I feel like the bit with Abobo being a "loyal and protective family man" is a reference to the old fan game "Abobo's Big Adventure," where he fought his way through video game land to rescue his son, Aboboy. Gosh, that game was gruesome and dark and funny and inappropriate for anyone. XD

I'm optimistic about this one!

Okay, not gonna lie? This is a REALLY good drop. Ghouls 'n' Ghosts and Revenge of Shinobi are well-documented classics, but Crusader of Centy is an absolute hidden gem that I hope people don't sleep on! I don't know a lot about Landstalker, but it looks like a good one and people seem happy to have it, so, all in all, probably the strongest singular multi-game drop they've done in a LONG time!

I'm looking at you, NES and SNES NSO offerings... >.>

I don't have a lot to add to the conversation here other than echoing what others are saying. If Arkham City can run beautifully on Wii U, I'm optimistic that it and Asylum will run well on Switch. Heck, without the GamePad to worry about, it might even run better!

I would like to see a City Armored Edition skin for Batman, but beyond that, I won't ask for too much more than those two being well-ported. And if Knight is ported well, that's just icing on the cake, I think.

That said, between this and the Metal Gear Solid collection? I think I'm going to be looking into 1TB MicroSD cards when the annual sales start happening. >.>

Two years later, still no sign of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. I mean, I get it's one of the worst games ever, but I still wanna see the novelty of it all. XD

I'm glad, frankly. I maintain Sonic's universe has too many useless characters and Shadow is one of them. Sorry to his fans, but Shadow doesn't do it for me.

Yeah, this is a huge deal, unfortunately. While Internet connections are a more widespread thing, there's still plenty of scenarios where people don't have a stable connections. Or, what if this were passed on second-hand? That's a huge slight against the subsequent owners. Especially when the eShop inevitably goes down or if Sonic Origins ever gets de-listed, a la Deadpool. Sorry, but Sonic Origins is not a huge file size. Everything should be on the card.

Urbosa may be all kinds of awesome, but Mipha stole my heart from the get-go with her gentle nature, caring approach, fierce defense of others, and warm demeaner. I honestly ship the BotW generation Link with her over Zelda. She made him a friggin' suit of armor! Dime a dozen rings be danged!

So, uh, yeah, Zelda, you... you probably lucked out a wee bit there not having her to compete for Link's affection.

And on that note! Mipha doesn't get catty with Zelda, or vice versa. Could it be? A... HEALTHY love triangle where the two don't absolutely come down on one another over him? Shock of all shocks, it CAN be done! Are you paying attention writers out there? Tifa & Aerith weren't an outlier, here!

I'm not gonna lie? I think this is one of the few things that feels like an undeniable improvement. We need more halberd-wielding Peach presentations in the world. She already was showing more leap into action-ness, but this feels like a violent shove in the right direction.

Neither toy line are entirely impressive, but I really do like that Donkey Kong cardboard toy diorama. That just looks awesome!

Conservatively, I'd give it a 7. Some platforming isn't great, but the overall package is way better than any other 3D Sonic game we've had since Sonic Heroes. 06, Unleashed, Generations (sorry, wasn't huge on the 3D portions of this), Boom, and Forces definitely can't compare, and it sits comfortably with the better Colors and Lost World. This is the foundation they need to have for future Sonic games. I just wish the overworld was more vibrant with more traditionally Sonic-like textures and not pseudo-realistic ones. I've enjoyed my time with this so far and definitely, respectfully, but adamantly, disagree with your guys' review.

Always glad to see one of my favorite franchises like Mega Man have success!

So… how about a remake of the older Mega Man games in the style of 11? Maybe an 8-bit upscale of the Game Boy games? Perhaps a re-release of Mega Man & Bass? Or heck, how about that Mega Man 12 we all want? <3

I'm cautious as always with EA. They're just not a good company business-wise, and there's some real issues with their personnel.

That and I'm still bitter they haven't put Road Rash II onto Genesis NSO.

I've heard good things about this game, I can't reconcile the fact that it's including the Ninja Turtles, but missing half of them... ^^;

Seems like there were problems in many places for this one. I had mine pre-ordered at Amazon, but they cancelled it for no explainable reason and customer support did not provide an answer. Luckily, I was able to go into GameStop and just buy it over the counter.

I'd love to see a Western release of this, but what I'm really doing is a summoning circle for a remake of Dragon Quest IX. That game was fuuuuuun!

