I'm curious to see how well this translates into 2D. Hopefully, very well! Looking at it, it somewhat reminds me of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure or Rocket Knight Adventures. That's a good sign in my book!

I'm kinda looking forward to a game based on the IDW comics. Maybe a Metroidvania-style game or something like the original NES game would be cool to have. Throw in Jennika, Venus, Alopex, and the others, and you could have a winner.

@EarthboundBenjy That'd be nice! I kinda hope they let us mix and match. I actually like Bop-Louie a /bit/ more than Hebe, but O-Chan is a HUGE step up from Freeon-Leon.

Hard disagree with you on this one, NintendoLife. I actually had a blast with the Tour courses, Sky-High Sundae was a delight, and the new take on Kalimari Desert was most welcome for what was really a standard course with great aesthetic. The only course that was a letdown in any degree was Mario Circuit 3, but it still succeeds in being a faithful recreation, which many players would want. I'm firmly in the 8/10 camp for this set.

That's a pretty cool edition there. I have the big boi coming from Limited Run Games some time in the next two years, but you got some cool stuff there I wouldn't mind having in my set, like that metal coaster or the pins.

I feel like it should have had all four masks, though, but that's just me. I'd be a bit blue if I didn't get my favorite turtle's mask... which, come to think of it... right now, it's Donnie, but in the 80s and 90s, it was Mikey, so... which one would I want here... hmm...

I wasn't a huge fan of the two DS titles and the stylus controls just weren't for me, but I'm going to go ahead and die on this hill.

Spirit Tracks was way, way, way better than Phantom Hourglass.

Not bad, but I'm holding out for a future Nintendo console having a non-cloud version of the games. Maybe next generation.

...Yes, I'm still bitter about that.

I started in the future with Cube because he was the most interesting-looking player character.

I also renamed Cube "Futbol."

I actually really like the Shy Guy! They're a solid pick to put into any team and augmenting with equipment to fill a need. My old team wasn't especially fast, so, having Shy Guy zip around and hanging around the center of the court, has really filled a needed gap.

@kkslider5552000 Actually, we've been able to get Wily Wars in the Sega Genesis Mini from a couple of years ago, and we also got a reproduction cart from Limited Run Games, but this is easily the most readily available legitimate way it's been made available outside of Europe, so, absolutely still worth celebrating.

Holey moley! I know ripping on Nintendo's online offerings is the hip (and probably right) thing to do, but I've gotta say? This is a solid offering this month. Well done, Nintendo! Or, Sega. Or, whomever. >.>

I think I saw it when it came out, but lost sight of it as other games came out too. It's a shame, this looks like something I'd have loved to have played more of. A non-gun battle royale would have been right up my alley. So sad.

@Mgalens Seeing the whole of the Great Sea was a BIG help, yes. The improved presentation also helped.

@Lanmanna The original trailer ended with Link looking back and giving a long wink that was kinda cringy and felt really unnatural, even with the excuses of a cartoon environment. It may have shifted the tone of the game /too/ much for my taste. Not helped by the fact the weak animation of the trailer to begin with.

The original presentation was not a great presentation. That capstone wink was a little cringe and it looked rough. The refined look was an improvement, but still took time to get used to.

But in the end, we got one of the prettiest Zelda games in the series and one I can’t imagine never of having. Easy top 5 or 3 Zelda for me.

I'm okay with this! I prefer playing alone anyway.

Of course the "board of directors at Activision Blizzard is satisfied with Kotick's performance and handling of the recent scandals." They were more than likely participating themselves and should be held just as accountable as Kotick! Between this and the "Activision declares Activision innocent" announcement a couple of days ago, no, "innocent until proven guilty" is not applicable here. What is applicable? "Where there's smoke, there's fire." There needs to be a federal investigation to the fullest extent of the law. Turn the entire company inside out if you have to. Drag Kotick and the entire board before a grand jury at this rate.

As for Chris Pratt, I’m keeping an open mind with his Mario. Will it be different? Sure. But the Switch is different from other consoles and we love it and other consoles all the same!

That’s good. The only romance that ever worked for Sonic was Princess Sally in the Saturday Morning cartoon and in the better written days of the Archie comics. Their final kiss was perfection.

To be fair, Sonic is the type of character who probably shouldn’t have a “knight and damsel” relationship like we see so often. Whomever he ends up with, if anyone, I’m hoping it’s as different as Sonic is.

Right now, I'm just really hoping the replaced music for Origins on Sonic 3 & Knuckles isn't the PC version, because I really don't like those tracks.

Honestly, I'm really getting frustrated at this whole Ms. Pac-Man nonsense. We're missing out on a lot of Pac games because of it and I'm blaming AtGames entirely on this.

It's a shame the rights to Ms. Pac-Man are tied up in another legal mess in video gaming. Having Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures to round out this collection would have been wonderful.

As much as I love seeing Choco Mountain again, Ninja Hideaway is a really solid course. It's just a shame it wasn't called "Ninji Hideaway" to keep with the Super Mario Bros. world theming.

This is literally everything I have wanted from a TMNT collection, right down to the name itself. These games were such a huge part of my childhood and I can’t wait to own them all in one collection.

This is Day 1 for me. Konami, please don’t screw this up. Master the emulation, do your part to make sure the online multiplayer works well… and if you wanna throw in a coupon for pizza for old time’s sake, I won’t complain.

Shoot, I'm down for that! Bring over the other Chex Quest games too!

I'm going to be going on wait-and-see mode for this one. I like to believe that this kind of release isn't going to be just a total cash grab and that they want to earn customers on the Nintendo side of things to improve their brand name, but I was not impressed with the tech test, so, yeah, I'll wait for the reviews and the first couple of patches.

I've got 'em all already, so this may be a pass for me, but ideally, I'd like to see Split the Room, Quiplash, and Fibbage in a pack together.
