The USA song list is pretty bad. Plus due to the lyrics in some of the songs, it got a T Rating.

Had an urge to play "Advance Wars: Days of Ruin". Such a fun game!

I will check when I get home, but it looks like you can convert the project to ISO to work on Swiss (GameCube), Nintendont (Wii/Wii U) and Dolphin (PC).

There is a way to use the Wii U GameCube on Dolphin, and it is possible to use the Bongos (you have to tell change the settings in the Controls to say it is a DK Bongo).

I thought the NDS version had the same CO-OP mode as the GBA one? The NDS version had 3D spaceship sections, which supported 2 to 4 players.

It's one of the games where it's a port of the GBA version, so it uses the 2D pixel art. Although the NDS version does have the extra 3D spaceship sections.

It looks to be a bit paper thin on the content side.

I dunno. I just prefer Super Paper Mario.

Yes, you can get BluRay Players that are region free, but the discs have a region code number.

If the number is set to 0, then it will work on any BluRay player. If they use a number between 1-3, it is region locked.

I was gonna buy the Ultimate Muscle BluRay Collection, but it has a region lock 1 on, and my Xbox One is region lock 2. So it would not work. 😞

In the same reddit post, someone asked if it was available in the Canada eShop. The developer said that the game isn't on there because the game didn't have a French localization.

That does explain why "SENRAN KAGURA Peach Ball" supports English and French (https://www.nintendo.com/fr-ca/store/products/senran-kagura-peach-ball-switch/), but Danganronpa 1 doesn't support French, but is available to download (https://www.nintendo.com/fr-ca/store/products/danganronpa-trigger-happy-havoc-anniversary-edition-switch/).

Who knows what is going on.

When Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp finally got released! While there was so much more they could have done, it's still a decent remake, and hopefully a sequel will happen in the future. 😃

This was in 2004, and I don't think N64 Repros could be bought back then. But the fact there is a repro you can buy that works on PAL N64s makes me think a PAL version did get released.

So a game that is soooooo broken and buggy only has a 3/10 on metacritic?

All metacritic is good for is getting an idea on what the public think. The amount of garbage on the Switch, I feel like they have escaped the wrath of embarrasment.

Also, I swear Harvest Moon 64 had a PAL release. I remember talking to a friend about Advance Wars, and he asked if he could try it out. So he borrowed Advance Wars 1, and I borrowed his copy of Harvest Moon 64 (my console was PAL, so it had to be the PAL version).

I found Harvest Moon 64 to be very boring, so gave it back, and he returned Advanc Wars 1 (I believe he bought his own copy).

To be fair, maybe I am thinking of a different farm N64 game? Or maybe my PAL N64 found a way to play the NTSC version? Or the PAL version is very rare?