I've been a fan of Jennifer Hale since Tales of Symphonia way back on GameCube. I feel in all of this, she's the one who has been caught in the crossfire wrongly, so, I hope people'll let up on her at the very least.

I'm sure the Cloud Version releases work for some people... I'm definitely not one of them, though. Shout outs to those who can make it work. The demos just never worked properly for me.

I keep looking at this game, and I feel like it's only a matter of time before we get something like "Disney Matchmaker Sim" and let people do wild stuff like set Goliath from Gargoyles up with Belle from Beauty and the Beast and watch all the memes happen at once.

Well, first off, a TON. Second, if it's getting this bad, maybe it /is/ time gamers stand up for their hobby and start holding companies accountable for their actions, otherwise it's just going to be the wild wild west for them and we're going to see a lot fewer good companies out there and stories like the nonsense at Activision Blizzard King or Ubisoft are going to become the norm because they'll know they can get away with it and it's going to drag the entire industry backwards.

"$4,000 sounds awesome! Stop whining!"

Let's put this into context. You can get $4,000 working two months at Amazon at base pay. No skills, no extra travel, nothing. That sounds extremely low to me if she spent any kind of extended time to me. I'd honestly like to know if she was expected to pay any major travel expenses for this. And for a cinematic-heavy game like Bayonetta is, yeah, that's sounding a little low.

Guys, I know you wanna play your games, but please consider the shape of the industry as a whole and start understanding that people mean more than your $60 game card that you're going to sell back to the game store for $6. I know PlatinumGames isn't nearly as bad as Ubisoft or ABK, but that doesn't mean when they do something fishy, they shouldn't be called on it. Transparency matters, in my humble opinion.

This is my favorite game in the series with a colorful band of characters and great gameplay. It's one I haven't been able to get physically, so, I'm glad to have the NSO release, and it looks great! So silky smooth! I can /really/ make out Hawk's legs flailing when I crash him into Mario/Wario's ever-changing face in Cannonball for the thousandth time!

No, but seriously, I love this game and am glad to fly around in Birdman again. <3

It's appropriate. A lot went into this by the creators and by the fans. It's definitely worth the "Labor of Love" namesake.

I really enjoyed this game! Though that doesn't mean I don't lament what Rare lost with the original Dinosaur Planet. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing them and Nintendo collaborate on a re-release one day. Maybe with Krystal playing a role more hero than damsel?

@N64-ROX Truthfully, "power levels" are just writing tricks to give an impression of power but may not entirely be accurate. While it does have bearing, it ultimately doesn't tell you the whole story. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku (yes, the name is stupid) has a bananas power level, but the character Jiren was able to effortlessly brush him aside. In the manga, Master Roshi, has a low hundreds power level, but his skill and talents were able to give him more of an edge against Jiren than SSGSS Goku had. Yes, Roshi still lost the fight in the end because Jiren himself is skilled as well, but the point is, "power levels" are not wholly reliable in determining who would win in a fight. But I'll stop there before I talk your ear off with more examples.

...That said, if the farmer picks a fight with one of the villains here, he's going to be having flashbacks to episode one with Raditz.

I'm curious to see how well this translates into 2D. Hopefully, very well! Looking at it, it somewhat reminds me of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure or Rocket Knight Adventures. That's a good sign in my book!

I'm kinda looking forward to a game based on the IDW comics. Maybe a Metroidvania-style game or something like the original NES game would be cool to have. Throw in Jennika, Venus, Alopex, and the others, and you could have a winner.

Hard disagree with you on this one, NintendoLife. I actually had a blast with the Tour courses, Sky-High Sundae was a delight, and the new take on Kalimari Desert was most welcome for what was really a standard course with great aesthetic. The only course that was a letdown in any degree was Mario Circuit 3, but it still succeeds in being a faithful recreation, which many players would want. I'm firmly in the 8/10 camp for this set.

That's a pretty cool edition there. I have the big boi coming from Limited Run Games some time in the next two years, but you got some cool stuff there I wouldn't mind having in my set, like that metal coaster or the pins.

I feel like it should have had all four masks, though, but that's just me. I'd be a bit blue if I didn't get my favorite turtle's mask... which, come to think of it... right now, it's Donnie, but in the 80s and 90s, it was Mikey, so... which one would I want here... hmm...

I wasn't a huge fan of the two DS titles and the stylus controls just weren't for me, but I'm going to go ahead and die on this hill.

Spirit Tracks was way, way, way better than Phantom Hourglass.

Not bad, but I'm holding out for a future Nintendo console having a non-cloud version of the games. Maybe next generation.
