These games are always gameplay first, story second for me, so no.

Once again, I'm not surprised in the slightest. Cozy games sell. Simple as that.

Looking promising. Always enjoyed these types of games that have low stakes that you just want to have fun with.

Miyamoto. You're a great guy. And as a video game guy, I will forever respect you. But you have to understand that if people don't like your movie, it doesn't make them wrong. They are simply speaking for themselves, not for everybody. Some will love your movie, others won't. It's ok. No need to get on your high horse and make a big stink about it.

Another game that's on the wishlist for July. Hopefully, Fire Emblem releases in early August or something because it would make my Summer one to remember.

Deserves more. Games like this that try to do something different interest me way more, so I hope we keep getting them.

Not surprised to see Tomodachi Life killing it. Fact of the matter is that, while not everyone will be into life sims, those kinds of games are made for everyone. They are extremely easy to pick up and play.

Good to see it reviewed well. Glad I preordered this.

One of my most anticipated releases this year. After finishing the demo on Steam, it almost feels as if this game is made for me. Give it to me now.

The fact that it's scoring even lower than the first one makes me fear that something really went wrong here. I'm still gonna watch it, being the Mario nerd that I am, but my expectations are at an all-time low now.

Waiting for it to come to streaming services, which i assume won't be long.

@BaldB3lper78 They DO have new games coming, actually. We just don't have dates or much info for some of them yet. Not to mention the inevitable Summer general Direct coming, which will no doubt flood us with earth-shattering games, as they've almost always done. One of which will most likely be a 3D Mario after the movie inevitably makes bank. That, or something else major that they're keeping behind closed doors.

@squiddu-real Yup. Every. Single. Time. Saying you're not interested in a game is fine. Beating one's head with it over, and over, and over again is maddening. Especially since it can be countered with one simple question: If you aren't interested or don't care, why are you commenting on it? Over, and over, and over again?

Hell yeah. Absolutely adore this series. Hopefully this confirms that Octopath 3 is happening in a few years. Keep trekking on with these 2D-HD games, Square Enix. They're clearly doing well and it's only a matter of time before it hits the 10 million mark.

Probably one of the most comforting and addictive games I've played in a while. No joke, each and every time I stop playing for a while, I get that itchy feeling to go back, but I can't because work is in the way. And it sucks. There were even times that I had to force myself to stop playing. Add this to my list of favorite Switch 2 exclusives.

Not sure why some people are so frazzled about this. The first movie is literally one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time, grossing $1.3 billion. It even beat the first Frozen. Using a Direct as brand power is a smart move, especially since nobody is forcing you to watch it.

Oh cool. Always loved these. Hopefully I get more details and dates for stuff I've been looking forward to, like Neverway, The Witch's Bakery, and hopefully confirmation that At Fate's End is coming to the Switch 2.

Guess I'm getting this one, then. Mother's going through a tough time right now, so this'll be the perfect stress reliever for her.

Looks incredible. And I don't mind that its coming in 2027. It means that they're gonna take their time for once. If they play their cards right, this may be one of the all-time best Gens.

Choosing Browt, by the way. Always love my birds.

Corviknight. Armored birds are cool as hell.

Another favorite of mine. Tough choice between Decidueye and Palossand. I'll go with Decidueye.

Gen 10 is obvious, but I wonder what else'll be here. Still holding out hope for Black and White remakes.

Aegislash. All-time favorite Pokémon right there. Good design, the stat switching when it changes its forms is cool, and its resistances are pretty insane.

Ah, finally arrived at my favorite Gen. A tough choice because I have soooo many favorites in this one, but I'll choose Haxorus.

Go Reanimal! Nice to see that it has a pretty good start. Game rocks.

Better a game leaves you wanting more than less of it, so the short length means nothing to me. Can't wait.

Weak Adventure mode means wait for the sale, then. Got way too many other games in the upcoming months to bother with this.

@Friendly I'd argue there's even less than that due to a good chunk of them being remakes. Plus, the HD-2D games have been pretty consistent so far.

Elliot, Pragmanta, and Reanimal for me. Woof... need to be careful what I pick so my wallet doesn't go completely empty.

The Adventures of Elliot and some updates on certain indie games would make this one of the best for me.

Sonic never interested me and I already bought enough kart racers from last year so this isn't surprising.

For what's announced currently, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, and Rhythm Heaven. I'm interested in Mario Tennis and DQ7, but not day one.

@Kiyata It's pretty odd to see some people get so grumpy and pouty about certain games such as this. It feels like so many people here only truly care about a 3D Mario, Metroid, 3D Zelda, Xenoblade, and sometimes Pokémon. Any other games you bring up in Nintendo's library will be either handwaved or talked down to simply because they're not these big-tentpole Nintendo titles. Sure, not every game will appeal to everyone, since tastes differ, which is perfectly fine! Great, even! Heck, I myself want a 3D Mario and Zelda as badly as the next guy. Absolutely no judgment whatsoever. But it is really evident how thick a bubble certain places on the internet can be.

No, no, no, NO! This is WRONG! The Switch 2 isn't selling well! It was supposed to have a bad holiday, and Nintendo should actually rethink its strategy because these numbers aren't right.

...At least that's what the loud people on the internet told me.

@KayFiOS It's honestly outright comical how much some people absolutely despise this game on here. Claiming it to be the worst thing Nintendo has ever made. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that people should absolutely %100 like the game. It's a public forum, and people are free to say what they want. Such as how the game isn't for them, don't like the gameplay, don't see the appeal, etc...all of that is fair and just. Absolutely no problems with that whatsoever. Heck, even the game itself isn't perfect, nor is it for everyone.

But then I see things like people saying utter nonsense like "This game only exists to make Sakurai happy," or "No one cares about this game", and like...huh??? And seeing this happen, over and over and over again, is enough to drive one mad. Also, for a game they hate and don't care about, some of 'em sure do love to comment on it over and over and over again. Again, public forum, I know. But still...yeesh.

Just a reminder that no game is safe from harsh or fair criticism, regardless of its legacy. Literally anything could happen when reviews, impressions, opinions, and word of mouth are involved.

Hopefully a 2D Metroid isn't far off because those games are more up my speed.

Air Riders continuing to dominate. Wouldn't be surprised if it sold a million by March or so.

Air Riders still dominating the Japan charts despite the cartoonish backlash in the West. Love to see it. Good job to ZA all around, too.

Still waiting to see how this all plays out, but it's starting to look better than I thought it'd be.
