I got some news on 2D Metroid, an open-world Kirby, finally a new date for Layton, and a date for Danganronpa 2x2. Yeah, I'm happy. Very happy.

Would be intriguing to see Hal Laboratory's take on an open-world Kirby. Thank god it wasn't Nintendo, though. Otherwise I would've been terrified.

Feels nice to finally get another 2D Metroid. Always preferred them.

Never did finish the original back then. Guess it's time to change that.

As someone who actually enjoys the VII Remakes so far and can't wait for Revelation...yeah, no. Let's not do this again. If they're gonna remake another game in the series, have it just be one game for XI and VIII or in HD-2D for VI.

The fact that this game isn't even a month old yet and was fixed so quickly makes me appreciate Team Asano even more now. Octopath 0 also had some audio problems and it wasn't long before they patched it up. Asano clearly gives a damn about his games and I fully respect that.

Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Go Groove!

I'm gonna miss that special sensation of unwrapping games on certain occasions, looking at the box art to read the text, and checking the screenshots on the back of it. Oh well, your loss, Sony.

It's a great system. All I wanted was a stronger Switch, and that's exactly what I got. Can't wait to see what Nintendo's gonna do with this thing the further we get.

@jsty3105 Haha! Wow. You know, that's even more ridiculous when you consider that many other of the Nintendo franchises that I didn't list have been part of Nintendo's history for years or decades. As in, unless you're part of that big dogs list, your Nintendo game doesn't deserve to be played or made on Nintendo's new, fresh console that is currently making numbers.

No Kirby, Kid Icarus, Golden Sun, F-Zero, Earthbound, Punch Out, Wave Race, Star Fox, or 1080° Snowboarding. It's only the big dogs, baby! Which further proves my earlier point.

@N00BiSH @UpsideDownRowlet It's honestly what makes fans' reactions to certain game announcements and coverage insanely predictable. Anything that's not Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Xenoblade, Metroid, or Smash? Into the bin it goes, apparently. They're honestly just as bad as Square Enix fans when it comes to only caring about Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Neir, and Dragon Quest. Nothing else.

Seriously, the fact that they've been so damn consistent with their releases lately deserves applause. I remember back during the Wii U days when we were going through so many game droughts that it would make the Atacama Desert blush. The heavy hitters WILL come. Be patient.
