games like these are usually very kid friendly, gameplay wise. It would be nice to see more attention and detail be put into one of these like the Smurfs got in Vileaf. A very under rated / overlooked game.
Back in the N64 days developers were creative and didn't focus so much on graphics but gameplay. Now it's pretty much the same game genre over and over. Where did the creativity go?
I like the style. Not a fan of games trying to look realistic. It's like watching The Polar Express movie and all the characters end up looking creepy because they tried for a realistic look. Anyway, I like my games to look like games.
@Ryu_Niiyama Not too bad but I did not like Wind Waker at first but it grew on me and turned out being a fun game. the only other Zelda game I did not like was Twilight. It just got dark and weird. Seemed more alien like. Not a fan of that game.
@Gracetrack I did not. The first one was enough of a disappointment. My son did though and complained about the same things from the first. So I didn't even bother besides watching some of the gameplay and obviously had no interest.
@Ralizah Sorry, my bad. Just an open world where there's lack of terrain content. Just feels empty. Like a desert. Open world concept sounds nice but the Switch is not powerful enough to render a bunch of content. Nintendo should have just waited until they had a more powerful console. Just my opinion.
@Ralizah Been a big fan of Zelda since the first release but these last two games are just huge worlds of forgotten content under a regurgitated color scheme. Not a fan.
I had fun playing it back in the day but I just wish Nintendo would add an option to deblur the N64 graphics. I find the N64 filters a strange edition to the console even back then. It didn't make it look any better.
Favorite N64 game. It has got more replay value than any other N64 game I own. Love the design of the trick system as you had to actually work for it in order to execute. 1080 on the Gamecube was a nice edition but Nintendo simplified the tricks and that kind of killed it for me. Although I do find it good for racing or just a sit back and chill kind of game.
I don't remember OoT being overly tough to play. I just played it and enjoyed it back in the day. Should replay it again someday but been waiting for a updated version.
@gcunit It's neither good nor bad news. You just purchase the game like any other game and if you want but don't have to, you can purchase moonstones. Moonstones can also be collected freely in the game as well. It's a pretty relaxing game. The gripe is over-hyped.
That makes the physical release pointless. I don't think developers want you actually owning the games anymore. What if 20 years from now I want to install and play the game and there's no way to download the other half of the game? Not a fan.

N64 console is still my favorite. Best games ever made are on that system.

Re: Atlus Game Snowboard Kids Scores A New Vinyl Soundtrack
Still play this on my N64 but as for the vinyl release, I'm more of a CD guy. Cool that is available though.
Re: Animal Crossing Meets Lord Of The Rings In 'Tales Of The Shire'
Looks pretty good to me. Hopefully this gets a physical release. Looking forward to this.
Re: UK Charts: Princess Peach Continues To Slip As EA Sports FC 24 Scores Yet Another Win
Princess Peach Showtime seems like a mash up of mini games that remind me of something that would be on an iPad. Sorry but not interested in this one.
Re: 'What They Don't Sea' Looks Like The Perfect Primer For 'Endless Ocean'
@sunny63 That one seemed kind of strange to me.

Re: Review: LEGO Animal Crossing - Isabelle’s House Visit - Is It Any Good?
I wonder who will be the first to make a stop motion animation?
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed Is Bringing The Mayhem To Switch
The graphics suit the game better than the movie. Not sure why they went with that art style for the movie? Not a fan.
Re: Review: Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster (Switch) - Another Must-Play From Nightdive
I wonder why it has FPS hiccups? Graphics are far from current. This should be running at a solid 60 FPS.
Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley Gets A New Update, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
@NinjaNicky
Yep, it's been there. I have been using it myself. Nice feature.

Blast Corps!!! I didn't expect that. Interesting.

Want to beat Sony? Put a remake of OoT on Switch and watch it go.
Re: Indie Hit Celeste Celebrates 6th Anniversary With Free N64-Style 3D Platformer
Just because something is low poly, doesn't mean it even looks like a N64 game. If that is indeed the game from the graphic above.

I guess people really like muted colors and an open world with barely anything in it? Hmm...
Re: Top Racer Collection Hits The Brakes On Switch, Delayed To March 2024
Still play Top Gear 2. Awesome racer!

In the eye of the beholder.
Re: Review: Harvest Moon 64 - Rose-Tinted Specs Recommended For This Beloved Farm Sim

Re: 70 Switch Games You Should Pick Up In Nintendo's Festive Offers Sale (Europe)
That's interesting. 70 games and none of my taste really. Maybe Tony Hawk but I don't know.

Re: Nintendo Expands Its Switch Online N64 Library With Three More Titles
1080!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to some JetForce Gemini too.
Re: Oh Dear, Contra: Operation Galuga's Physical Edition Is A Download Code In A Box
If there's no physical copy in the box, then it's not a physical release. It's just pointless trash for the Earth.
Re: Soapbox: Ocarina Of Time's Water Temple Was Tough, But It Doesn't Deserve Its Reputation
I don't remember OoT being overly tough to play. I just played it and enjoyed it back in the day. Should replay it again someday but been waiting for a updated version.
Re: Talking Point: If 'Switch 2' Is Backwards Compatible, What Will You Do With Your Switch?

Re: Surprise! Nintendo Is Officially Working On A Live-Action Legend Of Zelda Movie
@PokemonDMG That would be nice. Everything after that just gets strange. Last Zelda game I played and completed was OoT. Although I did like WW.
Re: Video: We Compare Super Mario RPG On Switch To The SNES Original
I wonder why they just didn't make a new Mario RPG? Seems to be the trend now-a-days.
Re: Poll: WarioWare: Move It! Is Out Today, Will You Be Getting It?
Waiting on 1080. Hmm...
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd November (North America)
Smurfs: Mission Vileaf on Switch was really good. Hoping Smurfs 2 is just as good.

So basically the game stays the way it is now and has been. I'm totally fine with that.
