Re: Soapbox: Sony's Insane PS5 Pro Price Highlights The Delicate Balance Nintendo Must Strike With 'Switch 2'

Inflation comparing in today's world is a joke. For example...

The PS2 ($299 in 2000) did not feel like spending $546 in today's world. If that were the case, I wouldn't have purchased it then and still wouldn't in today's world. That's pricey for a game console. People are forgetting that when the PS2 came out, in that world you got more for your money's worth for everyday things. So if anything, we should not be inflating but deflating the cost when comparing. Totally different world 24 years ago. When the cost of living goes way up but a persons wage doesn't increase or barely does over a time span, inflation comparison is a joke and nothing more than an excuse for current higher prices.

The Smurfs Village Party here. Started playing last night. A bit on the easy side but I haven't gotten too far yet in Adventure mode. More of a sit back and relax with this one compared to the other two releases. I'm a sucker for Smurf games.

Re: Poll: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of LEGO's Zelda 'Great Deku Tree' Set?

LEGOs have always been too expensive for me. This set looks cool but I wouldn't pay more than $35 for plastic pieces. It's PLASTIC! One of the cheapest materials you could possibly use to make anything. Hence why everything is made of plastic now-a-days. Companies like LEGO, Disney and Apple are far too overpriced with their products. Lower prices sell more but I guess this is for the elite.
